||Vanguard || War Drums || Champaign, Illinois || Season 4 Finale

The show opening starts as the new Vanguard theme for Season 4, “Elevate” by Kingdom Collapse starts to play. It’s quickly followed by the new Season 4 Logo for Vanguard.

The patented CWF Drone flyby opening starts as the drones fly through the crowd of the entire overhead view of the crowd in the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois. As the drones fly over the crowd the theme for Wardrums starts to play through the arena and over your streaming access, either through the CWF website, cable provider, or streaming access.

The drones continue, as fireworks start to go off through the arena’s setup and the video overlay shows that 13,258 fans, out of an arena capacity of 15,300 have joined the CWF live tonight.

The drones all come to the stage, and hover there as the logo for the show comes up with a huge amount of fireworks going off on the stage, with a tunnel going off to one side for the entrances.

Then one breaks free from the rest, and goes down to hover in front of our Vanguard announcer’s desk with both Jessica Carr and Victoria Hill seated there.

Jessica Carr – Good evening and welcome to CWF’s final Vanguard of Season 4. We’re cobranded as War Drums tonight, as they’re getting ready for Tribal Warfare. Tonight starts our double barrel finale for this season with 4 matches for you.

Victoria Hill – And our main event tonight, we’re really looking forward to. Recently Tetsuo Oni came out of her mask, and we all know that now she is Akame McClancy, the eldest child of our commissioner, Blaise McClancy and our head of Security, Yukio Kushinaga-McClancy. Well, last Vanguard, she came in 2nd, behind Mozzy Rella who won the Valor Scamble match up. But she didn’t waste any time in challenging him for tonight’s match before anyone else could.

Jessica Carr – And that is going to be huge. But we don’t have any matches here tonight that aren’t pending some huge pushes into Season 5 as we head to the eastern United States. We will have both members of the CWF Tag Team Champions in singles action tonight, as well as a bit of a debut. But tonight is the pre-show for a pay per view, so things are going to be setting the stage for your momentum heading into Season Five.

Victoria Hill – We will see Vespertine taking on Fiona O’Connell, the 4 Winds Tempest Champion. A win here for Vespertine could set her up for her first 4 Winds title shot, as well as knock the daughter of Father Nathan O’Connell down a notch or two.

Jessica Carr – O’Connell has won her first tile in that 4 Winds belt recently, but has failed to get the Valor title and Conquest Title in other title shots. So both fighters in that match are looking for momentum heading into Season 5.

Victoria Hill – We’ll also have Karlie Nash taking on the recently debuted Annika Deveroux, the daughter of Elizebeth Deveroux, who is better known as Apathy, who recently claimed the prize and had to vacate the Valor title after 5 successful defenses. Again, who of these two might get the momentum heading into Season 5 with a win in their final match of Season 4.

Jessica Carr – and we’ll be starting with Dylan Erickson against Jackson Mikaelson, two people who are really wanting to get things started in what is basically the start of their CWF careers. But we already have heard that one of them has already been granted a CWF Valor Title shot in Episode 1 of Season 5.

Victoria Hill – But, if they don’t come out on top tonight, it’ll be not a great start looking at a Valor title shot, if you had your shoulders to the mat at the end of tonight’s match up. But will that person be facing Mozzy Rella or The Reckless One, Akame McClancy after tonight’s show.

Jessica Carr- Well, four matches for you tonight. But we’ve also got to talk to you about Tribal Warfare, in a couple of days on Pay Per View, coming to you from the United Center in Chicago! We’re going to start that show off with the Insurgency Steel Cage match!

Victoria Hill – The Hardcore Icon, Steve Murdock and Eoin O’Rourke… steel cage, three levels. No rules other than one of them will be declared the winner. But what a hell of a match to start off Tribal Warfare with.

Jessica Carr – Let’s not forget that O’Rourke has recently kidnapped Steve Murdock’s son! This is now personal for Steve Murdock… but the task at hand is not a small one.

Victoria Hill – And while I don’t want to downplay this one, it’s our main event that night. Abigail Dresden defending the Conquest Championship against the man who won the Lunar Warfare Rumble, Samael Drago of the Eternal Grove.

Jessica Carr – Well, this is going to be huge. As of today, the airing of Vanguard Wardrums… Kara Reinhardt’s record of 404 days as a champion is broken… by Abigail Dresden’s Conquest Title run at 407 days today… and the days between now and Tribal Warfare are only adding more to that feat! But if Samael Drago cannot defeat Dresden, she will just continue to break that record.

Victoria Hill – But that then will take us to the middle match of Tribal Warfare. The Tribal Warfare match itself. Two teams of four people. The first team, the nKo of Gabriel Tuck, Trelisa Perrault, and Madd Morales. They will be joined by CWF co-owner, Armand Von Krauss.

Jessica Carr – The other team, Bad Company with Kara and Kronin Reinhardt, joined by the Elite champion, Greg Salazar and captained by the Playboy, Jeremiah Vastrix.  Now, Greg Salazar’s Elite title is on the line in the match as well. So this is a hardcore match.

Victoria Hill  – But on the line from Jeremiah Vastrix are his shares of his father’s company and I assume a seat on the Board to be given to Armand Von Krauss if his team wins. But Von Kruass’ shares and ownership of CWF are on the line to go to Vastrix if Bad Company win!

Jessica Carr – So the future of the CWF is on the line in that match. This goes back to Season 2, Episode 1 as well… when it was announced that Armand Von Krauss had bought out the Benefactor’s shares of the Company. Armand Von Krauss could be gone from the CWF at the start of Season 5

Victoria Hill – It’s not to late to buy the stream of Tribal Warfare with the future of the CWF on the line… from your local cable provider or our only Streaming Partners. Use code Dresden407plus to get a 10% discount on the streaming price, and get a FREE CWF T-shirt, as well as other online specials depending on how you follow us on Social Media. Wait, did I just do a fucking commercial?

