||Vanguard || Season 4 || Episode 6 || Toronto, Ontario, Canada ||

The show opening starts as the new Vanguard theme for Season 4, “Elevate” by Kingdom Collapse starts to play. It’s quickly followed by the new Season 4 Logo for Vanguard.

The patented CWF drone flyover starts shows the Scotiabank Arena and a graphic comes up saying that 18,275 CWF Fans have joined us live in the Arena, out of a capacity of just under 20,000 for tonight’s show.

Victoria Hill – Good evening and welcome to the CWF Presents Vanguard. We’re just after Lunar Warfare, middle of season 4, and tonight is the 6th Episode of Vanguard for you this season.

Jessica Carr – And we’re coming off a huge show with Lunar Warfare. We have three new champions out of 4 titles that were defended. On the Vanguard Pre-show, we crowned new Tag Team Champions, in the nKo team of Gabriel Tuck and Trelissa Perrault.

Victoria Hill – And we have a new Valor Champion, who will defend it in the main event of our coming Warzone show, as Apathy won over Vespertine.

Jessica Carr – And the Elite X match saw Greg Salazar come out with the Elite Championship. His teammate in Bad Company, Kara Reinhardt has 404 days as Elite Champion. Over a year with the title.

Victoria Hill – And Abbigail Dresden eeked out a win over Kronin Reinhardt to retain the Conquest Championship. But her next challenger will be a big one. Samael Drago entered the Lunar Warfare rumble at #1… 42 combatants came and went in total.and in the end, Samael Drago was the first man and the last man standing in the ring.

Jessica Carr – The last three were Greg Salazar, new Elite Champion, Gabriel Blight who has a chance to become the number one contender for the Elite title tonight, and the winner, Samael Drago. But it was a huge match, and we know who are the top CWF stars at this time.

Victoria Hill – And tonight, the first of the aftermath from Lunar Warfare. Our main event, Greg Salazar will face off against the guy who almost won the Elite title, Madd Morales. But in a regular non-title match up.

Jessica Carr – The number one contendership for his title will be determined as Gabriel Blight and Peak of Freak will  contend for that coveted spot.

Victoria Hill – Come on my Freaky Man.

Jessica Carr – We also have Twila Venin taking on Nathaniel Jackson. Twilla made a huge debut during the Lunar Rumble. A strange one she is.

Victoria Hill – And we’ll have Andrew Nero and Christina Papadopoulos facing off in our opening match here shortly.

Jessica Carr – And eNVy and the Diamond Kings will be facing off in tag team action. Speaking of which, before we go to the ring. I’m told we’re going backstage to catch up with Vespertine and Karlie Nash of eNVy.

Victoria Hill – Don’t forget we found out at Lunar Warfare that we have a new stable with the Annwyn, and eNVy. We don’t know their name yet. At least not officially. But they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Jessica Carr – So many things happened. But lets see what’s going on in the back.

We see the team of eNVy, Vespertine and Karlie Nash – Nash walking down the hall deep in discussion

Vespertine – So I thought he would strip me of my powers. He did and he didn’t. He gave me back my soul. I lost a few days of memory. That always happens when a soul is returned to the body. But he also gave me an idea. That you should go after the Valor title again and I should go after the Elite title.

Karlie Nash  doesn’t say much but gives her a look almost like Silent Bob and Vespertine knows what she says

Vespertine – I know. To me at the time it didn’t make much sense. But there is more. He also told us to get Vastrix and have him challenge for the tag titles again.

They stop outside the door of Jeremiah Vastrix and with one knock and without waiting for an answer, Vespertine opens the door and walks right in. Karlie Nash – shrugs and goes in after her.

Jeremiah Vastrix – What is-

Vespertine – Hey! Bossman. We are here and we are ready. Thing is, we have a match tonight against the Diamond Kings. Now they were the ones who were actually pinned against the Upstarts, we had nothing to do with that and I was a millisecond too late for breaking up the pin. We lost our chance. But here’s my thinking: if you make tonight a title shot match. I’m pretty sure you will be impressed by what you see. We aren’t about to lose again. We are eNVy, we fall down, we get right back up.

Jeremiah Vastrix – But you-

Vespertine – Now wait. My dark master came to me last night in shadow form. He didn’t do much damage but that’s beside the point. He gave me/us another chance. Wanted me to go after the Elite Title and wanted Karlie Nash – to go after the Valor title since she was co holder. Also wanted us to try again for the tag team titles.

Jeremiah Vastrix – Now wait. You lost-

Vespertine – I KNOW THAT! My fault. Losing three times in one PPV weekend hurts the ego. Don’t remind me. But we are the best team to EVER grace the CWF halls. Everyone wants to see us but not everyone can be us. We won’t lose again. Not against Diamond Kings.

Karlie Nash -: Exactly we didn’t take the pin in the threeway match, so tonight when we beat The Diamond Kings, we should be considered to be next in line for a tag title shot.

Vespertine – Come on, you brought us over from DPW. Or actually me and I brought Karlie Nash – here. You brought us because you saw the kind of impact we can make in this federation, on this division or any division here. Like we say individually we are dangerous. Together we are unstoppable. And while Upstarts beat us once, we are NOT gonna let that happen again.

Jeremiah Vastrix – Ok, you done?

Vespertine – Yeah I think we covered just about everything. Can you get us the title shot?

Jeremiah Vastrix – I think there’s some confusion going on here. I don’t own any part of CWF and I am not in any managerial position. I called you here because I heard the Diamond Kings were offered a title shot if they won the match against you guys. I think Armand was wanting to set the Diamond Kings up to fail against his nKo team. I just want to advise you guys to go to Valora to see about getting a title shot if you beat the Diamond Kings. I think that you can beat them, no problem.

Vespertine – So, you want us to go to Valora and let her know that since Armand made a deal with the Diamond Kings that she should make a similar deal with us?

Jeremiah Vastrix – Yes. I am looking out for your best interests, after all. I have no power, but I have a few spies around that let me know what’s up.

Karlie Nash -: Our best interests, and what do you think our best interests are.

Jeremiah Vastrix – You want glory and riches, yes? I am to position the people into positions that allow them to shine. I am to take control of Armand’s shares and help raise up the company. One day I will be able to handle things directly, but in the meantime. Go see Valora Salinas and she will be able to take care of things.

Fist to palm, Vespertine bows to him and drags Karlie Nash along with me as we go out the door.

Vespertine – Good! This is turning into a good thing. Let’s go see Valora now.

Camera cuts back to the announcers

Jessica Carr – Well that’s not fully fair. I mean, if the Diamond Kings win, they get a title shot but not eNVy?

Victoria Hill – Not sure. But I’m sure we’ll get an update to that later on. First though, time for our first match.

Marcelo Sancho – The following contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. The Bloodhound. Andrew Nero!!

Smoke rises from below until it completely covers the ramp, both sides of the stage, and the exit under the big screen.

The heavy riffs of “Like a Villain” begin to echo through the arena as the camera moves forward, filming from bottom to top, until it frames Andrew, who holds his head down, the hood of his jacket covering his eyes.

“Look into my face, then look again.”

After these words Nero begins to walk toward the ramp, standing still a couple of steps away from it, letting the camera circle around him and show the back of his jacket, where he wears his logo.

Tilting his head in the direction of the camera, the chorus starts, as finally catching him from the front, Andrew removes his hood and stares straight into the camera.

Then, he heads toward the ring, slowly, talking to no one. Arriving, he leans with both hands against the ring, rests his head against the edge, staying that way for a moment, talking to himself.

Once he’s done that, he slides inside the ring, goes to the corner, climbs up there and looks toward the fans, pumping himself up by beating his fists against the top turnbuckle.

After getting down, he takes off his jacket and warms up for the match.

Victoria Hill – Nero participated in millions of cage fights before getting here. I think Christina may need to be careful this time.

Jessica Carr – The Bloodhound is a mysterious character. Nero does not tell where he exactly is from.

Marcelo Sancho – And his opponent, from Wilmington, Delaware, the Nightmare with a smile. Christina Pappadopoulos!

