||Vanguard || Season 4 || Episode 9 || Fort Wayne, Indiana||

The show opening starts as the new Vanguard theme for Season 4, “Elevate” by Kingdom Collapse starts to play. It’s quickly followed by the new Season 4 Logo for Vanguard.

The patented CWF drone flyover shows the Scotiabank Arena and a graphic comes up saying that 11, 485CWF Fans have joined us live in the Arena, out of a capacity of just under 13,000 for tonight’s show.

The camera drones show the stage, as fireworks go off, and a banner comes across the screen of the large screen…. “Season 4 Episode 9… On the Warpath to Tribal Warfare!”

The voiceover starts…

Jessica Carr – Good evening, and welcome to the premier wrestling federation’s show, the Conquest Wrestling Federation’s Vanguard. We’re in cycle 9, for episode 9 of our 4th Season, and coming to you from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana tonight. I’m Jessica Carr…

The camera switches to the drone hovering in front of the Announcer’s Desk on a platform near the ring, at ring level.

Victoria HIll – And I’m Victoria Hill. And as my cohort said, we’re on Episode 9. Only one more regular episode after this, and then it’s time to go to Chi-Town for Tribal Warfare. So far that is shaping up to be one of the most consequential shows in CWF history. We found out last Warzone that Bad Company has been contracted to represent Jeremiah Vastrix as they’ll take on the nKo and Armand Von Krauss. Von Krauss’ shares of the CWF ownership being on the line.

Jessica Carr – And Samael Drago will be facing off against the CWF Conquest champion, Abigail Dresden. And we’ve been informed that we’ll be having the actual contract signing for that on Warzone in just a few days.

Victoria HIll – But, lets get to our show tonight. We have TWO championship matches. First our main event… Apathy, Elizabeth Devourox-O’Rourke… the Valor Champion, she is ONE win away from being the third person ever to win the Prize. Tonight is her fifth defense. If she wins, the title will be vacant and she’ll be able to claim a shot at any CWF or 4 Winds Title and that could come as early as Tribal Warfare.

Jessica Carr – She’ll have a hell of a fight though, as she’ll be taking on Twila Venin, who has come in with a lot of momentum… If Apathy manages to get by her maybe strongest challenger to date, then Episode 10 will have a Valor Title scramble to determine a new Valor Champion.

Victoria HIll – Also, the Upstarts have someone getting a shot at a 4 Winds Title tonight, as Fiona O’Connell could join two other Upstarts with 4 Winds Gold. She takes on the Tempest Champion, “Wicked” Kat Hale.

Jessica Carr – Kat Hale has had that Tempest Championship for over a year. She defeated Tetsuo Oni for it back in Season 3. But if Fiona O’Connell wins tonight, then the Upstarts will have the Tempest, Albion, North American, and Dyad titles from the 4 Winds Network in their stable.

Victoria HIll – And on top of that all we’ll have the debut of Alex Nelson, the son of Steve Murdock, the Hardcore Icon. He’ll be taking on Mysterion in his debut match tonight.

Jessica Carr – Speaking of Steve Murdock, on top of that, Eoin O’Rourke will be taking on Abel tonight. And of course Murdock and O’Rourke are on a collision course for Tribal Warfare where they will be fighting in a tiered cage!

Victoria HIll – And… we have a special treat for you, as we’ve been informed that an unannounced match up has been added to the card tonight, a debut match.

Jessica Carr – Hold on, Vicky. I’m being told we’re going to be getting a news update on one of our other talent… Last Warzone, Steve Murdock and Zolothach fought in a huge fight that started at a sporting goods store and made its way to the Arena. Let’s go to a pre-recorded event from earlier today.

Victoria HIll – Well then wrestling action when we come back!

At an undisclosed hospital in Michigan days ago,

“Zolothach” Tabitha Osborne lies in a hospital bed with her blanket covering her lower half while she is in a hospital gown. She is flipping through the pages of an old book. A book that looks to be older than the hospital that she’s in. A nurse walks in with a smile.

Nurse – You have company, Ta – I mean, Zolothach.

Tabitha Osborne – I do? Who could it be?

Tabitha knows who she wants it to be. In her heart of hearts she wants to know that He’s seen her get hospitalized on the show and ran to see how she is. She doesn’t even want to name him out loud for fear it might not be him. Or worse…it COULD be him.

Her face visibly falls when G. Ian Childress walks into the room. He sees her crestfallen expression and chuckles.

G. Ian Childress – I’m not here to fire you, if that’s what you’re thinking.

Tabitha Osborne – No. I just hoped you were…nevermind. You come to check on me? I think I should be out this week so I could be booked if you need me.

G. Ian Childress – I think that’s not going to be possible.

Tabitha Osborne – Oh? Why is that? Steve didn’t die, did he?

G. Ian Childress – No, but you’re lucky he didn’t. As it stands, I’m afraid I’m going to have to suspend you until the new season.

Tabitha lies in her bed, her mouth hanging open in shock for a few moments before she can manage an answer.

Tabitha Osborne – Why is that? Like you just said, he didn’t die!

Geoffrey takes a seat by Tabitha’s side, his visage glum.

G. Ian Childress – We have warned you before. You are not allowed to use supernatural powers during the match!

Tabitha Osborne – Well, I…you see…

G. Ian Childress – Don’t waste a good lie on this, Zolothach. You know you did it, and now you’ll have to serve the time.

Tabitha Osborne – Fine. I’m suspended until the new season. Can I wrestle in other companies until then?

Geoffrey looks at Tabitha a long time before answering.

G. Ian Childress – I don’t run other companies. You can go ahead and do that. Are you looking somewhere?

Tabitha Osborne – There’s an open invite multiperson match in FWA that I might try my hand at. I wasn’t going to actually pull the trigger, but since I can’t compete here now…

G. Ian Childress – Good luck with that. I’m going to get to the arena. Things have been tense of late and I think a show of all three owners being around would be good.

Tabitha Osborne – Good. Don’t trust Armand von Krauss. I was his prisoner once upon a time. Fights to the death at his carnival were commonplace.

G. Ian Childress – I don’t trust him. We might be rid of him soon enough. Goodbye and good luck, Zolothach. I’ll see you in Louisiana when your suspension is up.

