Show Opening
As the theme song for Vanguard plays, recaps from last episode start to play with Apathy getting a pinfall victory over Lana Hill. It then goes to Madd Morales taking out “Wicked” Kat Hale with his devil slayer submission.
It then shows Trelissa Perault scoring a submission win over Frank Windsor in what turned out to be his final match in the CWF That’s followed by the finale between Father Nathan O’Connell using the heart punch on Gabriel Tuck and then Tuck leaving the arena via an ambulance, with Esmerelda Von Krauss going with him to the hospital… or wherever it went.
It finishes with the Valor title match between the champion, Miguel Lanza, Jr as he fought Danielle Williams. It ends as the duo of Vespertine and Karlie Nash, eNVy, as they both attack Lanza and Williams, and leave after acquiring the Valor Title, but not actually winning it.
It then cuts to the crowd, where the information bubble tells you that Vanguard tonight is coming to you from the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas and that 8,765 CWF fans have joined them live for the show in the Arena, out of a ringed event capacity of about 10,000.
The CWF Patented four drone flyby starts at one end of the arena, and then goes to the other, showing four different views to the viewers at home, until all four get to the stage area.
Fireworks go off, and the crowd cheers as the audio switches over to our hosts. The main view cuts to them and the show officially starts up.
Jessica Carr – Good evening, and welcome to Conquest Wrestling Presents, Vanguard! We’re in the fourth cycle of Season 4, only one more after tonight until Lunar Warfare and the CWF landscape has changed already. But we need to see just what is going to go on as we are heading out way to that big show! So welcome and thank you for joining us. I’m Jessica Carr, and this is my cohort, Victoria Hill.
Victoria HIll – Thank you, Jessie. And we have a hell of a show for you tonight. First, our main event tonight is coming off last Vanguard. As the challenge was laid out. Not only did they lay claim to the Valor title, but Vespertine and Karlie Nash both challenged for the Valor title currently held by Miguel Lanza, Jr. So our main event tonight will be a Triple Threat match for the Valor title.
Jessica Carr – More like a handicap match. But, the triple threat stip does add some interesting outcomes to tonight’s main event. Would eNVy turn on each other with the promise of CWF’s silver belt?
Victoria HIll – We’ll also have another huge matchup. As much as I hate to admit it, but Fiona O’Connell will be taking on Tetsuo Oni, who in our affiliate, the FWA just secured their Television Title. That’s not on the line, but some interesting developments in our lead up to this match tonight. Tetsuo Oni said that Fiona O’Connell has an offer on the table to join with the Upstarts. She just has to say yes.
Jessica Carr – And that would be a huge acquisition for them as well, bringing their number to six if she did join up. And with the power shift, that would really secure the Upstarts, composed of all 2nd generation wrestlers, securing the top spot in the CWF.
Victoria HIll – Last Vanguard we had the return of Apathy, and tonight we’ll also have the return of her other half, the Irish Assassin, Eoin O’Rourke will be here, taking on the man who put him on the shelf for a little bit, the newly rechristened into the nKo, Gabriel Tuck.
Jessica Carr – Those two do not like each other at all, and that could lead to this match being a bit bloody. Although last Vanguard, after facing Father Nathan, Tuck was taken to a local medical facility after the damage done by Nathan’s HeartPunch. Is he ready for this match tonight?
Victoria HIll – We’ll see. But that’s going to lead us to our first match… take it away Marcela!
Singles Match – Steve Murdock vs Johnny Sniper

Marcela Sancho – The following contest has been scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, hailing from Dallas, Texas…he is Steve Murdock!
The opening notes of “Walk” by Pantera play as Steve Murdock stands at the entry way as the wave of crowd sentiment of either boos or cheers reach a fever pitch. He then raises his barbed wire wrapped kendo stick in the air and jogs to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and goes to each ring corner, hyping up the crowd.
Jessica Carr – The crowd welcomes back Steve Murdock. Whether you love him or hate him, he’s a fighter.
Victoria HIll – Welcoming him back? He didn’t go anywhere?
Jessica Carr – He was sorta checked out for a bit when he was depressed, but the soldier boy here seemed to have relit the fire in Steve Murdock. He looks ready to kick some ass.
Victoria HIll – Well, that certainly seems to be true. Steve Murdock does look fired up to be in this match.
Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, hailing from Parris Island, South Carolina…he is Johnny Sniper!
The arena lights dim as “Jonny Sniper” by Enter Shikari begins to play. The crowd erupts as Johnny Sniper steps out onto the stage, his eyes scanning the crowd with military precision. Wearing his signature camo pants, brown boots, and green wrist tape, he raises a hand in a crisp salute before marching down the ramp. His movements are methodical, exuding discipline and focus as he climbs the ring steps and enters the ring, ready for battle.
Jessica Carr – The crowd is welcoming Johnny Sniper back too.
Victoria HIll – He was MIA for a bit, but he seems back and better than ever.
Jessica Carr – This could be a great match in the making.
Victoria HIll – Oh yes.
As the bell sounds to begin the match, Steve Murdock and Johnny Sniper get face to face in the center of the ring. The mics can’t pick up what they are saying to one another, but they are looking mad as they talk.
Jessica Carr – I think that Steve promised to stick that barbed wire kendo stick where the sun doesn’t shine.
Victoria HIll – Really?
Jessica Carr – No. I think he said that he was gonna hit Johnny so hard that his momma is gonna bear the scar.
Victoria HIll – Are you just making shit up?
Jessica Carr – Maybe.
Victoria HIll – I mean. I wouldn’t be shocked if Steve had said any of those things.