With lyrics There’s a war inside my head as lights Go Out Sometimes I wish that I was dead, I’m broken. So I call this therapist And she said girl you can’t be fixed just take this So what if I’m fucking crazy as Christina Papadopoulos appears on Entrance Ramp with her Arms behind her back nonnchalant with Smirk as makes her way down to the ring nonchalantly as she give a face to fan to kiss her cheek as fan go do so and stick hand in between and laughs at fan as she walk up the ring steps Enters in under top rope.

Victoria Hill – Let us hope Christina has got an ace up her sleeve for this match.

The bell rings. Christina charges first, attempting a quick slap to Nero’s face, but he sidesteps effortlessly. She spins for a high kick, only to catch Nero’s elbow to her midsection. Staggering back, she lashes out with a knee, but Nero catches it and flips her to the mat with a clean Russian Leg Sweep.

Jessica Carr – Things are not looking good for Christina!

Victoria Hill – Ah! Give her some time!

Getting up quickly, Christina tries to rally, hitting Nero with a series of quick eye rakes and a kick to the ropes, trying to gain momentum. But Nero barely flinches. He lifts her for a backbreaker, leaving her gasping on the mat.

Then, Nero grabs her for a brutal Saito Suplex, planting her flat on the canvas.

Jessica Carr – Christina turns into a big pancake!

Christina gasps for breath, and gets up gradually. She attempts a Step-on-Shoe move, hoping to stun Nero with a small opening.

He barely reacts, shrugging it off before driving her into the corner with a vicious Double Stomp

Victoria Hill – This might be it for her! The “Crazy Bitch” might need to be a little crazier to keep up with Nero!

Nero signals to the crowd cockily. Christina tries to perform a short-arm clothesline,  but Nero catches her wrist mid-swing. A smooth Fade to Black (Swinging Reverse STO) sends Christina flying across the ring. She rolls to the ropes. Nero lifts her for a Hammerlock into Brainbuster , which he calls simply, “Requiem”.

The mat shakes as Christina hits the canvas with a resounding thud. Nero hooks her leg, and the referee counts:

One… Two… Three!

Nero rises, arms raised, staring coldly at the crowd.

Victoria Hill – Nero’s victory is…hmm..quite impressive. Quite a demonstration of why he’s probably going to be a threat soon.

Jessica Carr – A welcome addition to the CWF, for sure. Look at that menace!

Victoria Hill – And impressive win here tonight from the newcomer. But, it’s that time. The first of our commercial breaks tonight.

Jessica Carr – We’ll be right back with more CWF Vanguard!

The show comes back and we’re backstage

The show comes back and we’re backstage,  Again we are walking down the hall with eNVy. Having just met with Jeremiah Vastrix, he gave them an impossible task. That they should talk with Valora over this matter. Again, they get to the door, Vespertine knocks, there isn’t even an answer before she just walks on in. Again Karlie Nash – shrugs and goes in after her.

Valora is sitting at her desk watching the monitor and then slowly turns to face Vespertine, anger and ire written all over her face

Vespertine – You’re here. You look mad. Not something I did, I presume. Or maybe it was. Well whatev’s. Meanwhile we just came from Vastrix’s office and for some reason he liked our pitch of going after the tag team titles making tonight’s match a title shot match and having me go after the Elite title while Karlie Nash – tries for the Valor title. What I don’t understand is, he told us to come ask you. And I thought the Von Krausses, who are the owners, are weird. Can’t anybody preside and lead like normal presiders and leaders.

Valora drums her fingers on her desk as she stares through Vespertine

Vespertine – Look he said it was a good idea but he wanted… wants… us to come talk it over with you.

Valora Salinas – Alright, chica.. Lemme break this down for you so it should be real fuckin’ simple to grasp this concept. Armand owns one third of the company. He took the president role so he can stroke his frail male ego and still feel like he’s in charge. Ian is one third owner. He handles his portion of the company. I am one third owner and I handle the wrestling side of things. Now that you’ve been brought up to speed on who your bosses are. Your match idea

Valora thinks for a moment, drumming her fingers on the desk

Valora Salinas – My personal preference would be to have you take on a team a bit higher up the rankings. But there’s still time until the next pay per view. So if you really want this, then I’ll approve it, but fair warning, there a lot of talented teams.. So if you win tonight, you better hope you get the titles, without interference from your friends, or else it might be a while before you get another shot. You good with that?

Vespertine – Actually….. No. Vastrix told us that Diamond Kings get a title shot if they win tonight. So how come we aren’t getting the same deal?

Valora blinks in surprise here.

Valora Salinas – I hadn’t intended to give them a title shot if they win. So someone made a decision they don’t have the ability to make. But, as I said, if you really want the same deal, I can do that. But the winner of the match had better fucking hope they win. There’s more than a few talented tag teams in the fed at the moment. Since someone just pissed me off by giving one team something they had no authority to do, I’ll even the scales and say if you win, you get the tag title shot.

Karlie Nash – Tag team Championships are something I’m very familiar with Ms. Salinas, and we’re weren’t beat in that triple threat match so we should get the shot over them, but I’m willing to earn it tonight.

Vespertine shakes her head and before Valora can explode any farther, Vespertine grabs Karlie Nash by the arm and pulls her out the door….

…Once they get out beyond her earshot, Vespertine starts on the explanation.

Vespertine – She gave us the ok in her first sentence. Trust me, people like that, you don’t want to get on their bad side and I’m sure she didn’t want to hear about your history. As fascinating as it is, Karlie Nash -, sorry. But just be glad she didn’t give us any stipulations attached or give us any more hoops to jump through. Go in, drop the bomb and once you get an answer, any answer, leave.

Karlie Nash – What bomb do you want me to drop?

Vespertine – Karlie, I love you but you can be a little Midwestern sometimes. It’s a figure of speech but in this instance we did drop a bomb. She isn’t happy about it but it’s out of her hands. Now all we have to do is go win a match.

Karlie Nash –: And Ves I don’t care how we do it.

Vespertine – You don’t. That’s my girl. That’s how we’ll win.

She holds out her fist so they can dap hands and then they walk off screen.

Jessica Carr – So now the tag team match tonight is for the number one contendership for the Tag Team Titles, all around.

Victoria Hill – The winner will get a shot at the Tag Team Titles, currently held by the nKo team of Gabriel Tuck and Trelissa Perrault. This is getting more interesting tonight.

Jessica Carr – Well time for our second match up. Twila Venin and Nathaniel Jackson. Take it away Macela!

Marcela Sancho – The following contest has been scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at 211 pounds, he is Karlie Nash -Gentleman” Nathaniel Jackson!

As “Straight Out of Surrey” by Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer starts, a Union Jack appears on the screen with the Ohio flag in the bottom right-hand corner. Nate comes out and doffs his Trilby to the crowd, cricket bat over his shoulder. He’s wearing a nice sports coat and matching trousers and has a handlebar mustache.

As he makes his way down the ramp, he doffs his hat again to any ladies that happen to be along the ramp, finally putting his hat on the head of the woman closest to the ring steps.

He makes his way up the steps, wipes his feet on the apron, and steps between the ropes. He doffs his hat to the crowd again before placing the cricket bat in the corner, taking off his coat, folding it carefully, and handing it to the ring attendant.

Jessica Carr – Very prim and proper. A good and proper gentleman.

Victoria Hill – I don’t know that a gentleman would be good to face someone like Twila.

Jessica Carr – Yeah, she requires someone who might not be such a gentleman.

Victoria Hill – You say Karlie Nash -might”, but I say for sure.

Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, weighing in at 134 pounds…she is Twila Venin!

A hush falls. Darkness swallows the arena.

Suddenly, a white spotlight hits center stage, illuminating a child-sized carousel slowly spinning in place. Broken porcelain dolls are draped across the horses. A soft music box lullaby begins to play—but it’s warped, reversed, and layered with whispers you can almost understand.

From the speakers, a voice murmurs:

“She’s been good. She’s been quiet.

But good little girls don’t stay buried.”