Tabitha Osborne – Thank you for coming.

She watches as Geoffrey leaves the room before taking on an angry expression.

Tabitha Osborne – Thrice damned bitch. Suspend me will ya…when I come back, it will be better than ever.

Victoria HIll – And Zolothach is suspended until after Tribal Warfare! I don’t know about this supernatural powers stuff. But She has been warned before…

Jessica Carr – Yes, she has. And I guess that is a show of force with the Owners getting a bit stirred up. The situation with Vastrix and Von Krauss is coming to a head here soon. Come the end of Tribal Warfare, we could have a new boss.

Victoria HIll – Or, Von Krauss could be richer, becoming partial owner of a large corporation.

Jessica Carr – Oh, he’ll be more insufferable then…

Victoria HIll – Well, it’s time for our first match tonight, as Mozzy Rella… Wait did I just read that right? Mozzy Rella? As in the cheese?

Jessica Carr – I don’t know if that’s a typo or a joke, but that’s what the screen says. Mozzy Rella, debuting and taking on “Malibu” Mike Swanson!

Victoria HIll – Let’s go to the ring!

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at 220 pounds…he is Mozzy Rella!

The lights dim and red and blue lights resembling the lights of a police cruiser strobe through the arena. The sound of a single gunshot goes off, then glass breaking followed by a vicious sounding dog barking. Then the bass line beat of Mozzy’s hit song “Kick Door” drops.

Mozzy strolls through the entrance way, beer in hand and a cigarette hanging from the corner of his mouth, wearing a white wife beater tank top and baggy jeans shorts. Around his neck is a diamond encrusted chain with a pendant that says “Mozzy”. The diamonds gleam and twinkle in the reflection of the lights. He shields his eyes from the lights before he takes a long drag from the cigarette then flicks it to the ground and stomps it out. He cracks the beer and takes a huge gulp followed by a loud burp.

*….And you know we gunna kick door….*

Mozzy kicks the air and begins to confidently walk his way down the ramp, drinking his beer and rapping along to his song the whole way down. He stops a few times to play to the crowd and receives mixed reactions.

Mozzy reaches the end of the walkway and takes a long sip of his beer, crunches the can in his hand and then drop kicks the crumpled can into the crowd.

*….You a runt, Im a big dog, and I wish your ass would like a big log….*

Mozzy stumbles while climbing the steps to the ring, he trips while trying to figure out how to step through the ropes, he throws a few shadow boxing punches into the air and raises his arms up. Mozzy slips his diamond chain over his head and kisses the pendant then raises the chain up into the air facing towards the crowd. He carefully places the chain on the mat under the turnbuckles and behind the ropes in a corner of the ring.

*….And you know we gonna kick door….

Jessica Carr – Really? We’re coming down to our own music now?

Victoria HIll – That music is his?

Jessica Carr – Yeah, this guy is a rap artist who thinks he can wrestle.

Victoria HIll – Oh my. Can he at least fight?

Jessica Carr – The going word is no.

Victoria HIll – Then, how did he get booked?

Jessica Carr – We will have to ask Valora Salinas about that one.

Victoria HIll – Alright. I’m not doing that. Let’s see how he does.

Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, weighing in at 165 pounds…he is “Malibu” Mike Swanson!

“California Girls” by the Beach Boys begins playing as Malibu Mike walks out from the back to the cheering of the fans. He waves to the fans before heading down to the ring with a wide grin. He rolls into the ring and begins eyeballing Mozzy Rella, sizing him up. Mozzy Rella looks at Malibu Mike with a grin and grabs the microphone from Marcela Sancho as she leaves the ring. He motions to the back, and music starts playing?

Jessica Carr – Did he…just sing in the ring? Is this a concert now?

Victoria HIll – If you can call that singing? Then, yes. He just sang about kicking his opponent’s butt.

Mozzy Rella drops the mic after the impromptu song and walks up to Malibu Mike and punches him in the face as the bell sounds to start the match. Malibu Mike just sort of blinks at Mozzy Rella, who shakes his hand as if he had hurt it. Mike kicks Mozzy in the gut and applies a front-face lock.

The rapper tries hard to get out of the move, eventually pushing Mike into a corner and sticking his hands out through the ropes. This causes referee Troy Reynolds to make Mike break the hold. Mozzy Rella backs away a few steps as Mike walks out of the corner and goes in again. This time with a knife edge chop to the chest! The crowd wooos, but that turns into laughter as Mozzy Rella begins jumping up and down in the ring while holding his hand that he used to hit Mike with.

Jessica Carr – What’s going on here?

Victoria HIll – Does he have any formal training in wrestling or fighting?

Jessica Carr – It doesn’t say on his profile anything about any formal training.

Victoria HIll – That’s…that’s going to be a problem.

Mozzy Rella complains to Troy Reynolds, insisting that Malibu Mike is wearing armor. Troy looks at Mike, who shrugs as Mike is topless in the ring. Mozzy Rella rushes Malibu Mike and kicks him in the gut, turning over the wrestler with a snap suplex performed passably. He goes for the quick cover. Troy gets into position, but before he can start the count…Mike kicks out!

Mozzy gets back to his feet and watches for a moment as Mike gets up. He grins real quick and is like ‘watch me” before he runs at the ropes and leaps at them, clearly intending to do a springboard move of some type, but he misses the ropes totally. He lands on the middle rope by his midsection and is just sort of hanging there. When Mike looks over at Mozzy, he laughs and runs to hit a drop kick to the face that sends Mozzy from the ring,

Jessica Carr – That’s going to be a bit of a setback.

Victoria HIll – Yeah. I wonder if he’s going to get up from that mistake?

Mozzy Rella is slow to get back up, but then ducks suddenly as Malibu Mike comes sailing over the top rope in a suicide dive. Mike crashes into the security railing while Mozzy stands up with a penny in his hand! He looks at the crashed Mike with an OMG expression and rolls into the ring as the count begins to count them both out.

Mike gets up and rolls into the ring where he is set upon by Mozzy Rella with stomps and kicks. Mike manages to get to his feet, but Mozzy brings him back down to the mat with a triple kick. A Kick to the thigh, then the ribs, then the head. Mozzy waits for Mike to get back up and sends him right back to the mat with a superkick that he calls Kick Door! He goes for the cover, Troy Reynolds getting into position.