Jessica Carr – Yes you did. But, now we have our first match of the night.

Victoria Hill – Looks like the Conquest-Tron is starting up with a small interruption?

A video begins with a sole shot of a hooded figure in a corner of a darkened ring, their back turned towards the camera. A slowed-down version of the opening notes of “Gonna Fly Now” by Bill Conti begins to softly play in the background, as the camera zooms in on the person. A deep breath is taken, followed by a quick exhale, and finally, their voice.

Voice Over – I was born for this.

Quick shots of the hooded figure are shown of them training both in the ring and a weight room, and running up the steps of the famed Art Museum in Philadelphia, PA, as the voiceover continues, with the music shifting to “Going The Distance” by Bill Conti.

Voice Over -All my life I had to defy the odds. Being a young kid from the mean streets of Philly, I often felt like those odds were insurmountable.

A never-ending mountain to climb. All we knew was to go hard… or go harder. There was no in-between. No rest for the weary. No days off. This city would eat you alive if you let it. Ask those who couldn’t take it. They’ll let you know.

But it taught me how to grind. How to hustle. How to adapt. How to evolve. How to survive. And if you’re one of the few that made it out? Then the rest of the world is easy to figure out.

I can’t help the talent that the man above has given me. The uncanny ability to excel at anything I’ve put my mind to. Some people have to work really hard for it. But for someone like me? It just always came naturally.

A final shot is shown of the person finally reaching the top of the Art Museum steps, pulling their hood down and revealing their identity.

Voice Over -And when you’re as naturally good as me?

Then that’s absolute… Money.

The image quickly cuts to black. After a brief moment, four words began to appear.

MIKE CARTER. COMING SOON.

Jessica Carr – Well, coming so to the CWF in Season 5… “Money” Mike Carter.

Victoria Hill – Great move to get at least a promo spot to open up the Pay Per View Weekend for you. He talks a good game, we need to see just how he does next season in the CWF.

Jessica Carr – And let’s see how two others are setting up their closing chapter in Season 4, and setting up how they’re looking at Season 5… Dylan Erickson and Jackson Mikaelson.

Victoria Hill – Lot’s of -son’s in this match.

Jessica Carr – Well, Marcela, take it away.

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first to come to the ring, weighing in at 443 pounds…he is “the Massacre Maker” Dylan Erickson!

The words appear on the ConquestTron, with a video of Erickson beating smaller opponents to a pulp over the years. There are no special effects, pyro, or anything. The man walks out, towering over everything he sees – trying his best to remain stoic, but doing a pretty damn poor job of it. He walks to the ring, knowing none of these people care a lick about him, but he’s just happy to know he’s back home. Finally,

Jessica Carr – Dylan soundly defeated his opponent at the last show. He’s ready to do it again tonight.

Victoria Hill – I think he will find it less easy tonight as he takes on Jackson Mikaelson.

Jessica Carr – This is true. We have not seen Jackson in actual action yet, but he seems like he’d be a tough customer.

Victoria Hill – I think Dylan is going to be outsped in this situation. Jackson is much smaller than Dylan.

Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, weighing in at 225 pounds…he is Jackson Mikaelson!

The lights dim slightly — not dramatic, just lowered. A single motorcycle engine revs through the arena speakers. No pyro. No flashing graphics. Just the sound of something mechanical waking up. “Out of the Black” hits. Jackson steps onto the stage in a black denim cut, jaw set, eyes forward. No posing. No playing to the crowd. He adjusts the tape on his wrists like he’s clocking in for work. He walks down the ramp at a steady pace, eyes occasionally scanning the ring — not the fans. At ringside, he pauses. Not to taunt. To breathe. Then he steps through the ropes, rolls his shoulders once, and backs into the corner. The music fades. He doesn’t.

Jessica Carr – I’m not sure if Jackson has been in other wrestling companies before tonight. This could be his first real-life wrestling match.

Victoria Hill – Of course, he’s wrestled before. Just in non-televised feds before today. Honestly, you call yourself a journalist and don’t do your homework? You don’t get into the CWF without some kind of experience.

Jessica Carr – Oh? Explain Mozzy Rella, then.

Victoria Hill – Well…sometimes one slips through. He is the Valor champion, so he’s good enough.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Dylan and Jackson approach each other in the center of the ring. Dylan looks down on Jackson with a wide grin.

Dylan takes a swing at Jackson, who ducks under the arm. He hits a couple of body shots on Dylan before sidestepping another swing and kicking Dylan in the side of the knee.

Dylan takes another swing at Jackson, who dodges and hits another couple of body shots. This prompts Dylan to simply seize Jackson up as if doing a body slam and hurl him across the ring, where he slams into the corner and bounces off of it. Jackson gets up, but then sees Dylan at the last second as the bigger man charges him and hits a shoulder block that sandwiches Jackson between Dylan and the corner!

Jessica Carr – The whole ring looked like it had moved a couple of inches from that impact!

Victoria Hill – I can’t imagine how Jackson must feel right now.

Mozzy Rella walks out from the back to come to ringside with a popcorn and beer in hand as he has the Valor championship belt around his waist. He unfolds a chair and sits down to watch the match.

Jessica Carr – What’s he doing here?

Victoria Hill – Looks like he’s watching the match!

Dylan pulls back a bit so he can slam his forearm into Jackson’s head in a series of European uppercuts before grabbing him and tossing him from the corner to the center of the ring like a ragdoll. Jackson turns through the air, though, and lands on his feet! He hits the unsuspecting giant from behind with a few body blows to the spine and ribcage before Dylan can turn around. He then brings the giant down with an Engine Block – Short-arm lariat with minimal wind-up!

Jessica Carr – And Dylan goes down!

Victoria Hill – He underestimated Jackson’s skill in mid-air. Might cost him if he keeps that up.