The lights flicker. Blood-red strobe hits the stage.

A silhouette appears upside down, slowly descending from above like a spider—Twila Venin, suspended in a web of black silk, wearing a corseted bodysuit splashed with crimson smears, her face painted ghost-white with a smeared black smile and sharp eyes full of mischief and menace.

As she lands on the ramp, glitchy static hits the screen. Her Tron explodes into chaotic flashes: nursery scribbles, X-ray scans of a smiling skull, crime scene photos, burning roses, a carousel turning too fast, too fast, too fast—

TWILA VENIN

“The Daughter of Delightful Ruin”

The music drops—industrial horror trap, with eerie music box chimes buried under heavy bass and distorted laughter.

She crawls down the ramp—not walks, crawls, then suddenly skips, then twirls, dragging a heart-shaped war mallet behind her.

Smoke begins to curl up from the stage. Not pyro—mist. Thick, unnatural fog, curling around her limbs like vines of a toxic plant. The crowd doesn’t know whether to cheer or scream.

At the apron, she licks the turnbuckle, giggles, then somersaults into the ring like a demented ballerina.

She kneels at the center, looks directly into the camera, tilts her head…

And mouths the words:

“You called me.”

The lights flicker one final time.

The lullaby cuts out.

Her theme stops mid-beat.

The crowd is left in silence.

And then—

BOOM.

A burst of confetti and black petals erupts from the turnbuckles.

Jessica Carr – I, personally, think that Twila is frightening.

Victoria Hill – You’re not wrong there.

As the bell rings to start the match, Nathaniel and Twila begin circling around one another while looking for an avenue to which to attack. Nathaniel gives something of a short bow to Twlia, who nods before kicking him in the nuts! Nathaniel’s eyes bulge from his head and he drops to his knees.

Jessica Carr – Well, that was a surprise.

Victoria Hill – Well, I was surprised, yeah.

Referee Georgina Ross yells at Twila not to do that anymore. She nods and rubs Georgina on the cheek.

Twila Venin – It’s ok. It’s ok. I kicked him in the balls.

Georgina Ross – No! Do not do that!

Twila Venin – Of course, nice lady.

While Twila’s attention is diverted by the referee, Nathaniel rolls her up with a school boy cradle for the surprise cover! Georgina gets into position.

….one

……two

……..thr- Twila kicks out!

Nathaniel stands up and is met by Twila, who pulls him in close as if for a kiss and then…

GLITTER BOMB!

Twila Venin grins like a madwoman as she is covered in glitter. Nathaniel Jackson backs away, blinded and coughing from glitter getting into his eyes and lungs. Georgina Ross looks ready to call for the bell as she glares at Twila.

Georgina Ross – What the Hell?

Twila Venin – It’s ok. It’s ok. Everyone loves glitter.

Twila runs up to Nathaniel and hits a snapmare/knee strike combo, hitting him right between the shoulder blades with the knee strike. She pulls him up, grabs him by the wrists, and begins to savagely headbutt him while singing “Ring around the Rosey” . She quits when she starts bleeding from a small gash in the forehead, the blood gathering glitter as it goes. Nathaniel is also bleeding from his forehead, staggering backwards a few steps.

Jessica Carr – This just gets stranger and stranger.

Victoria Hill – I don’t understand how she got a contract.

Twila goes for a twisted cartwheel kick when Nathaniel suddenly moves to catch her by the legs while he handis on the mat. He pulls her up into the air, plants a foot into her armpit, and jumps with his other leg to pogostick her head into the mat with a crash!

Nathaniel gets back to his feet quickly and runs for the ropes, coming back as Twila is getting up and hits a running palm strike to the mouth in a move he calls “Shut Your Gob”! This sends Twila back down to the mat. Nathaniel begins the motion of the Jackson Stomp Garvin Stomp, finishing with a stomp to the forehead!

Jessica Carr – Glitter Nate on the comeback!

Victoria Hill – Why is he Glitter Nate?

Jessica Carr – Cause he’s covered in glitter and glitter-tainted blood.

Victoria Hill – I suppose.

Nathaniel applies a single-leg Boston crab while Georgina checks to see if Twila will submit.

Twila Venin – Mary, Mary, quite contrary, How does your garden grow? With silver bells, and cockle shells, And pretty maids all in a row

Georgina Ross – Is that a no?

Nathaniel releases the hold and stands up. He runs for the corner and springboards off of the turnbuckles and lands on his feet where Twila used to be. Nathaniel turns around to see where Twila has gone only to see her standing nearby and blowing him a kiss before applying a bridging omoplata clutch that she calls Vnin’s Edge. With no way to break tyhe hold and not near the ropes, Nathaniel taps out!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via submission…Twila Venin!

Twila slips oiut of the ring and reaches underneath the ring to pull out a bloodstained teddy bear. She rolls into the ring and lays it next to Nathaniel, tucking him in as if he were going to bed. She then leans by his ear and whispers.

Twila Venin – Sleep tight, don’t bite… unless I do first.

Victoria Hill – Twila Venin with an impressive win tonight.

Jessica Carr – But she’s not leaving the ring, not yet.

Madame Mandragora steps into the ring, and hands Twila a microphone.

Jessica Carr – And we’re about to hear from this new CWF Combatant!

Twila Venin – Ah… hello, my new friends. Did you enjoy the show? Did you see the… mayhem I left behind? Oh, you weren’t paying attention? That’s alright… you’ll have more chances to watch me play.

She crouches slightly, crawling toward the camera like a spider, glitter falling from her hands.

Twila Venin – Some people fight for titles… some fight for glory… but me? I fight for… companionship. The kind that bites back, that thrills, that… tempts me.

Her eyes flick toward the camera as if peering directly into the viewer’s living room.

Twila Venin – And speaking of temptation… Fiona. Oh, my sweet, untamed little challenge… you caught my attention. And I never forget those who make my heart skip like a broken music box.

Twila spins her cane, letting it strike the mat softly, echoing in the empty ring. She crouches low again, whispering directly into the lens.

Twila Venin – You’ll see me coming, Fiona. I’ll dance around you, I’ll toy with you… and maybe, if I’m feeling generous… I’ll let you keep a piece of yourself.

She tilts her head, laughing softly, then spins in place, glitter spraying in all directions.

Twila Venin – Don’t look away… don’t blink… because the next time we meet, you won’t know where the game ends, and where I… begin.

Twila stands upright, cane raised. Madame Mandragora steps forward, calm and poised, clipboard in hand.

Madame Mandragora  – Twila is… in a particular mental state at the moment. She thrives on obsession, chaos, and seduction. Her methods are… unconventional, but effective. And while she is both lesbian and pansexual, she has a… preference for women. Men are… expendable. Women, however… fascinate her. Fiona, you’ve just become her next… muse.

Twila tilts her head at Madame Mandragora, mockingly curtseying.

Twila Venin – Bravo, Madame. Always so… helpful. Now, my dear audience… watch closely. My next performance is going to be… deliciously personal.

She crawls backward toward the ropes, pausing to wink directly at the camera before vaulting gracefully out of the ring. Glitter rains down, leaving the audience in a mix of horror and awe.

Twila Venin – Now, Nathaniel Jackson… while he may entertain notions of being a ‘proper gentleman,’ he holds no interest for Twila. Not because he is unworthy… but because he does not provoke her curiosity, does not tempt her, does not excite her chaos. To Twila, he is… a side note. A… puzzle that solves itself before it’s even begun. Fiona, on the other hand, is a canvas… and Twila always wants to paint.

Jessica Carr – She’s touched in the head.

Victoria Hill – I have to agree with you. Really, touched in the head. This is a sign of why it was bad to get rid of the asylums in the 80’s.

Jessica Carr – No arguments there. But, we’re needing ot break away from the action and move to our second commercial break. We’ll be right back.

The show returns from commercials, back to our announcing team.

Jessica Carr – And now for the first of two contendership matches tonight. The winning team in the next match, a tag team match, will get a shot at the new CWF Tag Team Champions, Gabriel Tuck and Trelissa Perrault.