….one

……two

……..thr- Mike kicks out!

Jessica Carr – Mike is hanging in there as Mozzy Rella gets off some offense.

Victoria HIll – Mozzy doesn’t look good in there, but he is hitting some of his marks.

Jessica Carr – Yeah, he’s made some mistakes, but overall isn’t bad.

Victoria HIll – Maybe with some more training, he could be good.

Mozzy waits for Mike to get up and goes in for the RKO he calls “Burn Out”, but as he goes in for this, Mike kicks him in the gut, grabs him by the back of the head, and goes to sit out while bringing Mozzy’s face to the mat for a bit of a smash! Mike gets back to his feet and stomps Mozzy a few times before pulling him to his feet and whipping him into the ropes and clotheslining him to the mat on the rebound. He goes for the quick pinfall!

….one

……two

……..thr-Mozzy kicks out!

Mike kneels up and looks at Troy Reynolds, who holds up two fingers. Mike nods and goes to the ropes himself, coming back with a legdrop!

Jessica Carr – Malibu Mike on a tear!

Victoria HIll – That happens when your opponent doesn’t really know what to do and is undertrained.

Mike gets Mozzy up and signals to the crowd that he’s going to go for his finisher, the Malibu Mash Facebuster when we see Pauly Q run down to the ring unnoticed. He rolls a microphone into the ring and jumps up onto the ring apron, drawing the attention of both Troy Reynolds and Malibu Mike.

Pauly Q – Hey, hey! I think my man, Mike, here is steroided!

While his attention is on Pauly Q, Mozzy picks up the microphone and bashes Mike in the back of the head with it. He quickly stuffs the microphone down the front of his pants and climbs to the top rope. He almost falls off of the turnbuckles, but manages to steady himself. He does a front flip into a leg drop in a move that he calls Rella Off Da Rope! He goes for the cover as Pauly Q drops down and motions to the in-ring action. He dives to make the count.

….one

……two

……..three!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Mozzy Rella!

Mozzy Rella jumps to his feet in surprise and celebrates with his arms in the air. He then pulls the microphone from his pants and begins to sing to new music!

Malibu Mike heads to the back while shaking his head as Mozzy Rella sings in the ring. The crowd boos and begin raining garbage in the ring. Once the song is finished, Mozzy Rella and Pauly Q make their way to the back under this vile hail of half-full cups, bottles, cans, and other food garbage.

Victoria HIll – And a winning debut match, but I’m not sure the fans like him.

Jessica Carr – Oh, I’m sure they don’t… look at that garbage being tossed on him. We’ll have to get someone to clean the rampway up during our first commercial break.

The show comes back from commercial, and the camera is on Marcela Sancho, in the ring. The announcers come in via voice over.

Jessica Carr – Welcome back to Vanguard. We’re ready for our next match up, as Alex Nelson in his debut match up against MYSTERION!

Victoria HIll – Mysterion is coming up as being the only wrestler still in the CWF for all 4 seasons.  Let’s see how he does against the newcomer!

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first, the challenger, weighing in at 200 pounds…he is Alex Nelson!

The opening guitar licks of “The End” play and the lights in the arena strobe off and one as Alex Nelson walks down from the entry way to the ring, shadow boxing along the way, rolling in from the bottom rope, he poses with his hands in the air in the middle of the ring and then goes to his corner, waiting…

Jessica Carr – Well, Alex seems ready to mix it up in the ring.

Victoria HIll – Do we have a word on when his father will be ready to come back?

Jessica Carr – I was hearing: next cycle, but that’s probably not true since he was hurt pretty badly.

Victoria HIll – And his opponent was as well, and was suspended from in-ring action for a little while.

Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, weighing in at 215 pounds…he is Mysterion!

The houselights lower and a spotlight falls on the stage, highlighting the entrance from the back. Everything slowly falls silent until an electronically distorted voice sounds over the PA;

“WHO… IS… MYSTERION?!”

“Basket Case” by Offspring kicks off at a deafening volume and strobe lights suddenly start flashing crazily, as though controlled by a kid with ADHD on a sugar rush. Fireworks tear off into the rafters, flooding the empty upper stadium in light. The excitement levels of the crowd grows.. Surely an entrance such as this alludes a someone.. a BIG someone! Suddenly that distorted voice sounds again as it once more asks;

“WHO… IS… MYSTERION?!”

A spray of sparks erupt either side of the stage and a man bursts through onto the stage, the voice sticks to a loop, repeating the words;

“HE… IS… MYSTERION… HE… IS… MYSTERION… HE… IS… MYSTERION…”

The spotlight refocuses on the animated, excited wrestler to reveal…Santa Claus!

Mysterion comes out from the back dressed as a masked Santa Claus, complete with a big black sack over his shoulder. He walks toward the ring, handing out gifts along the way until his sack is empty. He steps into the ring, the crowd cheering like crazy for the masked wrestler.

Jessica Carr – Santa Claus just…emptied his sack…on the crowd.

Victoria HIll – You really went there?

Jessica Carr – It was funny!

Victoria HIll – Ok, it was funny.

The bell sounds to start the match and Alex Nelson runs across the ring, eager to start the match. Mysterion holds up a hand that stops Alex in his tracks. He reaches into his empty sack one more time and comes up with a present. A small package that he hands Alex, who looks confused, but accepts the gift. Mysterion silently motions for Alex to open the box. Alex looks to the crowd, who also encourage him to open the box with their cheering.

Alex tears apart the wrapping paper and opens the box to reveal a stethoscope. Alex looks at Mysterion Santa with wide eyes and motioning, “Is this for me?” Mysterion nods to the affirmative and Alex puts the set around his neck like they do when wearing it. Mysterin takes the time to punch Alex in the mug a few times before lifting him up and bodyslamming him to the mat!

Jessica Carr – What a thoughtful gift! A gift that was a ploy to get the jump on him?

Victoria HIll – It was brilliant!