Jackson hits a few kicks to the ribcage and legs before Dylan gets back to his feet and shoves Jackson a few feet backwards, but Jackson remains on his feet. Jackson goes back in to get Dylan in the cinch position, but Dylan simply wraps his arms around Jackson in a giant bear hug and lifts him up to break the cinch hold.

Mozzy Rella sarcastically claps his hands from ringside.

Jackson grabs Dylan by the side of the head and headbutts him a few times to get Dylan to break the hold, then brings the giant down with a drop toe hold. He then stomps on the back of the giant’s left knee, bringing out a shout of pain.

Jessica Carr – Dylan’s not going to be able to walk very well if Jackson keeps that up.

Victoria Hill – I think that’s the idea.

Mozzy Rella gets up onto the ring apron while Jackson’s back is turned, taking off the Valor championship belt. He takes a wild swing at Jackson, but misses and falls into the ring. Jackson grabs Mozzy by the hair and flings him out of the ring and onto the announcer’s table, but he does not go through it.

Jessica Carr – Looks like we have an uninvited guest!

Victoria Hill – Shoo! Shoo! We’re on a low cheese diet.

Mozzy Rella grabs his Valor belt from the ring and begins to make his way to the back. Jackson Mikaelson watches for Dylan Erickson to get up and grabs him to get him in a double underhook hold. He’s about to try to lift Dylan up for his finishing move, the Dead End Road, when Dylan simply stands up. He drops into a seated position to drop Jackson onto his head! He watches for Jackson to get up and leaps into the air, hitting a massive Axe Kick that sends Jackson crashing to the mat! Dylan goes for the cover, and referee Troy Reynolds gets into position for the count!

….one

……two

……..three!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Dylan Erickson!

Jessica Carr – Jackson almost had it, but he hadn’t worn down the giant enough to get the job done.

Victoria Hill – Yeah, he shouldn’t have tried for that finisher so soon. Lesson learned.

Jessica Carr – After this break, we have Annika Devereaux taking on Karlie Nash!

Victoria Hill – Should be an exciting match.

European Wrestling Foundation

The show comes back from a quick streaming break, and the cameras are backstage.

Heart beating like thunder, Jackson sat back against the post.

Sweat dripping down his face, his eyes were wide as if he couldn’t believe the fight he’d just survived.

Jackson Mikaelson – I’m still alive.

Jackson pounded a hand over his heart.

Jackson Mikaelson – I’m not done. If I cannot move heaven. I will raise hell.

Jackson’s expression tightened to a hard line.

Jackson Mikaelson – Conquest Wrestling Federation roster: this is the hunt. I don’t care who it is, what you think you deserve: my future dance card’s open: challenge extended. The wolf awaits.

Victoria Hill – Mikaelson didn’t come out on top, this time. But he’s ready to try to correct that course as we go into Season 5.

Jessica Carr – Well, we’ve been informed that he is the one that has been determined as getting the shot at the Valor Champion in Episode 1 of Season 5.

Victoria Hill – A huge test right off the bat in Season 5 for Jackson Mikaelson. Now I’m gold we’re going back to check in with someone.

And the camera switches to the locker room area, once again.

Alyssa Lucchi steps into the eNVy locker, Vespertins is stretching in the corner, Tracy is on what seems like a business call, Hilda is well being Hilda, Karlie finished taping her wrist and looked up at Alyssa.

Alyssa Lucchi – I just cut to it, tonight you face Annika Devereaux, Apathy’s daughter, a veteran of Japan, you’re one half of the tag team champions, and tonight you’re not defending title thoughts.

Karlie Nash – People would think I would immediately be intimidated by Annika why because she’s Apathy daughter, well I have no Apathy for Annika how about that nor do I care she wrestled in Japan, Japan isn’t the be all end of wrestling people claim it is, personally I think its overrated but I said that all ready right, if people think here tonight one half of the CWF tag team champions is going to be cannon fodder for Apathy’s daughter, then they’re stupid like all the people here tonight, Tonight Alyssa, I prove once again why my wrestling will always be superior, that tonight Annika isn’t fighting a Joshi, she’s wrestling someone that would eat any of those Joshi’s alive, and tonight Annika learns that dues are paid the hard way, by taking the ass kicking that’s coming her way tonight, nothing she learned in Japan has prepared her for someone like me, tonight the cannon fodder is Annika Devereaux, and there ain’t nothing she can do about, this interview is over Alyssa, you can leave now.

Jessica Carr – And Karlie Nash showing no respect for Annika Deveraaux for who her family is, or the training she received in Japan.

Victoria Hill – Well she’s already proven that US Wrestling is better than both Japanese and British Wrestling in the past. So, she’s not wrong.

Jessica Carr – Well we’ll see in this our second match of the night for Vanguard: War Drums. Let’s go to Marcela Sancho, in the ring.

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at 160 pounds…she represents the Dynasty Era, this  is Annika Devereaux!

“Adrenaline” by Gavin Rossdale begins playing as Annika Devereaux walks out from the back to a mixed reaction from the crowd. She makes her way down to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope to get inside. She looks around at the crowd before leaning in a corner.

Jessica Carr – Annika got through her first opponent just fine, but now is a “named opponent,” and so the challenge is going to be all the greater.

Victoria Hill – Yeah, and one half of the tag team champions at that in the form of Karlie Nash.

Marcela Sancho – And their opponent, weighing in at 172 pounds…she is one half of the CWF Tag Team Championship team, eNVy…representing the Eternal Grove, she is Karlie Nash!

