Season 4 Episode 8 Cards! The CWF Invades Michigan

We find show coming online from the CWF Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, the home of the Conquest Wrestling Federation. We have our commentators from Vanguard, Jessica Carr and Victoria Hill seated and ready to announce the upcoming shows.

Jessica Carr – Good… evening? I’m not sure when this is going live. So good day? And welcome to the card announcements for Episode 8 of Season 4, as we keep heading towards Chicago for Tribal Warfare. I am one half of your announcing team for CWF’s Vanguard… Jessica Carr.

Victoria Hill – And I’m the other half, Victoria Hill. And for this cycle we have 10 matches in total over two nights of action coming to you from the great state of Michigan.

Jessica Carr – We’ll be starting out with our show, Vanguard, coming to you from the Van Andel Arena, in Grand Rapids… bring up the graphics guys.

Capacity: 12,700 CWF Fans

Victoria Hill – Not the biggest arena, but not the smallest we’ve performed in at well. We’re starting the show off with someone who rumor has it… is being looked at by the nKo to join their stable. And that is Darkspade who made his ominous debut on Vanguard in episode 7.

Jessica Carr – He’ll be taking on Mysterion, as is tradition for newer talent in the federation. It might be an easy match for a first timer on our shows, but you only get one chance to make a first impression.

Victoria Hill – From there we’re going to someone who lost to Steve Murdock this last Warzone, Andrew Nero as he gets a shot at someone who has also been on a downcycle in the last few months, the 4 Winds Tempest Champion, “Wicked” Kat Hale. It’s regular wrestling rules this time, so we’ll see just who comes out of this one with a hopefully momentum building win.

Andrew Nero

“Wicked”
Kat Hale

Jessica Carr – And our third match will be the Irish Assassin, Eoin O’Rourke as he faces off against possibly his biggest challenger to date, in the Dreadnaught, Miguel Lanza, Jr. Also two who need a momentum making win, and Vanguard is the Momentum making show.

Victoria Hill – I’m torn on this one. I like my bigger men and O’Rourke has a thing with Murdock, not taking his recent loss well. But I’m leaning towards O’Rourke who needs all the momentum he can muster right now.

Eoin O’Rourke

Miguel Lanza Jr

Jessica Carr – And our fourth match of the night will be something that has been building since Lunar Warfare. Twila Venin made it past Miguel Lanza, and now she’ll be finally getting into the ring with her “muse” Fiona O’Connell.

Victoria Hill – This one I’ll even admit is getting creepy. Twila Venin has been inspired by Fiona O’Connell, and this is going to be a hell of a match. But is it just the first dance? Will it end at first blush, or a crescendo?

Vanguard Match 4

Twila Venin

Jessica Carr – And that takes us to our Vanguard Main Event. The Valor Championship is on the line as Apathy, Elizabeth Deveraux O’Rourke goes for her 4th Valor Title Defense. But this isn’t going to be an easy one for sure.

Victoria Hill – Not that her last defense was easy. She faced Viktor Kriegson on Cycle 7, and it was close. But now she’ll be facing off against Father Nathan O’Connell. A huge challenge and a huge challenger. I personally think we might see a new Valor Champion at the end of the night. I could be wrong, and if I am… who would be facing her on Episode 9 for what would turn into her 5th defense and the chance to claim the prize.

Jessica Carr – Well we have a huge Valor Title match to find that all out for.

Father Nathan O’Connell

Apathy
(Valor Chamion)

Jessica Carr – And that takes us to Warzone, where we’ll be taking over the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. And again, a five match night with TWO more CWF titles on the line.

Victoria Hill – And we’re starting off our show with another Hardcore Rules match staring the Hardcore Icon, Steve Murdock. This time his challenger, Zolothach, making her CWF return after some healing up from injuries… both asked for it to be a hardcore rules match up.

Jessica Carr – And this after his hardcore match this last Warzone and an upcoming… what was it? Stacked Cage match of some sort? Do we know what the challenge was for exactly.

Victoria Hill – Eoin O’Rourke has challenged Steve Murdock to a form of cage match, but I’m personally unsure of the actual rules and style. But we’ll find out. Needless to say, looks like the Hardcore Icon is getting more practice.