Alex rolls away to his feet, dropping the stethoscope to the mat. He charges Mysterion and clotheslines him to the mat before grabbing him by the legs and kicking him in the hamstrings! He then applies an Indian Deathlock. Referee Georgina Ross checks to see if he will surrender, but he does not.

They are near the ropes so when Mysterion is able to grab the bottom rope, Georgina has Alex break the hold. Alex complies, standing up and watching Mysterion slowly get up. He quickly grabs the Santa and hits a cradle piledriver before going for the cover.

….one

……two

……..thr-Mysterion kicks out!

Alex kneels up and pulls Mysterion up, slipping behind him and applying the AXU (Coquina Clutch), dropping to his back to drag Mysterion down. It doesn’t take long for Mysterion to be out cold, Gerorgina checking his arm three times to be sure. Alex Nelson stands up and raises his arms in victory.

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match…Alex Nelson!

While Alex is still celebrating, Eoin O’Rourke slips into the ring with a steel chair and a long string of lights wrapped around his shoulder. He taps Alex on the shoulder, who turns around.

*CRACK!*

Eoin lays Alex out with the steel chair and then sets the chair up in a corner?

Jessica Carr – What’s going on? Eoin’s beef isn’t with Alex?

Victoria HIll – The family of your enemy is fair game?

Jessica Carr – That’s monstrous!

Victoria HIll – Well, Steve isn’t around to get this treatment.

Eoin sets the bleeding Alex up in the steel chair and ties him up with the length of lights. He throws the end of the lights down to a stage hand, who plugs it in so that the length of the lights lights up in many different flashing colors. He slaps Alex, who starts to come to.

Eoin O’Rourke – Guess who gets to be a guest for my next match, SON?

Alex Nelson – You’re not my dad! Let me go!

Eoin O’Rourke – You’re not in a position to say boo, and dear old dad is in a hospital in Michigan. So, for the moment, you belong to me…

Alex Nelson – When I get out of here, I will kick your ass so bad that your wife won’t recognize you!

Eoin O’Rourke – That might be, but not today. Bring Abel down! Let’s get this show going!

Jessica Carr – Despite Eoin making commands, we’re going to take a break before we get to the next match as Eoin takes on Abel.

Victoria HIll – Guess Eoin needs no introduction.

Jessica Carr – You would be correct.

Victoria HIll – I most always am.

The show comes back from commercial break, and again the cameras are on the ring, where Eion O’Rourke had come out at the end of the previous match up and is already in the ring.

Jessica Carr – Welcome back again, and we’re about to get into our third match of the night, as Eoin O’Rourke, who attacked Alex Nelson in his debut match before the break, is already in the ring to square off against Abel.

Victoria HIll – A heinous attack, but you know all’s fair and all that. I think Marcela is ready to get this match up started!

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first in this corner…Eoin O’Rourke!

No music plays as Eoin raises his hand to the boos of the crowd. Also in his corner, Alex Nelson struggles to break free of being bound to a steel chair, but cannot free himself.

Jessica Carr – Shouldn’t security come down and deal with this?

Victoria HIll – You would think so, but they have not done so.

Marcela Sancho – And coming down to the ring now, weighing in at 345 pounds…he is Abel!

“Dawn of the Frost Giants” by Havamal begins playing as Abel steps out from the back. The crowd gives him a mixed reaction as they are used to booing him, but he is the lesser evil here so there are some cheers.

Jessica Carr – So, around Lunar Warfare, Abel went blue. Not like blue outfit, but like a giant smurf or avatar guy. I don’t recall if that’s paint or if he made it all permanent.

Victoria HIll – Well, tattoos can’t be yanked off in an attack like when those three assholes attacked him in the back to unmask him.

Jessica Carr – True, but this is rather extreme.

Victoria HIll – He’s apparently a frost giant now. I don’t get it, but he can do him.

Abel makes his way down to the ring where referee Leroy Wallace meets him. Abel points to Alex Nelson while standing in front of Leroy.

Abel – He can’t be here for the match! He’ll be in the way!

Jessica Carr – That makes sense.

Victoria HIll – Yeah, but now Leroy is talking to Eoin.

Leroy walks over to Eoin, pointing at Alex.

Leroy Wallace – You can’t have him here, man. What if he gets hurt during your match?

Eoin motions for him to come closer. When Leroy dos, Eoin slips him several hundred dollar bills.

Eoin O’Rourke – Think of him as office furniture.

Leroy pockets the cash and walks over to Abel.

Leroy Wallace – He’s not going to get involved in the match and he’s fine if he gets hurt. Wrestle around him, man.

Abel just shakes his head and meets Eoin in the center of the ring as the bell sounds to start the match.

Jessica Carr – Did Eoin pay Leroy off?

Victoria HIll – Live and on camera. Yes.

Jessica Carr – I would say that’s unusual, but I think it’s business as usual where Leroy is concerned.

Victoria HIll – Yeah. I’m shocked he hasn’t retired like the first head referee was.

Jessica Carr – Depends on whom he crosses, I suppose.

Victoria HIll – True that.

Eoin and Abel stand not quite nose to nose as Abel towers over Eoin, but Eoin smiles anyway.

Eoin O’Rourke – Guess what?

Abel – What?

Eoin O’Rourke – Hardcore match.

Eoin blasts Abel in the jaw with a pair of brass knuckles, sending him staggering back to where he uses the ropes to be able to remain standing. Abel clutches at his jaw, but Eoin is on him in a heartbeat. He grabs the blue man by the shoulder and begins to pepper him with shots to the ribcage before bodyslamming him in the center of the ring. He walks around Abel and looks at Alex real quick.

Eoin O’Rourke – You like that, SON?

Alex Nelson – Shut up! You’re not my father!

Eoin just laughs and hits a falling fist to the side of Abel’s face with the brass knuckles.

Jessica Carr – Is he planning on doing more than a single wrestling move tonight?

Victoria HIll – Evidently not.

Eoin watches as Abel gets back to his feet and kicks him in the knee to bring him down to eye level. Mind there isn’t too much difference between the two’s height, but Abel is still nearly six inches taller than the 6’5” Eoin. He grabs Abel by the shoulders and delivers a few stunning headbutts before tossing him to the side. Eoi walks around the fallen Abel and kicks him in the face, sending blood and spittle across the ring mat. He glances at Alex, who gives him a sullen glare.