Karlie walks to the ring, ignoring the crowd. She climbs the ropes from the outside, gives a thumbs down to the fans, then lowers her hood and smirks at the crowd. She steps down from the ropes inside the ring, removes her hoodie, and stretches in the corner.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Annika and Karlie meet in the center of the ring where they begin circling around one another while looking for an opening by which to strike. Karlie mouths something at Annika, who responds by slapping Karlie across the face! Karlie’s eyes go wide with anger and she goes to punch Annika, but she deflects the move and palm strikes Karlie right in the middle of the face! She then whips Karlie into the ropes and flips Karlie with a knee to the midsection on the rebound.

Jessica Carr – Annika is starting this match off with a bang.

Victoria Hill – Yeah, she should, or else Karlie will sweep her away.

Annika grabs the rising Karlie and twists her into a chicken wing, applying the pressure. Referee Georgina Ross, gets in to see if Karlie will submit, but she refuses. Karlie gets her other arm up to elbow Annika in the side of the head to get her to break the hold. Karlie then slips behind Annika to apply a full nelson before hitting a bulldog with the full nelson still applied.

Annika is back up quickly, but is kicked in the gut and whipped into the ropes. On the rebound, Karlie goes for a clothesline, but Annika ducks under the outstretched arm and goes to the ropes on the opposite side. On the next rebound, Annika charges at Karlie, hitting an elbow strike to the side of the head that levels Karlie.

Annika pulls Karlie up and gets her into a vertical suplex, holding her upside down for a few precious seconds before dropping back to finish the hold. She quickly goes for the pinfall, Georgina Ross getting into position to make the count.

….one

……two

……..thr-Karlie kicks out!

Jessica Carr – Annika going for the early pinfall, but just isn’t going to get it yet.

Victoria Hill – Yeah, she’s going to have to work on Karlie a bit more if she’s going to want to finish this match.

Annika gets back to her feet and watches as Karlie gets up. They lock up quickly, Karlie pushing Annika back with her greater strength and weight. They get into the corner where Karlie breaks the hold and whips Annika across the ring into the opposite corner. Karlie charges across the ring, leaping through the air to hit a leaping avalanche! She grabs Annika by the shoulders and rolls back to throw Annika to the center of the ring.

As Annika gets right back up, Karlie runs at her again, hitting an Unsportsmanlike Conduct – Clothesline From Hell to bring Annika right back to the mat! Karlie drops down and hooks a leg for the pinfall!

….one

……two

……..thr-Annika kicks out!

Karlie kneels up and looks accusingly at Georgina Ross, who is quick to hold up two fingers as if to say that it was only a two-count. She shakes her head and pulls Annika back to her feet. Karlie gets Annika’s head between her legs and starts going for the double-underhook when Annika pulls Karlie’s legs out from under her. She does a quick flip while holding the legs to land on Karlie’s chest and goes for the cover! Georgina Ross gets back into position for the count.

….one

……two

……..thre-Karlie kicks out!

Jessica Carr – Annika almost had the win here.

Victoria Hill – Almost doesn’t cut it in wrestling. It’s not like horseshoes and hand grenades.

Jessica Carr – Good point.

Victoria Hill – Don’t I know it.

Annika gets up and pulls Karlie to her feet, but Karlie reacts first, throwing a hard right hand to stagger Annika. She picks Annika up and slams her down ot the mat by a corner so that she can slip out of the ring and apply an Iron Crossbar – Ring Post Figure Four! Georgina Ross gets in there and begins to count Karlie out for the illegal hold.

1…2…3…4…5! Karlie breaks the hold. She stands up and grabs Annika by the leg and slams the side of her right knee into the corner post before rolling into the ring! Annika rolls away from the corner while holding onto her right knee, and Karlie walks over and stomps on it to add insult to injury. She kicks Annika across the face just as hard as she can to send blood and spittle splattering across the mat, and goes for the figure four leglock in the ring! Georgina checks to see if Annika will submit, but she refuses and grabs the ropes that are nearby. Georgina tells Karlie to break the hold, but she does not, so she begins another count.

1…2…3…4…5! Karlie breaks the hold.

Jessica Carr  Dang, is Annika going to be able to walk after that move

Victoria Hill – She’s going to have to try or else give up the match now.

Karlie pulls Annika up and starts to go for the double-underhook when Annika elbows her in the gut and stands up. She spins Karlie around and hits the Fallout (Rhea Ripley’s Riptide)! She drops Karlie into a pinning position, folding her in half while going for the pin. Georgina Ross gets into position for the count.

….one

……two

……..three!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Annika Devereaux!

Annika celebrates in the ring with a heavy limp as she walks around the ring with her arms i the air. Karlie Nash rolls out of the ring and heads to the back.

Jessica Carr  Tough night for Karlie Nash.

Victoria Hill – Could have been a worse night, though. I’m not sure how, but it could have been.

Jessica Carr – After this commercial, we have Vespertine taking on Fiona O’Connell!

Victoria Hill – Match of the night coming up!

The show comes back with the cameras on the announcer’s table.

Jessica Carr – Welcome back to Vanguard: Wardrums as we are half way through tonight’s matches that finish out the 4th Season of the CWF for Vanguard. We’re only a couple days away as Tribal Warfare will be coming to you from Chicago. If you’re joining us late, tonight we’re in Champaign, Illinois. And our next match is one that is really going to be good.

Victoria Hill – One half of the Tag Team Champions. One fourth of the Eternal Grove, Vespertine will be taking on the 4 Winds Tempest Champion, Fiona O’Connell. This match isn’t for a title but just, as the rest of our matches tonight… momentum heading into Season 5. Ms. O’Connell had failed to get the Valor Title, and the Conquest title early in Season 4. But she recently beat Kat Hale for the Tempest Championship.

Jessica Carr – Vespertine is a former Valor Champion, and again, one half of the Tag Team Champions. So this match is going to be maybe match of the night, to rival our main event that’ll happen right after this one.  I can’t wait, so let’s go to Marcela in the ring.

Victoria Hill – 2nd to last match of the season for Vanguard!