Jessica Carr – And our second match could again lead to a huge upset. Samael Drago, the number one contender for the Conquest Championship faced a rare loss on last warzone, handed to him by Madd Morales. Well, now he’s got to face off against the former Elite Champion, someone who has been known to be one of the toughest in the federation, Kara Reinhardt.

Victoria Hill – No woman scares more men on the roster than Ms. Reinhardt. The longest reigning champion in the CWF ever, and by virtue of that, with 404 days as Elite Champion, the longest reigning champion… she’s not an easy obstacle in your path. This last warzone, after losing to Madd Morales, Samael Drago also attacked Morales after the match was over. I’m not sure he’d want to try that with someone who has choked her opponents out before.

Jessica Carr – Deep cut there, but yes. Kara Reinhardt is a former member of the German Army, and has actually choked out an opponent before, when she and her brother won the CWF Tag Team Titles.

Samael Drago

Kara Reinhardt

Victoria Hill – And that leads us to quite possibly the biggest glow up possible in the night. Over the last two shows cycles, Madd Morales has beaten the Elite Champion in a non title match up… earning a shot in the future. But also last Warzone, he beat the number one contender for the CWF Conquest Title. Now he can complete the hat trick.

Jessica Carr – For those who don’t know… in the CWF, all the way back to season 2, it’s been policy that if you beat a champion in a non-title match you get a shot at them… in beating Greg Salazar, he has a shot at the Elite Champion banked, pending… well we’ll get to that. But if he can beat the current, reigning CWF champion, he could be looking at being added to the match against her and Samael Drago at Tribal Warfare.

Victoria Hill – There you have it. Madd Morales with the chance of his career. But up until last Warzone, we might have been talking about how Abby Dresden hasn’t been pinned or forced to submit in a match at all for over a year. Almost a year and a half, since she won the Valor Title and then claimed it’s prize. Even in tag team matches, others have been pinned. But the conquest champion was pinned in a tag team match just last warzone by Dixie Clement. So she’s not invincible.

Jessica Carr – She also got hit like four or five times in the left temple in that match up. So she notably has a weakness. Can Madd Morales capitalize on that?

Madd Morales

Victoria Hill – And that takes us to the first of two title defenses on this edition of Warzone. As eNVy gets their title shot against the nKo’s Gabriel Tuck and Trelisa Perrault.

Jessica Carr – eNVy won this shot and now they’re going to get it. But, are they actually on the same page? Personally I’ll say it, I think Karlie Nash and Dixie Clement had actual tag team chemistry. But they’re getting the shot they won… and you have to admit, after Vespertine not only beat Gabriel Tuck last Warzone, but the beating she gave him after the match… both of them are riding high with what we talked about Vanguard before. They have the momentum, and Tuck and Perrault got some, but have also damn near put on the brakes in the following shows. I’m personally predicting eNVy being the first in teh Eternal Grove to bring home CWF championships here.

Warzone Match 4
Tag Team Match
CWF Tag Team Championship
eNVy
(Vespertine & Karlie Nash)
-VS-
the New Kharnival Order (nKo)
(Gabriel Tuck & Trelisa Perrault)

Victoria Hill – And that leads us to our main event… Gabriel Blight defeated Kronin Reinhardt last Warzone, but he’s already secured a shot at the Elite Champion. And that defense will come up on Episode 8 of Warzone.

Jessica Carr – The former Marine and the former French Legionnaire… so we’ve been told that this match will be what is normally called a Boot Camp Match, No holds barred, hardcore match. The allowed area includes the ringside floor, and the match can only end in that area, not just the ring. But additionally, the only way to win this match up is to make the other person tap out or verbally quit… pinfalls don’t count.

Victoria Hill – So a hardcore submissions match, where you can go anywhere around the ring and ringside area. Got it.

Jessica Carr – Well this could be another night of upsets. Gabriel Blight could turn around and we have a good chance of having a new Elite Champion.

Warzone Match 5

Victoria Hill – The former members of the Future Shock Society face off in our Main Event. Tune in for the 8th Episode Cycle for the CWF.

Jessica Carr – The next thing you’ll see is the information for the show dates. If you’re coming to see us live, tickets are on sale now. If you’re going to be watching, you can do so on our network partners or on the CWF’s Streaming platform.

Victoria Hill – We hope to see you then. In the meantime…

Both – #JoinTheConquest.