Eoin O’Rourke – See how I’m going to take apart your daddy?

Alex Nelson – He’ll eat you for lunch!

Eoin O’Rourke – Yeah? I’m going to feed him this!

Eoin kicks Abel again so that he’s on his back and perches on his chest so he can rain down brass knuckle shots until the weapon is bloodied and a pool is beginning to form by Abel’s head. He stands up and walks over to Alex.

Eoin O’Rourke – Look at what your father will be like.

Alex Nelson – No!

Eoin grabs Alex by the hair and head to turn him to look at the fallen Abel.

Eoin O’Rourke – I said fookin’ look at him!

When Abel starts to stir, Eoin dropped the brass knuckles and helps Abel up so that he can hit the powerbomb lungblower that is the Irish Car Bomb. He goes for the cover as Abel lays on the mat and bleeds like a stuck pig.

….one

……two

……..three!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Eoin O’Rourke!

Jessica Carr – Eoin with a dominating win tonight by bribing the ref into making it a hardcore match as well as allowing the distraction that was Alex Nelson stay in the ring.

Victoria HIll – Leroy got bills, ya know.

Eoin walks over to Alex, picking the brass knuckles up.

Eoin O’Rourke – We could do this the easy way or the hard way. Either way, you’re going with me.

Alex Nelson – I refuse to –

Eoin blasts Alex in the side of the head with the bloody brass knuckles, knocking him right out.

Eoin O’Rourke – The easy way it is.

Eoin unties Alex and rolls him to the side of the ring, where he rolls out and tosses Alex over his shoulder to carry away through the crowd.

Jessica Carr – So…Eoin is kidnapping talent, and that’s just okay?

Victoria HIll – I guess so.

Jessica Carr – Well then. Next up we have the 4WW Tempest championship on the line as Fiona O’Connell takes on the champion, Wicked Kat Hale!

Victoria HIll – That’s going to be a heck of a match. And as we don’t have to wait for Eoin O’Rourke to go to the back, we’re going to go ahead and get moved onto this match up. Will the Upstarts claim a new 4 Winds Championship? Or will Kat Hale continue to be the 2nd longest reigning 4 Winds Champion.

Jessica Carr – Oh, wait… that’s right. Abby Dresden, our Conquest Champion was the inaugural Albion Champion, and still is.

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the 4WW Tempest championship! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at 135 pounds…she is Fiona O’Connell!

As ‘Blood’ by Dropkick Murphys plays over the PA, Fiona comes out from the back very much like a boxer, jogging in place, hopping from one foot to the other. She is clearly singing along with her entrance song but no mics pic up her voice and she lets loose a lightning fast flurry of punches before holding up her right hand into the air. Her Mother, Tera, stands behind her and Fiona makes her way to the ring slowly, stopping to shake hands with fans and as the fans cheer, she seems to feed off their energy and then, finally makes her way to the ring where she climbs in and throws another combination of punches and then moves to a corner and waits for her opponent

Jessica Carr – Fiona has had a run of bad luck of late. Good matches, but winds up on the losing end for a lot of her title opportunities.

Victoria HIll – And the last time these two faced in the ring, Fiona was the loser. It was for the Valor title though.

Jessica Carr – And Fiona had to go through several opponents before she even got to Kat. This time it’s one on one.

Victoria HIll – Yeah. I think that will make a difference tonight.

Marcela Sancho – And her opponent, weighing in at 140 pounds, she is the 4WW Tempest champion…”Wicked” Kat Hale!

The lights begin flashing green, blue, and red as the initial jingle of “Nemo” by Nightiwsh starts. Kat delays hitting the stage for those initial seven seconds.

She comes out wearing a black leather jacket that stops at her mid-drift, and she comes out with high energy. Throwing up the rock and roll devil horns a few times. Before moving to either side of the stage to engage with the crowd. Pointing towards them and then starting to make her way down to the ring. She’ll continue interacting with fans near the ramp. High-fiving and occasionally pausing to throw up devil horns with other members of the audience.

She makes her way to the south side of the ring, jumps onto the apron, and throws her hands out to either side to pose for the audience. Then, slipping under the middle rope moves to the opposite end of the ring. Climbing on to the middle rope of the turnbuckle, she’ll rock up and down with her head down, covering the top rope until rising and flipping her hair back over her shoulders and pose with her arms spread once again. Pointing to members of the audience.

At last, she’ll step down and strip off her jacket and 4WW Tempest championship belt. She tosses the jacket into a corner and the belt to the referee, Ashley Beaton. She sits on the top turnbuckle while waiting for the bell to be sounded to start the match.

Jessica Carr – Kat’s defended the title once since defeating Tetsuo Oni for the title last year and that was against the overweight Sheik, who threw the title shot when he had her attacked during the match.

Victoria HIll – Yeah, that was a flub of a match. The Sheik shouldn’t have been allowed to go into the match since he was overweight.

Jessica Carr – Now, Fiona is under the weight limit and under Kat’s weight as well.

Victoria HIll – They are pretty close in weight, only a five-pound difference.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Kat Hale hops down from the turnbuckle and meets Fiona O’Connell in the center of the ring. Fiona throws a jab, but Kat deflects it. She then throws a dozen more jabs, connecting with more than a few of them to send Kat staggering backward. Fiona rushes at Kat, but Kat grabs her and whips her into the ropes while following. She hits a knee into the midsection, flipping her over onto her back. Kat quickly goes for a falling elbow, but Fiona rolls out of the way.

Fiona gets up and meets Kat with a headscissors takeover, sending her back down to the mat. She grabs Kat by the legs and applies an Irish Cloverleaf. Ashley Beaton goes to check to see if Kat will give up, but she refuses. Kat stretches out and manages to get a hold of the bottom rope so that Ashley can tell have Fiona break the hold.

Jessica Carr – Fiona is starting the match aggressively.

Victoria HIll – Has to in order to take Kat down and claim that title.

Fiona gets up and watches as Kat starts to get up. She grabs at Kat, but gets pulled into a jawbreaker! Kat jumps to her feet as Fiona is slower to get up and nails her with a pele kick! She follows this up with a snap ddt, driving Fiona’s head into the mat.