The two speak for a few more moments before Johnny slams Steve in the mouth with a hard right hand. Steve responds with one of his own and the fight is on as the two brawl back and forth in trying to gain an upper hand. Steve stuns Johnny with an uppercut and sends him into the ropes with an Irish whip. On the rebound, Steve goes for a clothesline, but Johnny ducks under the arm and gets to the ropes on the other side. He comes back again, and Steve goes for a backdrop. Johnny stops in his tracks and kicks Steve in the face!
Johnny gets Steve in a front face lock and applies the pressure, twisting his head for a few seconds to drag him toward the center of the ring before dropping him with a DDT! He quickly goes for the cover. Referee, Troy Reynolds, gets into position to make the count.
….one
……two
……..thr-Steve kicks out!
Jessica Carr – Johnny goes in hard with the offensive, but it’s too early to count Steve Murdock out yet.
Victoria HIll – You know it.
Johnny Sniper gets back to his feet and is quickly followed by Steve Murdock. They clash for a few more seconds before Johnny whips Steve into the ropes and grabs him on the rebound for a spinebuster! Johnny gets right back to his feet and begins kicking Steve in the ribs as he tries to get up.
Johnny walks over to the corner where Steve’s kendo stick lies on the ring apron. He looks at Troy Reynolds with a smile.
Troy Reynolds – Nope! This match isn’t hardcore! You don’t get to use that!
Johnny just shrugs and walks over to where Steve is still working on getting up and kicks him hard in the ribcage that sends Steve up nearly a foot into the air from being on all fours. He lands back on the mat and coughs up blood onto the mat.
Johnny Sniper – You gonna get up? Come on. Let’s not make this no fun.
Steve Murdock gets up as Johnny runs over to hit him with another hard right hand. Steve catches the fist and pulls Johnny in for a massive headbutt! Johnny staggers backwards and is bowled over when Steve hits a heart punch while charging him. Johnny hits the mat and is trampled by Murdock.
Steve pulls Johnny up into the start of a suplex position, but Johnny blocks going up into the air as Steve looks to hook a leg for the M-Pact Plex. Johnny pulls him down into a small package for the cover! Troy Reynolds gets into position for the count!
….one
……two
……..thre-Steve Murdock kicks out!
Jessica Carr – Johnny almost with the win there!
Victoria HIll – Right? He gets better and better with each match.
Johnny kneels up and looks to Troy, who is sure to display two fingers for the two count. Johnny gets up and pulls Steve up with him. Johnny steps back and goes for a superkick, but Steve ducks under the attempt and Troy is struck in the jaw instead, going down for the count! Johnny looks on with wide eyes at what he has done. He then looks around for he has lost Steve Murdock, who slams him in the side of the head with the barbed wire kendo stick. Johnny spins and falls to the mat, blood flying about the ring from his mouth like he were a wicked sprinkler.
Steve tosses the kendo stick with a smile and walks over to wake Troy, who slowly wakes up. Steve walks back to the rising Johnny and kicks him in the gut and gets him up into the air and nails the M-Pack Suplex! He goes for the cover and Troy Reynolds slowly gets into position for the count.
….one
……two
……..three!
Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Steve Murdock!
Jessica Carr – It’s been a long time coming, but Steve got a win!
Victoria HIll – Johnny didn’t do all that bad himself so I hope he doesn’t get discouraged.
Steve Murdock celebrates in the center of the ring while Johnny Sniper heads to the back. The crowd cheered.
“Hardcore Icon!”
“Hardcore Icon!”
“Hardcore Icon!”
Jessica Carr – Now, as I understand things, neither Bruce Hendrix or Duchess Lana Hill made it to the arena so their match is going to be canceled tonight.
Victoria HIll – So, we are going to go straight to Eoin O’Rourke against Gabriel Tuck!
Jessica Carr – We will, but first a word from our sponsors!

The show comes back with the camera on the ring, with Marchela Sancho standing there.
Jessica Carr – Welcome back. We’re ready to get started with our second match of the night, as the returning Eoin O’Rourke will take on Gabriel Tuck.
Victoria HIll – And how things have changed in the short time since these two last fought. Gabriel Tuck has gone from ally to Rob Riot fighting against the Von Krausses, to now once again in the fold with them. And Eoin O’Rourke has returned from what I would suspect was an injury at the hands of Gabriel Tuck in their last match up.
Jessica Carr – Well lets see how they both fair in a rematch tonight!
Singles Match – Eoin O’Rourke vs Gabriel Tuck

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, hailing from Leitrim, Ireland…he is Eoin O’Rourke!
Lights dim in the arena as guitar rifts in the arena. Then as “Just Close Your Eyes” by Fivefold reaches a high point.
“OH!”
A sole light shines on the stage with Eoin O’Rourke standing on the stage with his eyes closed, arms stretched wide and hands open
“Its a smoke and mirror’s. It’s a day in day out prison,
You’re living in, it’s smothering the power in you.”
Eoin opens his eyes and lowers his arms and begins marches down the ramp
“When the world’s out of control
And time is always racing
Everybody has a place
Where they can let it go”
Eoin makes it to ringside and he stands in front of the ring. He begins cracking his neck and hopping on the sides, then he dives into the ring and rolls to stand back up with his arms stretched again with a green spotlight over him
“And fall into the feeling
Take a breath and never leave it
When the world is overwhelming
Just close your eyes, you’ll find the
Strength to seize the day
Nothing standing in your way
Just fall into the feeling
Take a breath, it’s time to let it go
It’s time to let it go”
Eoin lowers his arms and walks around the ring, taking off his red glasses and jacket and readying for the match.
Jessica Carr – Eoin is back and ready for action. However, the rumors are that he is mostly ready for some tag team action to get in on the titles that the Bastards left behind.
Victoria HIll – It is a massive power vacuum left by the Bastards. I’m sure that it can be filled.
Marcela Sancho – And his opponent, hailing from the Road, he is the newest member of the nKo…Gabriel Tuck!