Marcela Sancho – Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is set for one fall!  Introducing first.  She hails from the Gates of Eternity!  Standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing in at 115lbs.  She is a member of the Eternal Grove, Vespertine!!!

The lights in the arena go out, over the loudspeakers we hear buddist monks chant and the slow gong of a funeral bell. This goes on for a minute before we hear her voice..

“I see you

I see your soul

And it… is…. mine!”

As the buddhist chant and the gong die down, “Beast Mode On” comes up and purple and black lights come up. From under the stage doing a Gangrel type entrance is Vespertine. On the Tron we see pics of her wrestling and every so often we see the words “Death by Diva” or “Beast Mode On”. She is facing backwards and when the lift stops, she turns around and steps off to the entrance ramp, still looking down, arms crossed in front of her.  Her tag team title is around her waist.

“Muscles screaming louder, heart about to burst

Nothing gonna stop me, I’m putting in the work

Limits only live inside the mind

Unleash the animal you’ll find”

As the song builds, she looks up and we see her eyes are completely white and orbless. She then raises her fist into the air and two lighting strikes come from different areas of the arena and strike on each side of her. She saunters in time to the music, then goes up the ring steps and flips over them (Melina style). She gets up, and puts both fists in the air as fire pillar pyros go off on all four corners of the ring.

“Every weakness gone

Power in my veins

Never feel the pain

Beast mode on”

She goes to the middle of the ring and stares at her opponent for a minute or two before closing her eyes and lifting her head to look up. As she does the lights come back up and she slowly looks down and we see her eyes have returned to their normal color but also she has an evil smirk on her face.  She then does a feral type of scream, like a banshee wail that reverberates in various areas around the audience.

“Now the fight is won

I’m a legend in the making

Beast mode on”

She takes off her trenchcoat and hood to give to a ring tech, then unhooks her belt, raises it for everyone to see and gives it to the ref.  She waits for the match to start.)

Jessica Carr – And Vespertine comes to the ring.  This might just be a singles match on the card, but could very well position the winner for a chance at big things going into season 5.

Victoria Hill – This is true, Vespertine has held gold in CWF before.  Fiona might still be looking for her first taste of gold in CWF, but she is the current 4 Winds Tempest Champion.  So I would say whoever wins this will definitely be in prime position when Season 5 starts.

Marcela Sancho – And introducing her opponent.  She hails from Dublin, Ireland.  Standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing in at 135lbs.  She is the 4 Winds Tempest Champion, and is a member of the Upstarts, Fiona O’Connell!!!

As ‘Blood’ by Dropkick Murphys plays over the PA, Fiona comes out from the back very much like a boxer, jogging in place, hopping from one foot to the other. She is clearly singing along with her entrance song but no mics pic up her voice and she lets loose a lightning fast flurry of punches before holding up her right hand into the air. The crowd comes to their feet cheering and Fiona makes her way to the ring slowly, stopping to shake hands with fans and as the fans cheer, she seems to feed off their energy and then, finally makes her way to the ring where she climbs in and throws another combination of punches and then moves to a corner and just stares at Vespertine, pacing back and forth in her corner eager for the fight to begin.

Jessica Carr – And here comes Fiona.  She’ll have an advantage in this match as despite the two being about the same height, Vespertine is giving up about 20lbs to Fiona which is going to make those lightning fast punches of hers even more punishing.

Victoria Hill – Very true, but Vespertine is a ruthless and dangerous opponent.  You can be sure she is well aware of the weight difference and has a plan to compensate.

Marcela Sancho leaves the ring and Georgina Ross calls for the bell.

DING!! DING!!

The two women face off and Vespertine mockingly takes up a boxing stance and throws a few playful mocking punches.  Fiona assumes her boxing stance and cocks her right fist as she watches the display, picking a moment when Vespertine has left an opening and hits Vespertine with two lightning fast left jabs but keeps her right hand ready.

Jessica Carr – Well Vespertine decided to make a joke about Fiona’s boxing background and she got a couple of fast jabs in the face for it.

Victoria Hill – Well, I don’t blame Vespertine, this is wrestling, not mma or boxing and jabs don’t do much damage.  She didn’t use the right because she’s afraid of-

Victoria is cut off as Vespertine lunges forward and tries to grab Fiona who dodges and hits Vespertine in the lower right portion of the torso with two lefts and then a right cross to the face that sends Vespertine toppling to the mat in a heap.

Jessica Carr – You were saying?

Victoria Hill – Shit.

Fiona waits for Vespertine to get up and Vespertine gets to her feet, shaking her head a bit and moves towards Fiona.  Fiona throws a few jabs as she tries to keep Vespertine at bay.  Vespertine backs off at the first two jabs, bats away the third and darts in, bringing Fiona down with a double leg takedown that looks half wrestling move, half football tackle.  Vespertine mounts Fiona, hitting her with a headbutt and begins hammering her with ground and pound style punches, forcing Fiona to block and play defense.

Jessica Carr – Vespertine showing an impressive ability to adapt and managed to bring Fiona to the mat.

Victoria Hill – and now Fiona is getting a taste of her own medicine

Fiona grabs Vespertine’s right arm and rolls over, transitioning into an armbar.  Georgina Ross drops down to check for a submission but Vespertine shakes her head no and tries to position herself to where she can reach the ropes.  Fiona continues to put pressure on the armbar and Vespertine grits her teeth before finally making it close enough to get a foot on the ropes.  Ross calls for the break and Fiona maintains the hold until a 4 count before breaking the hold.

Jessica Carr – Fiona making use of her size advantage to get an armbar on Vespertine

Victoria Hill – But Vespertine was able to counter and get to the ropes, Fiona will have to try something else to get one over on the more experienced Vespertine

Both fighters get back to their feet, Vespertine charges and tries for a clothesline but Fiona counters with an arm drag, Vespertine kips back up and Fiona brings her to the mat with another arm drag.  Vespertine kips up again and for a third time, Fiona brings Vespertine to the mat with an arm drag, Vespertine rolling out of the ring, shaking her right arm.