Kat walks over to the ropes, grabs the top rope, and jumps up to the middle rope so that she can do a springboard moonsault, but Fiona moves out of the way!

Jessica Carr – Kat keeps taking risks to try to end the match, but she’s not hitting any of them. What gives?

Victoria HIll – She’s getting desperate to hold onto something, anything. Her victories are becoming slimmer and now her title is being threatened.

Fiona gets up to her feet and watches as Kat gets up, she connects with a Celtic Spike DDT and jumps up to go to the top rope. She steadies herself and leaps through the air to hit the 5 Star Frog Splash that she calls Death From Above! She hooks the leg!

….one

……two

……..three!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match and NEW 4WW Tempest champion…Fiona O’Connell!

Jessica Carr – And Fiona has earned her first title!

Victoria HIll – Yep. Kat Hale is making her way to the back, looking dejected for her defeat.

Jessica Carr – Well, someone has to lose. Sucks that it was her.

Victoria HIll – True that. I wonder what’s next for Kat Hale?

Jessica Carr – Well, we’re going to take a quick break and when we come back, the last Valor championship defense for Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke! Win or lose, she drops the title tonight!

Victoria HIll – I wonder if Twila is going to walk away with the title or if we are going to owe Apathy a title shot!

Jessica Carr – Stay tuned!

The show comes back from commercial break with the cameras in the back.

Victoria HIll – Welcome back. We’ve been told we have something going on backstage, before our final match up of the night.

All is in darkness in the women’s locker room except for a red light shining off in the corner somewhere, we see Venin, Madragora, and Frost talking in the corner when suddenly Vespertine appears within what little red light there is in the room, and she comes floating over, black rose in hand. She goes up to the three demented women in the corner and stops… a few feet from them. She slightly nods her head at them. They stop talking and look at her. There is a Vampire meet Werewolf type of vibe in the room. Just checking for now, not friend, not really foe either, but strangers and trying to figure out what kind of strangers they are to each other. As the stare down continues, it is, however, Vespertine who breaks the silence and stretches her hand out to Venin, black rose held forth.

Vespertine –  I came to return your flower. I assume it’s from your garden. Like the magic. Like the look. Almost like looking into a mirror. Except not. Sooooo…. let’s hope we meet soon because I can’t wait for evil to meet chaos. My evil to your chaos. The difference is I don’t bother to confuse people and while I’m supernatural like you, I don’t bother scaring people. I let my actions do the talking in the ring and they see how dangerous the supernatural can be.

They look at each other and Venin slides forward to look her right in the eye, nose to nose. Vespertine doesn’t flinch but again is the first to talk.

Vespertine –  I’m not assuming your obsession with Fiona is anywhere near over. You’ve seen the rest of the roster. You see how boring and bland they all are and can be. But, you and I, we can go scary and crazy and fucking nuts and do whatever we want, going where ever we want without fear of reprisal. My soul was taken a long time. Yours is shriveled and almost dead so you’ll have no qualms about going extreme. I have responded to your challenge, do I get to name the match type? Maybe have Armand build a wheel so we can spin it and make the deal.

There is a beat, a pregnant pause as the two female demons appraise each other before Twila answers in that Venin way she does.

Twila Venin (soft, almost cheerful) – Ohhh… you brought it back.

She reaches out slowly, but instead of taking the rose, she gently taps the stem with one finger, watching it sway.

Twila Venin – That’s polite. Most people just step on my flowers.

She finally takes the rose. Turns it in her hands. Smiles.

Twila Venin – You’re right, though… it does feel familiar. Like déjà vu. Like hearing a song you don’t remember learning the words to.

She steps closer, not nose-to-nose, but just inside Vespertine’s space. Close enough to be felt.

Twila Venin – But don’t mistake me, Vespertine. I’m not confused.

A pause. Twila’s smile sharpens — playful, not cruel.

Twila Venin – I know exactly who I am.

Madame Mandragora shifts slightly behind her, clipboard pressed to her chest. Observing.

Twila Venin – You scare them by being inevitable. I scare them by being honest.

Twila gently tucks the rose behind her own ear, thorns and all.

Twila Venin – And honesty is terrifying.

She glances briefly at Frost/Yrsa — a silent check — then back to Vespertine.

Twila Venin – As for Fiona… Stories end when they end. I don’t chase ghosts anymore.

A beat.

Twila Venin – But storms? Storms are different.

She laughs softly.

Twila Venin – Now this… this is interesting.

Twila circles Vespertine once — slow, deliberate, theatrical — then stops in front of her again.

Twila Venin – You want to name the match?

She claps once, delighted.

Twila Venin – Please. Spin the wheel. Break the rules. Let Armand build something that shouldn’t exist.

Her tone drops — not threatening, just certain.

Twila Venin – Because when we meet in that ring… It won’t just be evil versus chaos.

She leans in just enough for the camera to catch her eyes.

Twila Venin – It’ll be truth… versus Inevitability.

Twila steps back, gives Vespertine a small, mocking bow.

Twila Venin – And whatever survives… gets to keep the story.

Madame Mandragora finally speaks, calm, clinical.

Madame Mandragora – Terms can be negotiated. Outcomes less so.

Twila beams at that.

Twila Venin – See you soon, mirror-girl.

Vespertine –  Death by diva, my sweet.

The lights flicker. Vespertine remains as Twila turns away, humming the lullaby under her breath as she rejoins her corner. Vespertine puts fist to palm, and they watch as she partially bows to them but keeps an eye on them at the same time, then turns and walks back into the darkness from whence she came.

Victoria HIll – Oh, that should be an interesting match up. But maybe Vespertine should concentrate on defending her Tag Team Titles with her teammate, Karlie Nash and not pissing off others?

Jessica Carr – Or could Twila Venin find a tag team partner and challenge for the tag team titles?

Victoria HIll – Well first… Valor Title Challenge. This match will decide a lot of things for the next couple of shows for the CWF.

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at 134 pounds, she is Twila Venin!

The arena lights dim—not to darkness, but to a deep, bruised violet.