“Iron Wolf” by Beastwars begins playing as Gabriel Tuck walks out from the back and howls to the fans. He gets resounding boos back. Gabriel resigns himself to the hate and makes his way down to the ring where he grins upon seeing Eoin O’Rourke in the ring. He rolls into the ring and gets right in Eoin’s face.
Gabriel Tuck – You come here to lose too? Your old lady wasn’t that much effort. You ain’t nuthin’ too. I can take a hundred of you in the ring and not bat a fucking eye. Why don’t you call down your buddies again? Make this a fair fight? Or…you could just hand your blushing bride over. Takes a real man like me to satisfy her!
Eoin responds with a hard right hand to the midsection that doubles Gabriel over. A few elbows to the back of the head keep him doubled over so that he can hit a gutwrench suplex. He drops a knee to the midsection and begins laying into Gabriel with lefts and rights.
Eoin O’Rourke – You think this is a game?
Eoin stands up and goes to the ropes as Gabriel sits up, blood streaming from his nose. Eoin comes back to him and kicks Gabriel in the side of the face, sending blood and spittle spraying across the ring. O’Rourke climbs the turnbuckle and cracks his neck. He applies a pair of green-lensed goggles onto his face before he leaps off of the top rope to do a diving elbow! He strikes the mat as Gabriel rolls out of the way and to his feet!
Gabriel spits blood onto the mat.
Jessica Carr – A bit early in the match for a high-risk move.
Victoria HIll – He was angry beyond belief.
Gabriel walks over as Eoin is trying to get back up and stomps on his hand, causing Eoin to roll over and grasping at his hand in pain.
Gabriel Tuck – Of course, this is a game, Eoin! A game I intend to win!
Gabriel kicks Eoin in the ribcage until he rolls away and back to his feet. Eoin comes rushing back at Gabriel, putting a shoulder to him to try to knock him back down, but Gabriel doesn’t budge.
Jessica Carr – These two seem to be the exact same weight. I don’t know how Eoin thought that this would have worked.
Victoria HIll – He had momentum behind him, but Gabriel stood strong.
Gabriel laughs, but O’Rourke hugs him, then uses his full might to lift him over his head and chucks him over in a move called “Over da Pond”. When Gabriel tries to get back up, Eoin grabs him by the shoulders and hits a knee lift to the face, and then another! He drops Gabriel to the mat and goes for the cover. The referee gets into position for the count.
….one
……two
……..thr-Gabriel kicks out!
Jessica Carr – What a move! Gabriel is bleeding all over the place now from those knees to the face.
Victoria HIll – He shouldn’t have run his mouth at the start of the match.
Jessica Carr – No, I suppose not.
Victoria HIll – He probably wouldn’t be bleeding now if he had kept his mouth shut.
Eoin O’Rourke stands up and watches as Gabriel is slow to get up, failing at least once. He grabs him around the waist. He starts to deadlift Gabriel up when Gabe grabs him by the ears and headbutts him with all of his might! Eoin releases Gabriel and falls to his back. Gabriel staggers and falls to the mat as well. The referee looks at both men down and begins to count them out.
1…2…3…4…5…6…7…Eoin gets to his feet while Gabriel sits up. Eoin climbs to the top rope and adjusts his goggles. He looks down as Gabriel falls onto his back again. He gets ready to jump when Trelisa Perrault jumps up onto the ring apron.
Jessica Carr – Why is she here?
Victoria HIll – Marcela did say that Gabriel had joined the nKo…
The referee storms over to get Trelisa down and this is where Eoin’s attention goes when Gabriel jumps up and reaches into a pocket. He nails Eoin with the PIE brass knuckles and press slams him into the center of the ring. He tosses the weapon from the ring and goes for the cover. Trelisa sees this and jumps down from the ring apron so that the ref can get back to work. He gets into position to count the pinfall.
….one
……two
……..three!
Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match via pinfall…Gabriel Tuck!
Trelisa Perrault slides into the ring to raise Gabriel’s hand in victory. Trelisa rolls out of the ring and grabs something from under the ring, rolling it to Gabriel.
Jessica Carr – Is that a spray can?
Victoria HIll – Sure looks like it. The nKo is going old school.
Gabriel spray paints “nKo” on Eoin’s chest and they continue to celebrate Gabriel’s win in the ring.
Jessica Carr – Just disgusting!
Victoria HIll – Look out!
Elizabeth Devereaux-O’Rourke runs down to the ring with a steel chair in hand and runs Gabriel and Trelisa out. She stands over her man with the steel chair, ready to use it as Gabriel and Trelisa decide if they want to get back into the ring to fight her or not.
Jessica Carr – At least they can’t do any more harm.
Victoria HIll – Well, I mean, more of the nKo could come down, but Lana isn’t here tonight and Madd. Is Madd Morales still nKo?
Jessica Carr – That, I don’t know.
Victoria HIll – I mean he probably is.
Jessica Carr – Next up, we have Fiona O’Connell as she takes on Tetsuo Oni IV!
Victoria HIll – Should be an interesting match as Fiona takes on more Upstarts.
Jessica Carr – But first, one more commercial break tonight!

Segment – Gabriel Tuck, Trelisa Perrault, Fiona O’Connell

The show comes back from commercial and it’s backstage.
Gabriel Tuck and Trelisa Perrault are walking toward the medical office to get Gabriel looked at when they see Fiona O’Connell walking toward the staging area for her match. Gabriel leans on the wall to cut Fiona off. She looks at him and sees the blood-covered face and chest.
Gabriel Tuck – You’ve been impressing of late, little girl. Maybe you should come join the New Kharnival Order where we can really get you trained on how to defeat them Upstarts.