Jessica Carr – A series of arm drags and Fiona continues to work on that arm of Vespertine.

Victoria Hill – Yeah well, smart move by Vespertine to roll out to ringside and take a second to regro- Bloody hell!

Fiona rebounds off the ropes and charges, leaping over the top rope and hitting Vespertine with her version of the tope con hilo, leaving both women on the floor and the crowd comes to their feet

Crowd – Holy Shit!!  Holy Shit!!

Georgina Ross looks at both women on the floor outside the ring, shrugs and begins the count..

…1!

…2!

Both women writhe on the floor, trying to get back to their feet.

…3!

…4!

Fiona reaches up and grabs the top of the barricades, pulling herself to her feet.

…5!

…6!

Fiona starts back towards the ring and Vespertine makes it to her feet.

…7!

…8!

Fiona rolls into the ring and Vespertine comes into the ring soon after.

Jessica Carr –  Celtic Dive from Fiona, beautifully executed, she can certainly go airborne when she needs to

Victoria Hill –  Yeah, but aerial moves hurt you as much as your opponent.  I’ve never understood the point of them.

Fiona grabs Vespertine’s right arm as she tries to get to her feet and turns, utilizing the arm wrench to bring Vespertie to her tip toes and then goes into a second wrench and then arm drags her to the mat again, stomping on Vespertine’s shoulder.

Jessica Carr – Fiona showing ruthlessness as she continues to target the right arm of Vespertine.  She is really, wrestling with an edge tonight.

Victoria Hill – That she is.  But she also has not managed to put Vespertine away yet.

In the ring, Fiona pulls Vespertine up to her feet, Vespertine counters with a quick small package, but Fiona kicks out before Georgina can begin the count.  Both get up but Vespertine hits a DDT, planting Fiona on the ropes and runs to the ropes, hitting a springboard moonsault and tries for a pin

…One!

……Two!

Jessica Carr – And Fiona kicks out right at the two count, but some impressive offense from Vespertine as she tries to change the momentum of the match

Victoria Hill – It seems like she already has!  Vespertine is in control of the match at the moment.

Vespertine pulls Fiona to her feet and Fiona hits a punch to the body but Vespertine cuts her off with a headbutt that drops Fiona to a knee.  Fiona again punches Vespertine in the gut and again gets hit with a headbutt.  Vespertine pulls Fiona to her feet and tries for her kiss of death but Fiona hits a headbutt of her own, plants Vespertine on the mat face first with a sweep and transitions into her version of a fujiwara armbar.

Jessica Carr – Celtic Armbreaker!!  On the right arm!  We’ve never actually seen Fiona pull out her submission finisher before!

Victoria Hill – No!  Get to the ropes, Vespertine!!!

Georgina Ross drops to the mat and checks for a submission.  Vespertine tries to get to the ropes and Fiona counters by sitting down on Vespertine’s back and cinching in the hold..Vespertine finally cries out in pain as she tries to reach for the ropes

Jessica Carr – My god, fans!  I don’t think we’ve ever heard Vespertine in pain before!

Victoria Hill – I can’t believe this.. This match was supposed to be a win for Vespertine and the Eternal Grove!!

Finally, Vespertine can’t take it anymore and taps on the mat.  Georgina Ross calls for the bell and orders Fiona to break the hold which she does.

DING!!  DING!!

Marcela Sancho – Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match, by submission, Fiona O’Connell!

Jessica Carr – Fiona comes out on top and makes Vespertine tap out!

Victoria Hill – Fluke win!

Jessica Carr – Well, one more quick set of Ads for us tonight and then our final match as the Valor Championship is on the line!

Revolution Championship Wrestling: Unleash the Chaos

The Show comes back and once again the cameras are on our announcing team.

Jessica Carr – Welcome back… and a bittersweet moment for us here. We’re about to have our last match of the CWF Presents: Vanguard… for Season 4. And what a match we have for our main event and finale.

Victoria Hill – Two Cycles ago, the third ever Valor Title Prize was claimed as Apathy won her fifth defense. We still have yet to hear just what she will be going after as she won a chance to challenge for any CWF or 4 Winds Championship.

Jessica Carr – That left the Valor Championship vacant, and last Vanguard we had the traditional Valor Title Scramble. That led to the following that setup this match up. First, the recently unmasked Akame McClancy, formerly known as the 4th Tetsuo Oni took the place of an injured Miguel Lanza.

Victoria Hill – Injured my ass. He showed up to get beat by Samael Drago on Warzone.

Jessica Carr – Well, others in that match and Akame McClancy fought and scored pinfalls and submissions as a Scramble match does. But in the end… it was our resident newest musical talent, Mozzy Rella…

Victoria Hill – And as we just saw in the Commercials…. His album; published by CWF Records, Go-Rella, is out now. Stream it, buy it, listen to it. It’s funnier than Afroman taking pot shots at Cops and Lemon Pound Cake. It might not be very good, but it’s funnier than Afroman.

Jessica Carr – If you say so. But… Mozzy Rella came out of that as the CWF Valor Champion. But Akame McClancy wasted to time challenging him to this match up. Now, one on one. Akame McClancy will challenge Mozzy Rella for his first Valor Title Defense.  Will she cut his reign short, or is she victim number 1 on his way to claim that five defense Valor Championship prize.

Victoria Hill – Well, Akame McClancy is not her more successful tag team partner, Abby Dresden. So we know where this is going.

Jessica Carr – Well, one more match and then our season is done… so take it away Marcela Sancho!

Marcela Sancho – The following contest has been scheduled for one fall and is for the CWF Valor championship!