Victoria Hill – And it’s two teams that faced each other in the first round of the tag team tourney, in The Diamond Kings and eNVy. I know after both tasting Valor Championship gold, eNVy would both like to put another title belt around their waists, and one that they’d not have to fight each other for would be preferred.

Jessica Carr – And to top it off, Karlie Nash – Nash actually had to request that Reece Cross of the Diamond Kings go get tested for various drugs before this match up.

Victoria Hill – Well the guy is huge. Not as big as my main man, the Peak of all Freakiness. But he’s big. She might have had a valid concern that he was juicing.

Jessica Carr – If anyone is juicing it’s people like Peak of Freak. Way too damn big for their frame. But we know that he’s come out of the testing with a good result.

Victoria Hill – Hey, Peak of Freak does not use illegal substances. But if he ever wants to pop a blue chew or a HIMs or any other male enhancement pill on a date with me, all he has to do is ask me out. But, this match is happening, so at least the results of that drug test was one  that the CWF staff is happy with.

Jessica Carr – Well what we do know is that this match is going to happen.  What you and Peak of Freak take on the side, as long as it’s legal, is your business. And it looks like Marcela is ready in the ring!

Marcela Sancho – The following matchup is  a tag team match. The winning team will get a shot at the CWF Tag Team Championships in the near future. Introducing first…coming in at a combined weight of 427 lbs. They are ”The Professional” Mark Tyler & Karlie Nash -The One Man Wrecking Crew” Reece Cross… The Diamond Kings!

The house lights go down as the opening bars of Another Brick In The Wall ring through the arena. As the lyrics kick, both members of the Diamond Kings burst through the curtain, soaking up the reaction of the crowd. Cross roars, pounding his chest, whilst Tyler stalks down the entrance way, only to rejoin his tag partner at the ring apron. In synch, the two men enter the ring, before hitting their dual raised diamond hand signs to the crowd. Ultimately, the two men slink back into their corner, before Tyler prepares to start the match.

Marcela Sancho – And their opponents…

The opening bridge of “Knuckle Up” by Snowgoons start up and after minute or so, that fades to “Beast Mode On” by Orkestral Studio indicating the two entrance themes of both women. The arena lights go down and a single spotlight comes up and then hear the opening notes of “We Will Rock You”- by In This Moment.

On the Tron comes up images of Karlie Nash – and Vespertine wrestling and Karlie Nash – brawling with various opponents and Vespertine flying off various things to take out various opponents. Interspersed are images of Karlie Nash – playing hockey and checking opponents and Vespertine driving her cars and doing side shows and street racing.

From below the ring, the trapdoor with an entire pulpit comes up with Karlie Nash – standing behind arms outstretched as if basking in the light of God. On either side of her stand Hilda Myer and Tracy Dixon. The pulpit in front of her is uniquely dark and on it are two candles with Vespertine standing head bowed and in buddhist prayer. She looks up and we see her eyes are deep dark black. She steps off the trapdoor and waits at the top of the entrance ramp. Karlie Nash – goes into darkness as she goes around the pulpit and reappears right next to Vespertine. Karlie Nash – has arms outstretched as if asking her God for help. Vespertine holds out on fist towards the audience as if to encompass their souls. They start off and walk in time to the music. Karlie Nash – gets to the ring, goes up the steps and goes through the ropes. Vespertine goes up the opposite steps, goes to the middle of the ropes, and flips over them dropping into a Melina type splits. The lights are still low as both women get to the center of the ring.

“We will, we will rock you.

WE will, we will rock you.

We will, we will rock you.”

Then when it goes into the ending bridge of the song, they suddenly pose, Karlie Nash – stands at 5 feet 11 inches and Vespertine poses low in front of her at 5 feet 5 inches but both have arms out and up. The lights come back up and Vespertine bows her head to take off her hood whereup when she comes back up, her eyes have returned to normal. She goes to stand in the far corner with Karlie Nash – to discuss team tactics with Hilda and Tracy listening in.

Marcela Sancho – Hailing respectively from the Gates of Eternity, formerly San Francisco and the Minnesota Fundamentalist Church of Grand Marais Minnesota coming in at five feet 5 inches and 5 feet 11 inches at a total combined weight of 272 lbs, they are THE Premier Athlete Karlie Nash – Nash and the Well Rounded Fighting Machine, Vespertine. eNVyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!

The referee calls for the bell.

DING! DING!

Both members of eNVy break towards Mark Tyler. Nash catches him in the midsection with a knee, and while bent over. Vespertine comes in and helps her hook his head. Both snap him down for a DDT.

Jessica Carr – And eNVy are right on the attack. No hesitations what so ever.

Victoria Hill – A shot at the tag team championship is on the line.

Nash comes up and cuts off Cross as he’s stepping into the fray. She kicks him in the midsection then snaps him back with a russian legsweep. Vespertine comes off the ropes with a slingshot into a diving elbow. Just after she hits it, she rolls a bit, and then heads for their corner.

Jessica Carr – Karlie Nash – Nash and Vespertine have been in charge to start things off here. So far a well oiled machine.

Nash keeps fighting with Cross. They trade a few punches, but then he whips her to the ropes. He tries to catch her as she comes off with a fireman’s carry into a roll type move, but as soon as he has Nash up on his shoulders, Vespertine is there kicking him repeatedly on his sides, from behind.

Nash uses his hesitation after the attack to get off his shoulders to her feet behind him. She hooks his arm over her head, and manages to get the much larger man up and over into an Olympic slam!

Jessica Carr – Holy! Karlie Nash – Nash just slammed a man almost twice her weight.

Victoria Hill – Women have a lower center of gravity, and only needed to lift him a little and take him back. Still impressive, but not exactly impossible.

Vespertine again heads out of the ring. Nash waits a moment and as Cross sits up, she comes off the ropes and delivers a rolling neck snap to him. She comes up on the other side of the roll, and dropkicks him back down. She then scrambles over and tags in Vespertine.

Jessica Carr – Quick tag here, and here comes in the Deadly Diva.

Vespertine gets into the ring. Mark Tyler gets up onto the ring apron, but then gets launched off as Vespertine runs to him and delivers a jumping hip check, sending him to the floor again.

Victoria Hill – They’re isolating Reese Cross here easily.

Vespertine comes up as Cross is getting to his feet and starts to kick him in the ribs on one side. She gets in about 5 kicks before he finally gets to a position where he can catch her leg. He manages to come up to his feet, and then pulls her back the ankle to come in for an exploder suplex. He lifts her up and takes her over, but Vespertine manages to land on her feet. Cross lands on his back, and then is met by a standing moonsault.

He kicks out before she can even try for a pinfall.

Jessica Carr – Vespertine keeping the fast attacks up, and keeping the Diamond Kings off balance.

Vespertine hops up to her feet, and turns to run, but Cross grabs her foot and trips her. He then steps up and pulls her to her feet, then lifts her up over his head, and drops her across the ropes in a snake eyes.

Jessica Carr – And Reese Cross trying to build up some momentum here.

Cross grabs Vespertine and lifts her up. He puts her over his shoulder and then runs a few steps to then drop her down into a classic powerslam. He tries to go for a pin.

… One

… Vespertine uses her arms to pull herself out from under the man in a slide. As he moves to try to stop her, she grabs his head and pulls it into a knee strike that catches him in the forehead.

Victoria Hill – And that pin was denied.

Vespertine kips up to her feet, and starts to do a series of martial arts strikes and kicks on Cross as he raises up to his feet. He stops here and there when she hits, showing that hte strikes are having some effect. When he gets to his feet, she grabs his head and drops into a jawbreaker that puts him onto the ropes. She quickly gets back to her feet, hits the opposite ropes, comes in and grabs him for a rope assisted reverse STO, slamming his face to the mat. She hops up to her feet, and Nash calls for a tag. Vespertine dives tagging in Karlie Nash – Nash.

Jessica Carr – eNVy keeping fighters fresh, and Reese Cross has taken a beating by these two so far. Vespertine capitalizing with what she calls a Verse’s End there.