Fiona narrows her eyes as Gabriel blocks her path and actually clenches her fist when he makes his sales pitch to her before laughing.
Fiona O’Connell – Are ye daft?! After what ya just gone and did to my countrymen out there I’m supposed to just swoon and go with you? Sorry. I’ll take me chances with the Upstarts. Least I know they won’t be throwin’ me under the bus the moment I’m not of use to them. Like Armand and Esmeralda did to you before. Like they will once more.
Trelisa Perrault – Oh, chérie, spare them your loyalty. The Upstarts use you with prettier lies, that’s all. At least in the nKo, we show our knives before we carve the path.
Gabriel Tuck touches his heart with a frown.
Gabriel Tuck – I should be more mad at what your father did to me. Esmeralda saved my life and now…I owe her. Joining us is a leg up. I mean, we haven’t bounced anyone from the nKo yet. The clowns that were bounced were before the nKo was a thing. They do not count.
Fiona looks at Trelisa and sighs.
Fiona O’Connell – Abby says you’re good folk.
She looks back to Gabriel.
Fiona O’Connell – You know as well as I do if my father wanted ya dead, you’d be.. How did Ms. Salinas say it? ‘As dead as fuckin’ disco”? I asked my da what happened. He said you were already injured.. Said your ribs broke easier than he was expectin’.
Fiona thinks for a moment.
Fiona O’Connell – Also. Upstarts have also not ejected anyone from them. But I may be new as a fighter, but I came here at the same time as my da did. If I’ve seen anything from Esmeralda and Armand, it’s that they dunnae care about any of the wrestlers, even the ones workin’ for them and they cannae be trusted.
Gabriel seems to consider for a moment and he grins brightly as an idea forms.
Gabriel Tuck – Why don’t you make it fair. You and a member of your precious little Upstarts against me and ‘Lisa here. We win, you join us and take the lead. You win, we both defect from the nKo and leave Madd and Lana by themselves. What say you?
Trelisa’s smile tightens, the corners of her mouth cool and deliberate. Her gaze flicks to Gabriel — not reproachful, just… evaluating. Dangerous in silk gloves.
Trelisa Perrault – Zat’s quite the wager, mon ami. Risky. But Zen… I’ve always had a fondness for games I don’t lose. Ehehe
She giggles softly.
Fiona seems like she might share Trelisa’s caution but she is Irish and young and that can lead to recklessness. Fiona nods.
Fiona O’Connell – Fine. 1 stipulation. No interference in the match. Your team vs. my team. No nKo getting involved during the match. I’d say the same thing about the Upstarts, but the Upstarts don’t get involved during a match unless the other side does first.
Gabriel laughs as he stands up to let Fiona by.
Gabriel Tuck – All good. No interference and no cheating. See, ‘Lisa? Win or lose, we get some practice in so we can win those tag titles.”
Trelisa seems to consider and nods.
Trelisa Perrault – Let us give a show worth remembering non?”
Fiona makes her way past Gabriel as she prepares to head out for her match
Jessica Carr – And the offer is made to Fiona O’Connell to join the nKo!
Victoria HIll – More importantly she made a match for next cycle. Tuck and Perrault against O’Connell and if she can get one of the Upstarts to be her partner.
Jessica Carr – She’ll have 5 volunteers in the upstarts to be her partner. Don’t worry about that. But now, lets go to the ring for Fiona O’Connell versus Tetsuo Oni!
Singles Match – Fiona O’Connell vs Tetsuo Oni IV

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit. Introducing first, she comes in at 5’ 6” and 135 lbs… hailing from Dublin, Ireland… this is FIONA O’CONNELL!
As ‘Blood’ by Dropkick Murphys plays over the PA, Fiona comes out from the back very much like a boxer, jogging in place, hopping from one foot to the other. She is clearly singing along with her entrance song but no mics picks up her voice and she lets loose a lightning fast flurry of punches before holding up her right hand into the air.
Her Mother, Tera, stands behind her and Fiona makes her way to the ring slowly, stopping to shake hands with fans and as the fans cheer, she seems to feed off their energy and then, finally makes her way to the ring where she climbs in and throws another combination of punches and then moves to a corner and waits for her opponent.
Victoria HIll – The lady from Dublin so far has been a powerhouse, although she’s come up short in both title outings she’s had. She went through 5 others in a gauntlet match to get a shot at the Valor Championship, but then also got a shot at the Conquest Title in a match against Abbigail Dresden.
Jessica Carr – And tonight, she’s taking on another champion and other member of the Upstarts, in the FWW North American Champion, and the new FWA Television Champion, Tetsuo Oni.
Marcela Sancho – And her opponent, hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona by way of the Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. She comes in at 5’ 5” and 133 lbs. This is your 4 Winds North American Champion, and the Fantasy Wrestling Alliance Television Champion… TETSUO ONI!!
Lacuna Coil’s “Reckless” starts to play over the arena’s PA System. Tetsuo Oni steps out onto the stage, wearing her wrestling gear with the matching motley colored robe. Around her waist if the 4 Winds North American Title, and over her right shoulder is the FWA Television Championship.
She poses for a few moments at the top of the ramp. Once the camera flashes are done, she heads down to the ring. She walks around the ring to where Tera O’Connell is standing. Oni shakes her hand and then bows to her.
She then grabs the second rope and pulls herself up to the ring apron She ascends the corner from the outside and holds her arms up to the cheers from the crowd.
She soon doffs her titles, and the robe before she sets up and back somersaults from the top rope to the inside of the ring. She then turns to Fiona and comes up to her, extending her hand.
Victoria HIll – Oh, this respect stuff. Ech.
Jessica Carr – Well, our last two matches tonight are both prime examples of different types of matches. This one, both people respect each other and are going to give us a show. While the Valor title tonight might turn into something else entirely.