The intro ‘static’ start to “Reckless” By Lacuna Coil starts to play. When the guitars hit, Akame McClancy steps out onto the stage. Wearing her new gear. She’s wearing her two title belts, and has the Upstarts flag on a pole. She holds up an Oni mask on a stick in front of her face.

As the song picks up, she hands the flag pole and her ‘mask’  to a stage hand, followed her two titles belts… then she starts a march down to the ring, slapping hands with fans as she does.

Marcela Sancho – And now, coming to the ring… She hails from Scottsdale, Arizona. Representing the Upstarts…Coming in at 5′ 5″ and 135 lbs. One half if the 4 Winds Dyad Champions, and the current reigning 4 Winds North American Champion, She is AKAME MCCLANCY!

When she gets to the ring, she climbs up the ring stairs to the corner. Once up on the apron, she doffs her robe and hands it to the ring attendant. She then pulls the top rope and springboards to the top turnbuckle, where she takes a seat to wait for the bell to ring.

Jessica Carr – Akame has been fire since losing the mask.

Victoria Hill – She’s going to have to be in order to win the title tonight.

Marcela Sancho – And her opponent, he is coming in at 6’0” and 220 pounds…he is the CWF Valor champion…Mozzy Rella!

“Kick Door” by Mozzy Rella begins playing as Mozzy Rella walks out from the back. He has the Valor belt around his waist and a Tetsuo Oni mask on his head (a copy of the one that Akame wore) and a microphone in his hand.

Mozzy Rella – Cut the music, cut it. Listen up, little miss reckless, you asked for this match, you called me out, now you get me. All these fans are here to see their hero, the infamous Mozzy Rella, (booing begins) The rhythmic riot, the metaphor master (a beer can smacks Mozzy in the back of the neck and falls to the ground) the myth, the legend (He picks up the can and chugs it, crunches it and tosses into crowd) the Valor champion (booing continues ) But first I want to ask you something. Does the rain in Spain fall mainly on the plain?” (Manically laughing) Here I come sweetheart. Hit the music….

“Kick Door” starts back up, and Mozzy rips the Tetsuo Oni mask off of his head and throws it down to the floor. He steps on it, really grinding it into the floor before lighting up a joint and starting to walk toward the ring. When he gets into the ring, he climbs to the top rope with the Valor belt held high, the joint hanging from his lips, and trash being thrown toward him as the boos continue.

Jessica Carr – Mozzy Rella is not well-liked around here.

Victoria Hill – Yeah, it might be his bad personality, his bad singing, or even his bad wrestling.

Jessica Carr – His bad face!

Victoria Hill – Yeah, that too.

Mozzy Rella hands the title belt off to referee Leroy Wallace, who holds it aloft for the crowd to see before handing it off to the timekeeper Charlotte Anderson. As the bell sounds to start the match, Akame McClancy and Mozzy Rella meet in the center of the ring. Mozzy laughs.

Mozzy Rella – You’re going to go down and not in the fun way!

Akame McClancy – What’d you say to me?

Mozzy Rella – I said…hit the music!

https://suno.com/s/R2ZwdEOympVB4kJD

Akame watches in disbelief as Mozzy sings his song and then hits him with a ridge hand to the side of the head once he’s done, knocking the microphone to the mat. Mozzy returns the favor with a hard right hand, but Akame deflects and catches Mozzy right under the chin with another ridge hand, whipping Mozzy’s head back.

Akame whips Mozzy into the ropes and catches him on the rebound, tossing him through the air to land him on his head. She runs at him, hitting a basement dropkick to the face! She watches as Mozzy Rella gets back to his feet and kicks him in the gut before hitting a butterfly suplex!

Jessica Carr – Akame right into the offense in this match.

Victoria Hill – That’s the way to do it. Make sure that Mozzy doesn’t know what’s going on in the ring.

Jessica Carr – Did he ever know what’s going on in the ring?

Victoria Hill – Good point.

Akame applies an armbar to the downed Mozzy. Leroy Wallace gets in there to see if Mozzy is going to submit, but he refuses. Mozzy works his way to his feet and grabs the top rope. Leroy makes Akame break the hold and back away.

Mozzy Rella comes away from the ropes and puts his arm around Leroy’s shoulders with a wide grin. He stuffs a bill into Leroy’s breast pocket.

Mozzy Rella – Maybe you can look the other way when I break the rules here in a minute. That’s a good ref.

Mozzy picks up the microphone and holds it in a threatening position while Akame gets ready to defend herself.

Jessica Carr – Right in the middle of the match, he’s going to bribe the referee?

Victoria Hill – Sure looks like it. I wonder how much he gave ole Leroy?

Leroy pulls the bill out of his pocket and sees that it’s a one-dollar bill with two zeroes added to the end of the one to make it like a hundred-dollar bill. He grabs the microphone from Mozzy’s hand and throws the dollar bill in his face.

Leroy Wallace – Yo, get out of here with that shit. I may just disqualify you right now and remember…you would still lose the title!

Mozzy Rella – No shit? That’s some bullshit, man!

Leroy Wallace – You might want to pay attention to the match, man.

Mozzy Rella turns around and catches a running knee to the midsection that doubles him over. Akame follows this up with an elbow to the back of the neck that sends Mozzy to the mat!

Jessica Carr – I can’t believe he tried to bribe Leroy with a modified dollar bill! That’s so funny!

Victoria Hill – Good thing that Leroy looked at the dollar to get the fact that he was being cheated.

Mozzy gets up to his hands and knees, and Akame looks like she is going to knee him in the side of the head when Mozzy brings his fist down sideways into the inside of her left thigh to create a massive charley horse that Akame grabs at while backing away a step. Mozzy lunges into the air, catching Akame in the chest with his shoulder and knocking her down to the mat!

Akame gets up quickly, but Mozzy goes in with the Triple Kick (kick to the thigh, kick to the ribs, and ending with a kick to the head)! Akame is staggered backward a few steps, where Mozzy grabs her and brings her down with a sit-out piledriver! He goes for the quick cover!