Victoria Hill – And now, Karlie Nash – Nash is back into the ring.

Nash runs in, full speed, hitting a running knee to Cross’ face. Tyler is shown leaning into the ring and calling for a tag. Nash pulls Cross up to his feet. Cross hits her with a roaring elbow and then turns to try to head for his corner… but Nash hits him with a legsweep that stops him cold.

Victoria Hill – And still, keeping him isolated and not able to tag in.

Nash grabs Cross and pulls him back up to his feet.  Cross tries a wild haymaker punch, but Nash ducks under it and nails him with a knee lift to the ribs. She grabs his head and starts to deliver a series of knees to the same spot as she pushes him back to the ropes.

Jessica Carr – And Nash is not holding back in this match, at all. She’s tenderizing the Wrecking Machine’s ribs here.

Nash tags Vespertine as they approach their corner. As Vespertine climbs in and starts running to the perpendicular side, Nash whips Cross to the other side. She runs right after him and when he bounces off the ropes, she drops him with a drop toe hold. Vespertine comes off the ropes in a springboard moonsault, twists in the air, and lands across the back of Cross’ neck with a huge legdrop.

Victoria Hill – Well I’d not call Reese Cross as a Shrew, but he was just tamed by some good old fashioned tag team work by eNVy.

Jessica Carr – Can’t argue with that.

Vespertine moves to roll Cross over, but Tyler is there to stop it. He hits a running dropkick that takes her off his downed body. Tyler then pulls Cross up to his feet and runs with him to the ropes. Tyler climbs half way through, tags Cross on his shoulder, and then climbs back in. Crossslumps a bit in the corner, looking like he needs a break.

Victoria Hill – And a not so quick tag and Reese Cross is finally out of this match up.

Vespertine, the legal person goes running in at Tyler, kicking him with a hard cutting shin kick to his lower back. She locks him into a full nelson and tries to lift him up for her 401K move. She can’t seem to get him up.

Jessica Carr – Mark Tyler is the smaller of the two Diamond Kings, but Vespertine is still the smallest in this match up.

Vespertine manages to handle Tyler and pull him back near her corner with the ropes. She yells out, and Nash tags her shoulder. Nash climbs in, grabs Tyler’s legs and helps pull him up and puts his legs on the top rope. Vespertine uses that to then finish the 401K, hitting a lungblower/codebreaker and putting her knees to his back. Tyler flips to the side, holding his lower back after the move.

Victoria Hill – And tonight, Vespertine is giving free chiropractor adjustments.

Nash, now legal, lines up as Tyler slowly gets to his feet. When he’s half way up, she rushes in and nails him in the head with a knee trembler!

Jessica Carr – Two-Minutes, penalty from Karlie Nash – Nash here. She just snapped Mark Tyler’s head back. Does Vespertine’s chiro work cure whiplash?

Nash grabs Tyler, pulling him up to his feet, hunched over. She pulls his head between her thighs, and butterflies both arms. Cross starts to move out of the corner. Nash pulls Tyler up for a double underhook piledriver, and drops him down onto his head

When Cross gets close, Vespertine hits a basement drop kick that takes one leg out from under him and drops him. .

Victoria Hill – And the Upper Body Injury from Karlie Nash – Nash may have just secured a tag team title match against the nKo.

Nash doesn’t go for the pin. She pullsTyler up, and then looks for Vespertine. Vespertine is quickly throwing Cross through the ropes to tumble to the outside.

Jessica Carr – eNVy is now isolating Mark Tyler in the ring.

Nash goes behind Tyler, and bends down to then set him up. She stands up with him on her shoulders. He’s bigger than her by about 30 lbs, and they’re the same height. She manages to get him up and she stands fully. Vespertine runs the corner and hops to the top. She turns to look over her shoulder and then comes off with a moonsault.

Victoria Hill – Into Oblivion!

She catches Tyler’s head… Karlie Nash – Nash falls backwards with an Electric Chair drop, but it’s spiked by a moonsault inverted DDT from Vespertine!

On landing, Nash bridges, going for a pinfall!

… One…

…… Two

……. . Three!

Jessica Carr – And eNVy just became number one contenders for the CWF Tag Team Titles.

Victoria Hill – And eNVy showing they’re back on the same page here. Maybe forming with Drago and Kreigson has put some new fire and discipline in them. Because they tore the Diamond Kings apart tonight.

Jessica Carr – That could very well be what happened. No longer aimless, and now on a path with a goal.

Victoria Hill – I’m told while eNVy is celebrating a dominating victory out here, we’re going to the back for a meeting with the New Kharnival Order.

Backstage at the arena in a meeting room, confiscated for the nKo. Madd Morales and the Peak of Freak sit alone while waiting for the others.

Madd Morales – They think that they can be late for a meeting now. The King of the nKo and his fucking clowns.

Peak of Freak – Well, they think that their stock has risen from the Lunar Rumble. Gabriel did save Trelisa from eliminating you.

Madd puts his feet up onto the meeting table with a laugh.

Madd Morales – I’m sure he did it to suck up to me.

Peak of Freak – Yeah, you’re right. That’s probably why.

The door to the meeting room swings open to let in Trelisa Perrault and Gabriel Tuck.

Madd Morales – About time the new King made it to the meeting that he called.

Trelisa Perrault – We had to get here from Ottawa. Do you understand?

Madd jumps out of his chair, sending the chair flying, a sneer across his face.

Madd Morales – You calling me stupid?

Trelisa Perrault – Not at all.

Gabriel gets between the two of them.

Gabriel Tuck – Now, we are a family, and by our agreement Before the Lunar Warfare, I am our leader.

Madd Morales – And what does our great leader have to say?

Gabriel Tuck motions to the chair that had been knocked down. Madd sighs, picking it up and sitting back down. Trelisa stands by Gabriel.

Gabriel Tuck – We are down a member, maybe more. The Twins have been contracted to a different company.

Madd elbows Peak with a chuckle.

Madd Morales – And good riddance.

Gabriel Tuck – I’m not sure why the Duchess is not with us, but she is taking a leave of absence from the CWF. We are beset on all sides by enemies that want to see us fail.

Peak of Freak – And what should we do?

Gabriel Tuck – I don’t want to be the sounder of the obvious, but we need to win our matches tonight and on War Zone.

Madd Morales – Boss…did you really come in here and tell us to win?

Gabriel Tuck – I did.

Peak of Freak – Boo! State the obvious some more.

Madd Morales – Of course we’re going to win our matches tonight. Are you going to win yours? I take on Greg Salazar tonight and Peak takes on Gabriel Blight. You will be facing Kara and Trelisa gets Apathy. We should all have wins.

Gabriel Tuck – We can do this. We just need to do the right thing and win on our own while keeping to the concept where if they decide to attack us that we need to be ready to deal with them on an equal basis.

Madd Morales – That sounds right. If they come down in force, we will crush them.

Gabriel nods, turning away.

Gabriel Tuck – We will be here watching if you have need of us. I love these family meetings!

Gabriel Tuck and Trelisa Perrault leave the room, leaving Madd Morales and Peak of Freak alone again.

Jessica Carr – Sounds like the nKo is getting on the same page here after some turmoil. We’ll see if that’s good enough when we come back after this break.

Victoria Hill – When we come back, we name a new Elite Championship number one contender. As Gabriel Tuck and the Peak of Freak will be in action!

The show comes back and this time we’re camera to the ring as Marcela Sancho is ready.

Jessica Carr – Welcome back folks. We’re moving on to the next match tonight. Who will be the number one contender fo the Elite Championship. We’re commercial free until we’re done here… take it away Marcela!

Victoria Hill – Peak of Freak is coming!

Jessica Carr – Out. He’ll be coming out. Phasing, Viki. Phrasing!

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is a falls count anywhere match scheduled for one fall and the winner of which will gain a shot at the Elite champion. Coming up first, the challenger, weighing in at 349 pounds…he is the Peak of Freak!