Marcela Sancho – Your referee for this match, Ashley Beaton!
As the referee gets to the two combatants, they’re already shaking hands. Beaton quickly runs down the rules and when they both signal their ready, she signals for the bell.
DING! DING!
Both start to walk around the ring, ready to lock up.
Jessica Carr – On paper, one of the closest matches we’ve ever seen in the CWF recently. O’Connell is an inch taller than Tetsuo Oni, but both are in the same weight range. One of them doesn’t really have a huge advantage in this fight other than Tetsuo Oni has a little bit more experience professionally, but both are 2nd generation wrestlers.
Victoria HIll – And O’Connell almost won the Conquet Title in her 2nd or 3rd professional match up. So she’s now starting to get the offers to join up with others. I wonder if the Upstarts are actually scouting her out.
Jessica Carr – Well in her pre-match promo, Tetsuo Oni said that the offer is on the table, Fiona O’Connell would just have to agree to it.
Both lock up, and O’Connell gets the upper hand quickly. She pulls Oni into a side headlock, wrenching down on it pretty good before she drags Oni from the middle of the ring to a side corner with a little bit of steam. O’Connell uses her legs to climb up the corner turnbuckles, and pushes off to turn the headlock into a bulldog.
Jessica Carr – O’Connell starting off with a bulldog here.
O’Connell goes to try to roll Oni over and tries for a pinfall.
… One
Victoria HIll – Too soon. She should have put the boots to her a bit as well.
Tetsuo Oni kicks out easily. O’Connell scrambles to her feet, as Oni kips up to hers. O’Connell comes in with a left jab followed by a right cross punch. The jab connects, but the cross gets caught and Oni takes O’Connell over with a judo type throw. She then drops down, draping her legs across O’Connell’s chest, trying for a crucifix armbar. O’Connell manages to pull herself a bit, and then grabs the bottom rope.
Jessica Carr – And Tetsuo Oni reverses the punch combo, turning it into an attempted submission here.
Oni holds onto the hold for a few extra moments, until Beaton starts to count, then Oni lets it go and comes up to her feet by taking her legs up and over from the hold and rolling backwards until she’s up onto her feet.
Victoria HIll – Oni pushed the limits there, breaking the hold right before she’d get a warning. Guess she’s lucky this isn’t a Valor title match.
Jessica Carr – All legal, here. And Fiona O’Connell is having to shake the results off a bit as well.
As O’Connell comes up to her feet, she shakes out her right arm a bit. She moves in to lock up with Tetsuo Oni again. This time it’s Oni who pulls her in off the lock up and takes her over in another throw. Oni doesn’t follow her in on the throw and instead hits the nearby ropes and turns it into a basement dropkick that catches O’Connell in her ribs. O’Connell flips over onto her back with the impact. Oni again kips up. This time she turns around and does a standing moonsault that lands across O’Connell’s chest.
Beaton is there to get the count on the pin.
… One… Oni tries to hook the leg.
…… Tw… she doesn’t manage to hook the leg, and O’Connell kicks out.
Victoria HIll – Oni couldn’t hook the leg in time, and O’Connell escapes that one.
Tetsuo Oni rolls off O’Connell, and puts a bit of distance between them before she scrambles to her knees. O’Connell starts to come up quickly as well. Oni grabs her to try to take her over with another throw, but O’Connell breaks the hold and then whips Oni to the ropes. She follows Oni in, and catches her right as she bounces off the ropes with a quick snapping belly to belly suplex. O’Connell comes up after hitting the move, and heads for the corner. She leaps up to the top and turns around.
Jessica Carr – Setting up for a big more. I’m not sure trying to fly high against someone like Tetsuo Oni is the best strategy.
Oni comes up to her feet, and shakes her head when she sees O’Connell on the top turnbuckle. She starts to walk in, and O’Connell sails off for a missile dropkick, but Oni suddenly stops, turns and takes a few steps… right out of the path of the drop kick.
Victoria HIll – HAH! Can’t hit what’s not there.
Jessica Carr – I’ve heard that Tetsuo Oni can wreslte a slightly eccentric style. She’s not doing much in the line of her own high flying tonight.
Victoria HIll – Does she have to? They’re both the same size as we pointed out. This is a rare instance where Tetsuo Oni doesn’t need to endanger herself with high flying to hit harder.
O’Connell lands on her hip in the middle of the ring. She quickly moves to favor it, showing it was a little bit of a hard, unexpected landing. Oni suddenly breaks into a run, going over O’Connell on the mat, and hitting the otherside. She hops up and springboards off the second rope to land on O’Connell’s body with a back senton. She reaches out after the impact, and grabs O’Connell’s head and one of her legs, and then bridges with her legs to try to push her back into another pin attempt.
… One
…. … Two
……… Thr… O’Connell kicks out and twists her kips and shoulders in opposite directions.
Jessica Carr – So close!
O’Connell reaches up and hooks Oni’s arm with her’s and tries to leg scissor the other, and roll her into a pinfall of her own with a crucifix pin.
Jessica Carr – And now a quick reversal!
… One
…… Two.
……… The… Tetsuo Oni breaks the pin by rolling backwards and popping up out of the hold.
Both come up quickly. O’Connell hits a quick jab followed by a cross, and then pulls Oni into a knee to her midsection. She hooks Oni with a double underhook butterfly, but before she can hit a DDT, Oni drops to her knees, messing up the move. As O’Connell tries to adjust, but falls to One knee to catch herself. Oni uses that to pop out of the hold, and head backwards to the ropes. She hooks onto the ropes, as Fiona comes back up to her feet and looks to be ready.
Oni comes off the ropes at a walk, and moves in. The pair lock up again, and this time O’Connell breaks the lock up with a European Uppercut that rocks Oni backwards. She then kicks Oni in the midsection and hooks her into a front facelock, hooks Oni’s tights… and then drops her down with a implant DDT.