A soft, distorted lullaby begins to play… sweet at first, almost comforting—until the bass drops and the sound warps, layered with faint laughter and whispered voices that echo through the building.

Venom In The Lullaby.

On the screen, static flickers into view: hand-drawn flowers bleeding ink, cracked mirrors, spiderwebs stitched with glittering thread. The words “You’re safe now” appear… then glitch violently into “ARE YOU SURE?”

A single white spotlight snaps on.

Twila Venin stands at the top of the ramp.

She’s upright now—no crawling, no hiding—head tilted, eyes wide with delighted curiosity as she takes in the crowd. Her gothic gear gleams under the lights, thorn-embroidered latex catching flashes of sparkle as if she’s already been dusted in glitter. Venom-green lipstick curls into a knowing smile.

She lifts one hand and gives a slow, exaggerated wave.

The crowd responds—cheers mixed with uneasy laughter.

Twila presses a finger to her lips, listening. Feeling them.

She skips forward once… twice… then breaks into a graceful, off-kilter twirl, spinning down the ramp like a ballerina who learned to dance in a haunted house. Halfway down, she stops, crouches low, and looks directly into the hard camera—eyes bright, mischievous, alive.

She mouths silently:

“Did you miss me?”

At the ring, Twila slides under the bottom rope and rises smoothly to her feet. She climbs a corner turnbuckle, standing tall, arms spread wide—not in menace, but invitation. The lights briefly flicker red… then settle back into violet as black rose petals drift down from above.

Twila laughs softly, basking in the reaction, then hops down and leans back against the ropes, stretching like someone perfectly at home in the chaos.

She doesn’t stalk.

She doesn’t threaten.

She belongs.

As the lullaby reaches its distorted crescendo, Twila taps her temple, points out toward the crowd, and then traces a heart over her own chest before stepping to the center of the ring—ready to fight, ready to play, ready to make them feel something.

Jessica Carr – There’s something different about Twila tonight.

Victoria HIll – I heard she’s on some kind of sanity juice.

Jessica Carr – Sanity juice? And what does that do for ya?

Victoria HIll – Why, it keeps a person from being bat-shit crazy.

Marcela Sancho – And her opponent, weighing in at 220 pounds, is the CWF Valor champion, and this is her final defense of the title…she is “Apathy” Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke!

The sound of a vintage picture reel began to click and pop, the screen illuminating up counting down like a picture show. The pops, scratches, nicks and debris covered the screen, the numbers counting down, 5…4….3….2….1….as the reel continued, the faint familiar sound of a text message being composed. The tell tale sound of clicks followed by the sound of a message received. The demonic, distorted voice of SKYND creeps through “You’re gonna have to prove me wrong”. On the screen, a barrage of action shots, in still form from Apathy’s career, centered and fixated, like an old film would. As the arena went down, red and white lights bathing the fans in a sea of color, Elizabeth rises from beneath the stage, head lowered, arms outstretched. A mixed chorus of boos, jeers and cheers pelted at her. She gradually raises her head, soaking in the animosity and fervent support. Inhaling it like a drug

##I love you, now die
I love you, now die

I love you, now die

I love you, now##

As the heavy bass kicks in and the words of the chorus reverberate through the arena, she snaps her head up, a cocky self-assured smirk creeping across her lips as she saunters her way to the ring casually engaging towards the fans either encouraging more of their venomous verbal harassment or acknowledging the respect and adoration from her legions and devotees, basking in the glow

##Go, in your truck and drive in a parking lot

Do it early, do it now

Do it early, do it now

Go, just park and sit there in your car

It will take twenty minutes

It will take twenty minutes##

##Go, in your truck and drive in a parking lot

Do it early, do it now

o it early, do it now

Go, just park and sit there in your car

It will take twenty minutes

It will take twenty minutes##

As the perverse and twisted sound of SKYND’s auto tuned verbal melody pulsates through the speakers, Elizabeth stops at the base of the walkway, grinning from ear to ear as she playfully mouths the words, “It will take 20 minutes”, holding up two fingers and flashing them forwards and backwards as she says “20 minutes”, then rushes the apron, hopping up and catapulting herself over the top rope, rolling through to the far side of the ring and climbing the turnbuckle and extending her arms, bowing aristocratically and smugly as her coup de grace.

Jessica Carr – This is going to be Apathy’s greatest challenge yet, and she still says she will be done in twenty minutes?

Victoria HIll – She thinks that she can beat everyone in under twenty minutes. How often has she been right?

Jessica Carr – Not very often, I don’t believe.

Victoria HIll – So, this is just bravado.

As the bell sounds to start the match, Twila Venin and Apathy begin to circle around one another while looking for an opening by which to strike. Twila tilts her head, studying Apathy before Apathy goes in for a collar-elbow lock-up.

Apathy uses her brute strength and heavier frame to push Twila back into the corner. Referee Scott Jones gets between the two to break the hold. Apathy backs away for a moment, but when Scott gets out of the way, lunges in to strike Twila with a European uppercut that knocks her back into the corner. She perches onto the bottom rope and rains down punches on Twila before getting down at Scott Jones’ yelling. She hip tossesTwila out of the corner and toward the middle of the ring. Twila starts to get up, but catches a knee strike to the face that knocks her back down.

Jessica Carr – Apathy not letting this match get away from her.

Victoria HIll – No, she’s on top of Twila.

Jessica Carr – She’s working to complete the five defenses. Gotta be sure.

Victoria HIll – Expect Apathy to be calculating about this.

Twila sits up in a cross-legged position and looks at Apathy while tilting her head. She wipes at blood trickling from the corner of her mouth and smiles.

Jessica Carr – Still insane. You would think she would be afraid of what’s to come.

Victoria HIll – She’s not afraid… she’s learning.

Twila stands up and Apathy is on her with some knife edge chops that the crowd “Woos” along with each chop. Twila takes the chops, biting down on her wrist to endure the pain before snapping a headbutt against Apathy that rocks her backward a few steps. Twila follows up with a lunge into a spear, taking Apathy down to the mat. Twila hooks a leg real quick and goes forthe cover! Scott Jones gets into position for the count!

….one

……two

……..thr-Apathy kicks out!

Twila kneels up and looks at Scott Jones with a smile. Scott looks back at her and simply shows two fingers to signify that there was only a two-count.