The first whispered lines of the song “Stitch” by Wage War play, and the initial breakdown is followed by The Peak of Freak walking out from behind a black curtain. Walking to the center area of the ramp with a stone solid expression, he slowly turns his head to leer at both sides of the crowd. Then, as Peak raises his arms, black and red pyro go off on both sides of the ramp, descending towards his position. Smoke rises into the air, and when it dissipates, Peak charges the ring and jumps up onto the apron. Pushing down the top rope to climb over it and walking to the four corners of the ring, climbing to the middle turnbuckle at each corner, and covering his eyes to look out into the crowd and point at individual members.

Jessica Carr – Well, this is the first of the nKo having matches tonight. We will see if Gabriel Tuck’s cheering them on will have done any good.

Victoria Hill – He just told them to go out and win. Wonderful support there.

Jessica Carr – It could have been worse?

Victoria Hill – Yes, I suppose it could have been worse.

Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, weighing in at 265 pounds…he is Gabriel Blight!

The sounds of Karlie Nash -Releasing the Demons” fill the arena. Gabriel appears from backstage and paces toward the ring, pointing at the opponent. If he is the first to enter, he will slowly make his way toward the squared circle without much interaction with anyone.

Jessica Carr – So, Blight is a fighter through and through. He tried different things in life, but grew bored and quit.

Victoria Hill – Always looking for the next fight and always thinking that he’s better than everyone. My man will take him down.

Jessica Carr – Your man?

Victoria Hill – Well, yeah. The name might be different, but he’s still the same Mammoth to me. Hot and Ready!

As the bell sounds to start the match, the two warriors slam into one another with their shoulders and press against one another for dominance. The Peak of Freak begins pushing Blight toward the ropes before moving suddenly and whipping Blight toward the ropes on the opposite side. He hits a back drop on the rebound, sending Blight to the mat.

Gabriel Blight starts to get back up quickly, but the Peak of Freak storms over with a boot to the chest that sends him back down to the mat. Peak continues to stomp and kick the downed Blight until he can get rolled back to his feet and come at Peak with a hard right hand to the side of the head that staggers the bigger man. Peak returns the punch with vigor and the fight is on.

Jessica Carr – The two exchanging punches. I wonder who will come out on top?

Victoria Hill – The Peak of Freak natch.

Gabriel Blight comes out on top, continuing with a kick to the gut and a gutwrench suplex to put the Peak of Freak onto the mat! Gabriel rolls him over and goes for the cover! Referee Troy Reynolds gets into position for the cover.

….one

……two

……..thr-Peak of Freak kicks out!

Jessica Carr – Not enough harm to put him away yet.

Victoria Hill – Right? Not nearly enough to put away my man!

The Peak of Freak rolls out of the ring with Gabriel Blight following. They begin brawling in the aisle before the Peak of Freak breaks away and begins heading to the back. Gabriel Blight begins the chase, also heading to the back.

Jessica Carr – I guess we’re taking this match on the road.

Victoria Hill – It is a falls count anywhere match.

Jessica Carr – I know that. You know that. Has anyone told Troy that?

Victoria Hill – I don’t suppose they have. HEY, TROY! YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THEM!

Troy Reynolds blinks at Victoria Hill and then looks at the ConquestTron, where it shows the Peak of Freak and Gabriel Blight brawling outside of the arena in the parking lot. Gabriel grabs Peak by the back of the head and sends him face-first through the passenger front window of a car.

Troy Reynolds – THAT’S MY CAR!

Troy Reynolds runs to the back as we focus on the action going on outside of the arena. The Peak of Freak turns to face Gabriel Blight, blood streaming from several cuts on his face. He pulls an inch-long shard of glass from his right cheek and drops it on the ground before spearing Blight to the ground. He grabs Blight by the face and rams the back of his head into the parking lot pavement a few times before standing up and kicking Blight in the face!

Jessica Carr – Was that really Troy’s car?

Victoria Hill – Yeah. I had it moved up by the arena just in case.

Gabriel Blight sits up and feels the back of his head, his hand coming away covered in blood. The Peak of Freak pulls him up and bodyslams him onto the hood of the car hard enough that the shocks give out and the whole front of the car slumps down. Troy Reynolds gets outside and looks at his broken car with shock.

Jessica Carr – At least Troy can’t disqualify them for breaking his car. Why did you have it moved?

Victoria Hill – Troy is such a paladin. It makes me sick!

The Peak of Freak climbs up to the hood of the car and pulls Blight up to his feet before guiding him up onto the roof of the car. He puts Gabriel’s head between his legs as if to go for a power bomb, but Gabriel stands up while holding onto Peak’s legs and drops backwards to drive Peak’s head into the hood of the car, shattering the windshield with the impact. Troy Reynolds has his hands on the top of his head as he witnesses the total destruction of his car. Both Peak and Blight fall to the ground from the car’s hood.

Blight stands up first and pulls Peak up, hitting the Fallen Angel Driver onto the hood of the car before pulling him to the ground so that he can be pinned. Troy, noticeably crying, gets down to count.

….one

……two

……..three!

Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Gabriel Blight!

Jessica Carr – Looks like Gabriel Blight will be going on to face his old friend, Greg Salazar, for the Elite championship.

Victoria Hill – That really blows. Maybe I should go out there and kiss Peak’s boo-boos.

Jessica Carr – I don’t think you have time for that.

Victoria Hill – I know I don’t, but it’s the thought that counts.

Suddenly “Limits” by Bad Omens, the Cryptic Writings cover, starts to play through the arena.

Jessica Carr – Well, things are about to get interesting here. Here comes the Elite Champion.

The Conquest-Tron has the start: the three initials “GMS” come up and then break apart and the rest of the name files in: Gregory Michael Salazar. He steps out onto the stage and holds for a moment, while the crowd erupts. He’s dressed for his match. The Elite title around his waist, and he has on his BDU style combat pants, and boots. And the Bad Company emblazoned combat vest.

Victoria Hill – What a way to take away from the fact that one of these two fighters just won a shot at his title. Now just coming out here and taking all the glory for himself.

Greg Salazar keeps coming down to the ring. He quickly goes up the steps.and climbs into the ring. He’s handed a microphone really quick as he slips between the ropes.

The Conquesttron shows Gabriel Blight still on the screen in the back of the arena.

GMS looks at the Conquest Tron and shakes his head.

Greg Salazar – Peak of Freak, if you can hear me back there after Gabriel just took you out of the running. Hey, good job… not. You lost. We saw your little pack meeting back there. Go ahead and get out of here. Go tell your life partner you failed against someone who had your number tonight. I’m not going to add insult to injury… much.

Madd Morales seems to have appeared, checking on his usual tag team partner and stablemate, Peak of Freak.  The two look at the camera, but don’t say anything. Morales starts to walk towards the main part of the arena.

Jessica Carr – And Peak of Freak decides to not argue. Morales looks to be heading out here to get to his match and take what he just said up with Greg Salazar.

Victoria Hill – And we don’t exactly know if these two are still actually friends or not.

Salazar turns his attention to Gabriel Blight. He reaches behind his waist and takes off the Elite Championship, and holds it up.

Greg Salazar – Hey, now for you… Gabriel. Mr. Blight. Welcome back to the CWF. And I guess congrats. Just a reminder. If you want this. You are going to have to go…. through… me.  Any questions?

Blight just smiles at him and shakes his head.

Blight just leans into the camera a bit, and says something simple.

Gabriel Blight – Just keep the belt shined up, champ. But remember, that’s just a target. Eventually someone will take you down. I’m just aiming for it to be me. You’ve fallen before. You’ll do it again.

Salazar smiles at him, and then drops the belt down.

Greg Salazar – Just show up this time. But on that note. Congrats on your win. Not second best tonight. Keep an eye on the next match though. I’m not the same person I was the last time you were here. Keep an eye out as well. The fed has changed. More people. More talent.

Gabriel Blight – Noted. Just remember I’m the one who eliminated you from the Rumble.

Greg Salazar – After the Elite X match right before. And you still didn’t win it. I just hope you’re ready for the violence that the Elite Title, a title that wasn’t even around yet when you were last here, is all about.