Jessica Carr – Celtic Spike!
O’Connell tries to move into position trying to sit down on Oni’s shoulder and grab her arm. As soon as O’Connell seems to be going for her Celtic Arm Breaker version of the Dis-Arm-Her, Oni tries to twist her shoulder, and another arm to try to block it.
Victoria HIll – Oni scrambling to block the Celtic Arm Breaker.
Oni manages to get to her knees, She flips over forward with the move, and uses that momentum to pull her arm out of the hold fully.
Oni sets up, as O’Connell comes to her feet. She whips backwards, going for an Iron Fist, but O’Connell blocks it with two arms. She then grabs Oni in a bear hug, trapping both of her arms. She lifts up and then slams her down with another belly to belly suplex.
O’Connell quickly comes back up and then hits the ropes. She hops over Oni on the first run by, hits the ropes again and then comes off runs up and then hops up for a running splash that hits right across Oni’s chest.
She comes up right away after landing and starts to walk towards the ropes on the other side.
Jessica Carr – You have to wonder two things here.
Victoria HIll – What are those?
Jessica Carr – Just who in the Upstarts would be Fiona O’Connell’s partner next week. And Can she pull off a win against Tetsuo Oni tonight. I think the tide has fully turned here.
O’Connell doesn’t play up to the crowd, as she walks over and grabs the top rope. O’Connell looks over her shoulder, and sees Oni still on the mat. She gets ready, and springboards up, then comes off with a huge moonsault, but Oni suddenly rolls out of the way, towards the ropes. O’Connell lands face first onto the mat, with nobody there to take the impact.
Jessica Carr – Nobody home for the Celtic Moonsault!
Victoria HIll – That’s a huge mistake for her to make this late in the match.
Oni, finishes rolling and comes up into the corner. She looks to be setting up. She quickly rushes in and grabs one of O’Connell’s legs.
Jessica Carr- What’s she doing?
Victoria HIll – Letting her know she’s coming in to attack? That makes no sense.
Oni holds the leg for a moment, while O’Connell is still on her back. Oni starts by controlling O’Connell’s leg at the ankle, and pulls it down hard, putting her knee into O’Connell’s knee joint from the back. She then stands again, winds up, and then snaps a quick dragon screw leg whip on the prone Fiona O’Connell.
O’Connell reaches for her knee after that nasty dragon screw. Oni keeps the hold as they both go over, holding on. She comes up to a seated position with O’Connell’s knee bent around her head…Oni stands just a little bit, grabbing one of her arms, and then pulls O’Connell up to expose that side.
Jessica Carr – She’s going for the Oni Lock!
Tetsuo Oni manages to slip one of her legs up around O’Connell’s neck, locking the neck scissors part in place, and then drops back to the mat. O’Connell’s hands start to flail about as her just wrenched and slammed knee is hyperextended, with her opponent’s leg going across her chin, pushing it down so her head is at an odd angle, but not cutting off her breathing.
Victoria HIll – And it’s locked in!
O’Connell tries to fight it for a minute, but Oni has the move locked in hard. Oni yells out, picked up by the camera.
Tetsuo Oni – Come on Fi, don’t push it. Just tap and I’ll let it go!
Fiona brings up her other arm and tries to see if she can get at least the leg off of her chin. But it’s no use.
Jessica Carr – Come on Fiona, just tap and she’ll let you go. You know she’s good for her word.
Victoria HIll – Hmmph.
Beaton starts to ask O’Connell if she’s done. O’Connell tries to shake her head, but can’t move it with the pressure of the hold. She finally taps her free hand three times across Tetsuo Oni’s boot.
Ashley Beaton gets up and calls for the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
As soon as the bell rings, Tetsuo Oni releases the hold, fully.
Victoria HIll – Whatever happened to holding onto a submission like that for a bit?
Jessica Carr – Why would she do that to someone they want to maybe recruit to the Upstarts?
Victoria HIll – Is she worthy of being an upstart? She’s lost to both Dresden and Tetsuo Oni now.
Jessica Carr – Do you have any friends?
Victoria HIll – Not really…
Jessica Carr – I wonder why.
Oni quickly moves to check on O’Connell’s knee, as she lays there.
Marcela Sancho – Your winner, TETSUO ONI!!
O’Connell starts to get up in the ring, Oni reaches out and helps her to her feet. She then extends a hand to her and they both shake in the ring.
Victoria HIll – Gah, more respect stuff. Don’t we have one more commercial to get to?
Jessica Carr – That we do, actually.

Segment – Karlie Nash

Victoria HIll – Welcome back to the show, Ladies and Gentlemen. We were told we were coming back live in the backstage area.
Jessica Carr – Looks like Alyssa Lucci is catching up with Karlie Nash before tonight’s main event for the Valor Championship.
The camera does indeed show the backstage area, where Alyssa Lucci catches up with Karlie Nash who is going through last minute instructions with Tracy and Hilda. Karlie motions her over.
Alyssa Lucci – Tonight eNVy faces Miguel Lanza Jr for the Valor title, we saw several weeks ago eNVy interfere in the Valor title match between Danielle Williams and Miguel Lanza Jr with your partner Vespertine taking possession of the Valor title and last show you bailed during the tag match versus the Upstarts.
Karlie Nash – You’re not still upset about that stuff in Vegas are you.
Karlie smirks.
Karlie Nash – Yeah eNVy has possession of the Valor title, do you honestly think people wanted Danielle Williams or Miguel Lanza Jr as Valor champion, the title need someone who can sell tickets, eNVy can do that, people want a Valor champion that can steal the show every week, again eNVy can do that, we’ve proven that and tonight we’ll prove it again and about last show we bailed because it was building to a five on two situation, discretion is the better part of valor and tonight Alyssa, Ves and I are both chasing the Valor title and one of us is walking out of this garbage dump known as Topeka Kansas officially the Valor champion.