….one

……two

……..thr-Akame kicks out!

Mozzy Rella kneels up and looks at Leroy with disdain. Leroy shakes his head and shows Mozzy two fingers to indicate that it was a two-count. Mozzy gets up with a sigh and pulls Akame to her feet before dropping her with a Leg Hook Belly To Back Suplex! He jumps back to his feet and watches as Akame starts to get to her hands and knees so that he can stomp on her hands. He watches with a smile as she lets out a roar of pain and kicks her in the side of the face to send a splatter of blood and spittle across the mat!

Jessica Carr – Mozzy going hard now.

Victoria Hill – Phrasing! He kind of has to hit things as best as he can if he’s going to come away with the win tonight.

Mozzy watches Akame trying to recover and get up with a smirk before he kicks her in the side of the face again.

Mozzy Rella – You thought you could get Daddy to get you a title match. (kick) Well? Where’s daddy now? (kick) He’s not here to protect you. (kick) Just you and me in the ring now, girlie.

Mozzy goes to kick her in the face again when Akame moves and catches him by the foot. She glares at him with hatred, though half of her face is already bruising, bleeding, and her left eye is starting to swell shut.

Jessica Carr – Looks like Mozzy Rella is in some predicament.

Victoria Hill – Always neuter your pets…

Jessica Carr – What?

Victoria Hill – Just predicting the future.

Akame gets up to her knees while still holding the foot and pulls him into a spinning backfist to the nuts!

Jessica Carr – Iron Fist to the Ballsack! Oh my gawd!

Victoria Hill – Told ya.

Mozzy Rella falls to the mat and curls up into the fetal position while Akame McClancy stands up, still dripping blood onto her chest from her face.

Leroy Wallace – That move would have gotten you disqualified had I seen it, but I did not, so…carry on.

Akame nods and climbs to the top turnbuckle. She raises her arms into the air to get the crowd going before a fan in a Tetsuo Oni mask, and Mozzy tshirt jumps the railing and climbs up onto the ring apron!

Jessica Carr – What the heck? Where’s security?

Victoria Hill – I don’t rightly know.

Akame jumps down from the top turnbuckle and walks over to the fan, who jumps down from the ring and begins to run around it. Akame shakes her head and grabs Mozzy Rella and applies the Iron Lock (Stretch muffler with a neck scissors added). Leroy gets in there and checks to see if Mozzy will submit, but he refuses to give up!

The fan in the mask grabs the Valor title belt from Charlotte Anderson and begins running up the aisle until he runs into Vespertine, who decks the fan to level him. She knocks the mask clear off of him to reveal Pauly Q! Vespertine grabs the Valor title belt and walks up to the entrance stage while in the ring, Mozzy Rella taps out.

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via submission and NEW CWF Valor champion…Akame McClancy!

Akame releases Mozzy, who begins to make his way out of the ring and grabs the rising Pauly Q. Akame McClancy looks down the aisle to where Vespertine holds up the Valor championship at the entrance stage for a moment with a smirk before she drops it and exits to the back. That’s when Mozzy Rella picks the title belt up and slaps it to his own chest.

Mozzy Rella – You cheated! I’m still the champ! You’ll have to pry this title from my cold, dead hands!

When Mozzy Rella sees Akame McClancy slide out of the ring and start making her way up the ramp, he and Pauly Q quickly turn to run to the back.

Jessica Carr – Well, Akame is the new champion, though Mozzy still has the actual title belt. How are they going to figure this one out? This is just like what happened with Miguel Lanza when eNVy both stole the belt when he won it.

Victoria Hill – Well, McClancy cheated! You heard him.

Jessica Carr – How? It’s a Valor Title and it’s fought under certain rules. If she was caught cheating, by Leroy Wallace of all people, she would have been disqualified and wouldn’t have won the title.

Both men slip into the tunnel heading to the back, but just as they disappear, they reappear.. Slowly walking backwards.

Victoria Hill – What’s going on?

Slowly following them out, is a large man: 6’ 8” and over 330 lbs, the member of the Upstarts known as Ahklut Thulnaught.

Jessica Carr – And there is the person we know is Akame McClancy’s boyfriend.

Victoria Hill – I have to say, she’s got good taste. Get them twice your size!

As Ahklut stops them from running, Mozzy turns to maybe leave via jumping down the stage. Before he can takes step, someone runs out from the tunnel and dropkicks him with a flury of red hair as she does.

Jesscia Carr- And that’s Fiona O’Connell, the other member of the Upstarts here tonight!

Mozzy falls with the drop kick, and the Valor Championship slips from his hands… sliding across the stage, to come to Akame McClancy’s feet. She bends down and picks it up.

Pauly Q turns to check on Mozzy.

Victoria Hill – What’s going on here?  What just happened?

Jessica Carr – Looks like the Upstarts are not happy with someone trying to steal the Valor title from one of their members again!

Fiona and Ahklut don’t attack more, just stand there. Ahklut points to the back and lets Pauly Q slip past him. As Mozzy gets up, Fiona threatens to punch him, and Mozzy sprints to the back.

Victoria Hill – I have heard at the debut show of Season Five that Jackson Mikaelson was getting the Valor title shot. Maybe they’ll add Mozzy or Vespertine into the match as well? I don’t know. It looked like Vespertine was doing a challenge there.

Both Fiona and Ahklut join up with Akame McClancy who then holds the Title up high on the stage, finally getting her celebration in a CWF Ring.

Jessica Carr – And the Upstarts reclaim the Valor Championship. Akame McClancy wins her first CWF Title.  And, that’s all the time we have tonight. Join us as we go to Chicago next for Tribal Warfare!

Victoria Hill – End of Season Four has arrived! Until we see you again…

Both –  #jointheconquest!