Gabriel Blight nods, smiles, and the camera cuts off from the backstage area.

Jessica Carr – Well, not sure they’re still friends. I mean, Greg Salazar did say he’s not heard from Gabriel Blight at all since he left during the build up to tonight’s show.

Victoria Hill – We don’t know anything except that right now Gabriel Blight has earned a shot at the Elite Championship. And he’s the man who eliminated Greg Salazar from the Lunar Warfare Rumble.

Marcela Sancho – The following match up is scheduled for one fall with TV Time remaining for the time limit.  Introducing first, already in the ring. He comes in at 6’ 1” and 230 lbs. This is the current and reigning CWF Elite Champion. Representing the Bad Company Stable. He is “The Paragon” Greg Salazar.

His music starts up again, and he raises his hand before he puts the Elite Championship on the ground in the corner, and then starts to take off his combat vest.

Jessica Carr – Well the last match determined who would be a number one contender. So he was already out here.

Marcela Sancho – And the next in this match:

Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia and representing the New Kharnival Order. This is “The Airdevil” Madd Morales!

The arena plunges into darkness. A low rumble kicks in under the silence then- “Beggin on her knees to be popular!”

The distorted, otherworldly beat of “EvilJordan” by Playboi Carti slithers through the speakers like venom in a vein. Red strobes flash in erratic pulses as static crackles across the tron. Then, from the back, through a curtain of smoke that glows hellish crimson, he emerges, draped in a black designer trench that sways with each step, hood shadowing his face. He moves like someone who owns the ground beneath him. Its slow, cocky, like the devil on his day off. Every bounce in his step carries swagger, but in his silence, there’s something simmering. Something cruel. Something just waiting for someone to pull the pin. As the beat hits harder. He lifts his head.

His eyes shine under the flickering lights as he takes a deep breath, almost as if he is getting high on his own myth. A slow smirk curls across his lips. He drags a single finger across his throat and then points to the ring like he’s blessing it for sacrifice.

At ringside, he sheds the trench coat slowly and deliberately, revealing taped fists ripped punk rock jeans that have various anarchism themed patches that change every night, save for the ones on his left and right legs that read “Air” and “Devil”.

He climbs the steps and turns his back to the ring for a moment, soaking in the judgment from every soul watching. Then he spins and steps through the ropes like he’s entering church. He doesn’t posture. He just waits, eyes locked forward, body still, the music fading into a final eerie pulse.

Morales asks for a microphone.

Madd Morales – Hey, Greg. Greg Salazar. You know the last few Elite Champions are all about being fighting champs. So how about we just turn this into what these people really want to see. You put that belt up on the line tonight. I am a former champion who never got a rematch against the previous owner.

Salazar, rolling his shoulders to warm up, suddenly looks over his shoulder at Morales with a look of disbelief.

He grabs the microphone he’d just had and brings it up to his lips.

Greg Salazar – You know. I half expected this. Let me spell it out for you. The CWF doesn’t do rematches. When I lost the Conquest championship, I had to re-earn a shot. I earned my spot in the Star Chamber Match where Kronin won it. When Bad Company lost the Tag Belts, no rematch yet. And you’re not exactly the last Elite Champion, anyway.

Madd Morales – Aren’t you a fighting champion type of guy?

Greg Salazar – I would be. Except the CWF has shown me and others that’s not the case. But you can earn your shot. The same way others have had the chance. I was told before Naval Warfare that if Kintaru had beaten me… he’d get added to the match I had with Riot. And of course recently, Kreigson was told if he beat Dresden in their match before Lunar Warfare, he could have been added to the Conquest Title match. Now neither of them did it, but if you can win tonight. I guess you’d be looking at a shot. Huh? Easy, peasy, right?

Morales smirks.

Madd Morales – So you’re going to not answer a challenge.

Greg Salazar – You know. I could. But you’re not ready for me to do that. The CWF backstage is not ready for that tonight. You see how challenging works… you have decided the time and place. That would mean that I would choose the type of match. The gimmick. I’ll point you back in time again. You want a match like I had with Eddie Williams? You want to go through a fucking death match tonight?

Morales doesn’t answer.

Greg Salazar – Like I said. The crew backstage arean’t ready for that. We’ve not been cleared fo that. So how about you just concentrate on winning the match first. Then the CWF will choose to grant your request or not. Like they always do. Right now you just need to show me how much I should respect your moxy. Am I going to slam your face to the mat, or drop you on your head.

Victoria Hill – I’d think that Greg Salazar has something against the CWF’s bookers and policies here.

Jessica Carr – It sounds like it does.

Greg Salazar – Now let’s show the rest of them how it’s done? This is the main event of the supposed bottom tier show, right?

Jessica Carr – Bottom Tier Show?

The referee steps to the middle of the ring and calls for the bell.

DING! DING!

Both men have to drop their microphones. Morales steps in first with a bicycle knee strike. He then grabs the back of Salazar’s head, and jumps to the nearest second rope and turns it into a form of bulldog.

Gabriel Blight appears on the ramp, walking down to the ringside area.

Jessica Carr – Morales may have been denied a title shot tonight. But he has his mission set forth in front of him. He has to win and then he’ll get a shot at the Elite Title.

Victoria Hill – We could end up with two contenders for the Elite Championship tonight. And what is Gabriel Blight doing down here now?

Gabriel Tuck is seen grabbing a spare metal chair that had been left at ringside, unfolding it and setting up at the bottom of the ramp to sit and watch the match.

Morales pops up to his feet, and hits the ropes, coming off with a springboard moonsault, but Salazar pulls his legs up to put his shins to Morale’s midsection.

Jessica Carr – And Morales starts hot, but that’ll slow him down a bit.

Morales rolls off, holding his midsection. Salazar kips up to his feet, and grabs Morales to pull him up to his feet. He locks in a full nelson and lifts, but Morales moves his feet to kick the ropes, knocking them both back to the mat before GMS can hit the Memento Mori.

Blight grabs a chair and unfolds it to sit down near the bottom of the ramp.

Victoria Hill – Except he had Greg Salazar scouted, and knew to block the early finish attempt.

Morales kips up to his feet, and scrambles to get momentum. Salazar is quick to his feet. Morales comes off the ropes, but Salazar is right there. GMS lifts Morales into a pop up and then catches him with the roaring elbow as he comes back down. Morales stumbles back with the hit, gets spun around… half nelson and a Ring Toss Suplex that plants him into a corner, slamming him into the turnbuckles.

Jessica Carr – Ring Toss suplex from the Elite Champion.

Victoria Hill – Not sure he’ll get a prize on that one, though. But it did the damage.

Marcela Sancho – 20 Minutes of TV Time remaining!

Jessica Carr – And 20 minutes left here in tonight’s broadcast.

Salazar goes to the Corner, and plants a couple of stomps onto Morales as he’s slumped down after the previous moves. Salazar reaches down and grabs Morales’ arm to pull him out of the corner, but Morales holds onto a rope with the other hand. When the move stops, and GMS turns around to look, Morales drops, almost a modified arm drag, and slams Salazar’s face into the middle turnbkcle. Morales gets out from under the Elite Champion.

Victoria Hill – And Madd Morales showing why he’s the leader of the nKo!

Jessica Carr – Except he’s not.

Victoria Hill – What?

Jessica Carr – We just saw it before this. Gabriel Tuck has taken the nKo over. Morales is just cannon-fodder now.

Victoria Hill – Well, if he gets a shot at the Elite Title, he’ll be on his way back to reclaiming the leadership role.

Morales holds onto the two ropes in the corner and jumps up, to then slam his knees to Salazar’s back as he was starting to come up. He jumps up again now that Salazar is down to the mat, and this time puts both feet to his middle back.

He then launches himself over the ropes to the apron on the outside, drops down and jumps up to deliver a dropkick that slams Salazar’s head to the side of the corner stanchion.

Victoria Hill – And I have to say, Madd Morales is on fire tonight. Salazar is going to be feeling all of that.