Alyssa Lucci – So what if that match should some point come down to you and Vespertine.
Karlie Nash – We’ve fought each other before, and if Vespertine wins tonight I’ll be happy for her as she will be happy for me if I win, and we are aware the the rest of the upstarts will probably be looking around, but I wonder how confident are they that the biggest member of The Upstarts can defeat Ves or myself, will they interfere at a moment’s notice when things aren’t going Miguel’s way, food for thought right. Anyway you try and have a good rest of your night, the pleasure was all yours.
Karlie, Hilda, and Tracy walk off.
The camera cuts back to the announcers.
Triple Threat Match – Valor Championship – Karlie Nash vs Vespertine vs Miguel Lanza Jr (C)

Jessica Carr – And now it’s time for our main event tonight. As we’ll have both members of the tag team known as eNVy taking on Miguel Lanza for the Valor Championship.
Victoria HIll – Not how it works tonight Jessica. eNVy have possession of the Valor title. They are defending against Miguel Lanza, Jr.
Jessica Carr – They haven’t won the title yet. Just because you steal it doesn’t make you a champion. Not how it works, Vicky.
Victoria HIll – If you say so. But They’re coming out with the Valor title tonight, and they have the advantage here. Two of them versus one of him. And it is going to be fought under Valor Division Rules.
Marcela Sancho – The following matchup is tonight’s main event. It will be fought under Triple Threat rules for the Conquest Wrestling Federation’s Valor Championship! Valor Division Rules are in effect!
The camera cuts to the back really quick, as Miguel Lanza comes out from the Upstart’s locker room. Kelea Thulnaught is standing there ready to join him. Tetsuo Oni comes walking up after being in the last match.
Tetsuo Oni – Kels, you’re not going out with him tonight.
Kelea Thulnaught – What? Why?
Miguel Lanza, Jr – Because these two had no problems hitting you last Vanguard. You and Oni will be waiting back here and watching. But it’s Valor division rules. They’d have no problems cheating and hitting you to get you riled up or use you against me.
Kelea frowned.
Kelea Thulnaught – Alright, but doesn’t mean I’m not going to go out there after the match and knock some heads around.
Tetsuo Oni – We both will, especially if they do anything.
Jessica Carr – Well the Upstarts are only sending Miguel Lanza out here for the match. Not even his valet, one half of the Pacific Rim tag team isn’t coming out.
Victoria HIll – She’s more than his valet, but Lanza comes out alone. That’s going to put him on the disadvantage to be facing both Nash and Vespertine together.
“Won’t Back Down” by Disturbed starts to play over the Arena’s PA system.
Marcela Sancho – Introducing first, hailing from Patillas, Puerto Rico. He comes in at 6’ 10” and 335 lbs. This is the current, reigning CWF Valor Champion.. “The Dreadnaught” Miguel Lanza, Jr!
The big man from Puerto Rico walks out. He raises up his left hand in a fist as he stands there one moment to take in whatever the crowd’s reaction may be tonight. Once he’s ready, he makes his way down to the ring, occasionally giving the fans what is a very high-five for them.
Once he gets to the ring, he reaches up and pulls himself to the apron via pulling the top rope. He then enters, stepping over the ropes and starts to get ready for this match up.
Marcela Sancho – And his opponents.
The opening bridge of “Knuckle Up” by Snowgoons start up and after minute or so, that fades to the starting rift of “The Mad Queen” by Rok Hardin indicating the two entrance themes of both women. The arena lights go down and a single spotlight comes up and then hear the opening notes of “We Will Rock You”- by In This Moment with Lzzy Hale and Taylor Momson.
On the Tron comes up images of Karlie and Vespertine wrestling and Karlie brawling with various opponents and Vespertine flying off various things to take out various opponents. Interspersed are images of Karlie playing hockey and checking opponents and Vespertine driving her cars and doing side shows and street racing.
From below the stage, the trapdoor with an entire pulpit comes up with Karlie standing behind arms outstretched as if basking in the light of God. On either side of her stand Hilda Myer and Tracy Dixon. The pulpit in front of her is uniquely dark and on it are two candles with Vespertine standing head bowed and in buddhist prayer.
She looks up and we see her eyes are deep dark black. She steps off the trapdoor and waits at the top of the entrance ramp. Karlie goes into darkness as she goes around the pulpit and reappears right next to Vespertine. Karlie has arms outstretched as if asking for her God for help.
Vespertine holds out one fist towards the audience as if to encompass their souls. She’s also currently sporting the CWF Valor title over her shoulder.
They start off and walk in time to the music. Karlie gets to the ring, goes up the steps and goes through the ropes. Vespertine goes up the opposite steps, goes to the middle of the ropes, and flips over them dropping into a Melina type splits. The lights are still low as both women get to the center of the ring.
We will, we will rock you.
WE will, we will rock you.
We will, we will rock you.
Then when it goes into the ending bridge of the song, they suddenly pose, Karlie stands at 5 feet 11 inches and Vespertine poses low in front of her at 5 feet 5 inches but both have arms out and up. The lights come back up and Vespertine bows her head to take off her hood whereup when she comes back up, her eyes have returned to normal. She goes to stand in the far corner with Karlie to discuss team tactics with Hilda and Tracy listening in.
Marcela Sancho – Hailing respectively from the Gates of Eternity, formerly San Francisco and the Minnesota Fundamentalist Church of Grand Marais Minnesota coming in at five feet 5 inches and 5 feet 11 inches at a total combined weight of 272 lbs, they are THE Premier Athlete Karlie Nash and the Well Rounded Fighting Machine, Vespertine. THEY are eNVyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!