Twila stands up and pulls Apathy to her feet, but Apathy punches her in the throat! Twila falls to her knees while clutching at her throat, and Scott Jones reprimands Apathy for the blow. Apathy shrugs and pulls Twila up into a lungblower!

Jessic Carr – Apathy laying the smackdown tonight!

Victoria HIll – Yeah, she’s going for that title shot!

Apathy pulls Twila up and whips her into the ropes. On the rebound, she goes for a clothesline, but Twila ducks under the outstretched arm and goes to the ropes again. On the next rebound, Twila goes for the high cross bodyblock, but Apathy catches her and powerslams her to the mat!

Apathy gets up and goes to the ropes a Twila starts to get up. Apathy charges across the ring and jumps forward before Twila can react to kick her in the face! Twila goes down hard, blood spraying across the mat from the impact in a move she calls Guillotine’s Kiss.

Jessica Carr – Vicious kick there.

Victoria HIll – Gotta be to keep Twila down.

Jessica Carr – Madame Mandragora quietly taking notes. I don’t think she will interfere in this match.

Victoria HIll – I don’t think so either. Even if it becomes required.

Jessica Carr – Required? That would break the rules.

Victoria HIll – Ink on paper.

Apathy pulls Twila into a sitting position and applies a reverse chin lock, cranking on the pressure. Scott Jones checks to see if Twila will submit, but she laughs in the face of pain. Apathy continues to hold the move, but then a few whispered words causes her to break the hold. Apathy meets Twila’s gaze as the smaller girl slowly gets up, realizing that she won’t simply break. Twila sees Apathy and realizes that she just won’t stop.

Jessica Carr – This looks like an “Aha!” moment.

Victoria HIll – Indeed.

There’s no taunting between the two. No words. Just an acknowledgement of talent. Apathy reaches for Twila, who grabs her by the legs and pulls them out from beneath her. Twila goes for a quick forward flip, landing her butt on Apathy’s chest. She bridges back to gather Apathy’s legs and sits up for the pinfall!

….one

……two

……..thre-Apathy kicks out!

Twila wastes no time with the referee, getting up and watching Apathy for a moment before grabbing her by the arm and placing a foot in Apathy’s armpit before falling back while pulling on the arm! There’s a pop and a near shriek of pain from Apathy as her shoulder is dislocated.

Jessica Carr – Not good for the champion.

Victoria HIll – Not a bit.

Twila Venin climbs to the top rope and steadies herself, but while she climbs, Apathy slams her shoulder into the mat to relocate it. Twila waits for Apathy to get up and leaps from the top rope to try to catch Apathy around the head to do a ddt, but Apathy catches her and bodyslams her to the mat with the added momentum.

Apathy walks over to her downed opponent and then grabs their leg, then she holds it up crossing her leg in and grabs the other leg. She then forcefully turns her foe over onto their chest and then grabs their arms and locks her arms underneath their arms, holding them above the mat in her Affliction finisher. Twila laughs at the pain of the finisher, but finds that she cannot escape from the hold with her arms and legs locked up.

Scott Jones checks to see if she’s going to submit, but Twila laughs and laughs. Eventually, Madame Mandragora jumps to the ring apron and throws in a towel to indicate that she’s calling the match on behalf of her charge. Scott Jones nods and signals for the bell to be rung.

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match and having completed her five Valor championship defenses…”Apathy” Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke!

Jessica Carr – The championship is vacant now, folks, and we will have a Valor title scramble at the next Vanguard!

Victoria HIll – Who will be invited, I wonder?

Twila Venin gets up and leaves the ring with Madame Mandragora while Apathy celebrates in the ring.

Victoria HIll – More important, what title will Apathy challenge for? She could challenge for the Conquest title and face the winner of the Conquest Title match at Tribal Warfare. Or she could challenge for the tag team titles with her husband, the tag team titles currently held by eNVy. Or the Elite Title currently held by Greg Salazar.

Jessica Carr – She could also challenge for any 4 Winds Championship she could qualify for. She’s out of the weight category for the Tempest Title, and she can’t challenge for the Albion title because she’s not a citizen of the British Commonwealth.

Victoria HIll – I believe she is also not from North America. But she could challenge for the Dyad titles held by the Wild Hunt, or the Maelstrom Title currently held by some schlub in Wrestle: UK. I guess it’s too bad the CWF doesn’t have a European Championship yet. Otherwise, being French, she could challenge for that.

Jessica Carr – Well while Apathy celebrates in the ring, we’ve got to go. This has been Jessica Carr…

Victoria HIll – And Victoria HIll. It’s been a pleasure being your hosts. Warzone is coming up in a couple of days. Be sure to tune in and…

Both – #JOINTHECONQUEST

The screen goes dark and the credits start. About half way through the credits…

The camera fades in slowly.

Twila Venin sits on a bench, wrapped in gauze and tape. Her breathing is steady. A medic finishes checking her ribs and exits the frame.

Madame Mandragora remains close, silent.

Twila Venin (quiet, reflective) –  Losing hurts.

She presses her palm flat against her chest.

Twila Venin –  Not like people think.  Not pride. Not ego.

She looks up.

Twila Venin –  It hurts because it tells the truth.

She lets out a soft laugh.

Twila Venin –  And the truth tonight?  I wasn’t done.

Madame Mandragora raises an eyebrow.

Madame Mandragora –  Loss can be a crossroads… or a mirror.

Twila Venin  (smiles) –  Then I know what I saw.

Twila slowly stands, rolling her shoulder, wincing — but still smiling.

Twila Venin –  Tribal Warfare.

She says it plainly. Calm. Certain.

Twila Venin –  That night… I don’t need gold.  I don’t need promises.

She steps toward the camera, eyes steady — not obsessive, not unhinged.

Twila Venin –  I need closure.

She nods once, as if sealing a thought.

Twila Venin –  So consider this patience…with teeth.

Madame Mandragora places a gentle hand on Twila’s shoulder.

Madame Mandragora –  Some stories demand a second chapter.

Twila Venin –  Exactly.

Twila turns and walks down the hallway, shoulders squared, moving with purpose.

FADE OUT