As Morales gets back up, GMS rolls out of the corner, getting away from it all. He’s holding his head a bit after that last hit. Morales climbs the ring apron using the corner stairs. He sets up for a slingshot into the ring. He hops to the top rope, and then bounces to the other direction, and comes off with a moonsault. He catches Salazar’s head, and drives him to the mat with a tornado DDT.

He tries for a pin.

… One

…… Two.

…. Greg Salazar kicks out!

Jessica Carr – Madd Morales hits the Inferno DDT, but it wasn’t enough to put the Elite Champion down!

Marcela Sancho – 15 minutes of TV Time remaining!

Both men scramble to their feet. Morales hits the ropes, and comes off. He hooks Salazar’s arm on the move, and then comes up across his back. He tries to hit a crucifix driver, but GMS blocks it. Salazar moves Morales’s legs up to angle him more, and then drops down in a modified air raid crash instead.

Jessica Carr – And GMS just about dropped Morales on his head there, just not the way he usually wants to do it.

GMS pulls Morales up to his feet, and then hooks him for a Saito style side suplex. He pulls him up and drops him down more vertical than most would. He holds on, and rolls with Morales and brings him back up, and double chickenwings his arms. He lifts and takes him over with a Tiger Suplex. GMS tries to bridge for a pin.

… One

…… Two

…. Morales kicks out.

Both men come up, but GMS grabs him with a front face lock, and then kicks him in the face with a short scorpion kick. He then pushes him back, grabs his arm, and rip cords him into a snapping exploder suplex.

Jessica Carr – And now for the suplexes. You can tell that GMS has been hanging out with the Reinhardts.

GMS pulls Morales up, but Morales brings his knee up to his opponent’s midsection. He hooks him for a DDT, but GMS trips him, causing them to roll into a pinning predicament with a Ganasuke Clutch.

… One

…… Two

……… The… Morales manages to kick out at the last second with the surprise maneuver.

Jessica Carr – Surprise roll up with a Ganasuke Clutch almost ended this match.

Morales grabs GMS as he’s coming to his feet. He grabs his head and a leg, and tries to flip him over for a 360 GTS, but GMS blocks the hit with both forearms. Salazar grabs Morales after and whips him to the ropes.

He catches Morales as he comes off with a huge running spear, that takes the man down. He then pulls back and starts to rain down martial arts style strikes, including elbows. Morales pulls his arms up to block the strikes from hitting him in the face.

Victoria Hill – Hey, this isn’t cool. Get in their ref!

Jessica Carr – There aren’t any closed fists in those.

Morales pushes out from under Salazar and gets up to his feet. He grabs Salazar as he’s coming up and slams him down with a DDT. He then rolls after the landing and locks in a calf slicer submission!

Jessica Carr – Morales trying to wear down the Elite Champion’s ankle here.

Marcela Sancho – !0 minutes of TV time remaining!

The referee checks with Greg Salazar who shakes his head no as to submitting. Salazar starts to do a military training type crawl, pulling towards the ropes. Morales tries to pull back, putting more pressure on the hold.

Victoria Hill – I’m not sure that hold is the best option here, since Greg Salazar wears combat boots. It’s not going to put as much pressure on if he was wearing more flexible wrestling boots.

Salazar continues to pull the two of them towards the ropes. Eventually he is close enough to grab the bottom rope.

The referee starts a five count to break the hold.

… 1

… 2

Morales seems to not be wanting to let the hold go.

… 3

… 4

… Morales lets it go at the very last second.

Jessica Carr – Well he did as much damage as he could with that hold.

Morales is the first to his feet, and pulls Salazar up. Salazar drops down to one knee, holding that ankle that had just been in the hold. Morales forces him to his feet, and whiel he’s bent over a bit, delivered a couple of knees, then a back elbow… he jumps up to deliver the finish to the combo, but Salazar sidesteps, and blocks with with a dual forearm block.

Victoria Hill – The finish to the Grunge Shot Combo blocked.

Salazar starts to deliver a combination of cutting kicks to his smaller opponent, then finishes with a back elbow, a spinning backfits, and then steps back and delivers a spinning back heel kick that drops Morales to the mat.

Jessica Carr- And a Mosh Pit combo into a Mic Drop!

Morales scrambles, holding his face from the elbow, backfist and then the kick all hitting in the same area. Salazar comes in and tries for another cutting kick, but Morales drops into a low leg sweep, dropping him down. Morales rushes from that to climb up the turnbuckle, but GMS is right behind him. Salazar grabs him as he’s half way up the turnbuckle and drops him down with a Sniper Shot version of the lungblower.

Salazar tries for a pinfall.

… One

…… Two

Morales kicks out!

Jessica Carr – And that was a close one again. But Madd Morales is still in this match up.

GMS pulls Morales up to his feet. He tries to lock him into a full nelson, but when he Morales drops out of it! He hops to the ropes and comes off with a springboard backwards into a leg lariat!

Marcela Sancho – 5 Minutes of TV time Remaining.

Salazar ducks under the flying leg lariat. He keeps running, and hopes to the second rope and comes off with an attempted Kabar Kick, but Morales matrix dodges that.

Jessica Carr – Both men are still dodging shots from each other here. And we’re running out of time!

When Salazar lands, he starts a spinning backfist that catches Morales in the jaw. As he stumbles back. Salazar grabs him and pulls him up into an inverted fireman’s carry.

Jessica Carr – He’s going to try for that Oni Driver, what he is now calling the Dark Disquiet.

Victoria Hill – And if the CWF had any move that should be declared illegal, it’s this one.

Before Salazar can hit the Dark Disquiet, Morales rakes his eyes causing him to drop him down. Morales rolls out of the ring, coming up to his feet at the bottom of the ramp to the back.

Gabriel Blight stands up as Morales is standing there. The referee comes over to warn Morales that he needs to get back into the ring.

Marcela Sancho – 3 minutes of TV Time remaining!

Jessica Carr – Not sure I’d be happy with Gabriel Blight being out there.

Greg Salazar opens the ropes up, and motions for Morales to get back into the ring. The referee is right there and threatens to start a count.

Morales moves away from where Salazar is, reaches up and grabs the ropes with one hand. He starts to climb up to the apron, but Gabriel Blight suddenly rushes him, and grabs him and jerks him off the apron, dropping him down to the rubber mat covered floor.

The referee calls for the bell.

Victoria Hill – Wait, what?

Jessica Carr – Gabriel Blight just attacked Madd Morales!

Victoria Hill – Not too hard though!

Morales comes up and pushes Blight back. But Blight just puts his hands up to about shoulder height and takes a step back.

Jessica Carr – Wait a minute?

Marcela Sancho – Greg Salazar has been disqualified. The winner of this match… Madd Morales!

Victoria Hill – Wait, I get what you’re getting at here. A win is a win. Madd Morales just got a win over Greg Salazar and should now be getting a shot at the CWF Elite Championship!

Jessica Carr – Time limit running out, what did Gabriel Blight do!

The show’s credits start to roll as Greg Salazar is seen coming to the ropes and saying a few things. Gabriel Blight just points to his head, and can be heard saying.

Gabriel Blight – Remember, you always complained that if Kintaru wanted Riot to lose, he should have attacked you. Not him. Think about it.

Jessica Carr – Wait. He. I’m not sure what is happening here.

Victoria Hill – Goes back to Season 1, when we weren’t here. I’m going to go have to review some of those shows. But if I remember, Kintaru came in and had issues with Rob Riot. Riot and Salazar, at the time Tetsuo Oni, had a match where the winner would pick the stipulation for their match at Naval Warfare. And Kintaru attacked Riot, making him the winner and he got to pick the stipulation and gimmick for their match up. Its always been speculated that kintaru might have been in league with Riot, because if he had hated Riot that much, he would have given Oni the win, to pick the stipulation. But we know now that Kintaru was just not that smart.

Jessica Carr – Okay, that makes sense, I guess. And we’re out of time. I think Blight knew that Morales would get the job done. This could have been at time limit draw dur to TV time remaining. We’re out of there. Tune in for Warzone!

Victoria Hill – And remember…

Both – #JoinTheConquest!