Scott Jones calls all three to the middle of the ring. He starts to run down the rules of the valor division that this match will be fought under, when he gets confirmations from all three that they understand the rules he calls for the bell.
DING! DING!
Both Vespertine and Nash rush in on Lanza and catch him with a double drop kick that sends him back to the ropes. They both scramble up to their feet. Nash runs in at him and hits him in the mid-section with a huge knee. She then turns and grabs his head and pulls him out for a DDT.
Vespertine hits the ropes and comes off with a springboard moonsault style leg that lands on the back of his neck. Vespertine rolls out of the ring, and Nash quickly scoops under Lanza, rolls him over and tries for a pin fall.
… One
…… Two
………… Lanza pushes Nash off of him, sending her up into the air and she lands on her hands and knees a few feet back from him.
Victoria HIll – And a kick out with a lot of authority there.
He starts to roll over to his hands and knees to get up. Nash scrambles to start to throw hands at him, as he works his way up to his feet.
Vespertine, outside the ring, reaches under and pulls a ladder out. She starts to slide it into the ring, but Scott Jones comes over and warns her that this is a Valor title match, and ladders are not part of it. She tries to argue with him at first, but then he starts a 5 count.
Jessica Carr – What is Vespertine trying to do? This is a Valor division rules match. She can’t just bring in a ladder.
Victoria HIll – I don’t know why not, but Jones is laying down the rules here.
… 1
… 2

… 4
Vespertine pulls the ladder back, but then actually takes the time to set the ladder up outside the ring.
In the ring, Nash tries to hit Lanza with some Muay Thai combinations but the big man just stands there and takes them. She grabs him and tries to whip him to the ropes, but he just puts the brakes on and then whips her to the ropes instead. She comes off and tries for a clothesline, but she bounces off the larger man’s chest.
Vespertine climbs up the ladder she setup and dives at Lanza in a suicide plancha. Lanza catches her and rotates into a huge powerslam. He goes for a pin.
… One
…… Two
……… Th… Nash comes off the ropes with a dropkick that hits Lanza in the ribs.
Jessica Carr – And a close call stopped by Karlie Nash.
Victoria HIll – Very close, but too early for anyone, even Lanza to put someone down, even with a triple threat going on.
Vespertine slips out from under Lanza after the dropkick. She kips up to her feet, and both she and Nash go to opposite sides of the ropes. Both come off and try for dueling drop kicks. Lanza manages to avoid Nash’s, and she slides right by him. But Vespertine’s connects with his shoulder.
She scrambles to her feet, and starts her kick attack as he slowly works his way back up to his feet.
Jessica Carr – To someone except the 6’ 10” Dreadnought, those kicks would be leaving huge welts!
Lanza finally gets back to his feet and a good base. Vespertine scrambles backwards as he lunges forward, keeping out of his reach. Karlie Nash comes running up behind him to hook his arms into a quick full nelson which she turns into a bulldog like move. Nash rolls away after the impact, and she yells for Vespertine to get him.
Lanza starts to come up to his feet. As soon as he’s standing, Vespertine runs in to grab his head, slip hers under his chin and sit out for a jaw breaker. But Lanza catches her, wrapping his arms around her, lifting and spinning into a huge spinebuster.
He fakes going for a pin, in which Karlie Nash again comes in for a drop kick, but this time he pushes up to his knees, letting Nash fall on top of Vespertine in an almost senton like landing. Lanza comes up to his feet, falls backwards to the ropes, and comes off with a big splash on the stacked members of eNVy. He tries for a pin on them both.
… One
… … Two
……… Three… NO!
Lanza suddenly gets up, holding his face! Nash rolls off Vespertine.
Victoria HIll – Not that the ref saw it, but I think Vespertine reaches up and either raked Lanza’s face, or poked him in the eye to block that pin.
Jessica Carr – Not exactly Valor division approved, but it worked.
Nash grabs Vespertine and whips her to the ropes on the other side. She catches Vespertine into something like a military press, and tosses her at Lanza. She hits and takes Lanza over the top rope, falling to the floor below.
Jones is quick to get over there and check on everything before he starts the 10 count for people being outside the ring.
Victoria HIll – Nahs is now setup to win by count out! She just has to keep the other two out of the ring.
… 1
Vespertine comes to her feet outside and lines up.
… 2
Lanza starts to come up.
… 3
Vespertine moves climbs up on top of the ring steps on one side.
… 4
Vespertine comes off with an attempt at a hurricanrana.
… 5
Lanza blocks the move, and hooks Vespertine’s neck while her legs are around his neck in the move.
Jessica Carr – She tried!
… 6
Lanza falls backwards and sends Vespertine into the other ring steps behind him with a Phoenix Plex… the stairs explode apart with a huge clamour.
… 7
Victoria HIll – You know that one hurt. Just stay down Vesper… go to a chiropractor tomorrow!
… 8
Lanza gets to his feet. He hears the count and reaches up and grabs the ring rope to pull himself up.
… 9
Nash runs in and tries to push him off the ring apron as he comes back up, but Lanza stops it with a huge forearm that snaps Nash’s head back.
Jones stops the count, as Nash and he are now fighting, and Lanza is on the ring apron.
Jessica Carr – Almost a count out victory. If Nash had hit it she’d be the Valor Champion right now.
Lanza comes in and whips Nash to the ropes. When she comes off he nails her with his running spear attack.
Victoria HIll – Torpedoes away on Karlie Nash!
Lanza goes for a pin.
… One
…… Two
………. Thre…. Nash gets a shoulder up at the literal last moment before the third count hits the mat!
Jessica Carr – That one was even closer!
Lanza gets up and starts to pull Karlie Nash to her feet. He looks around for Vespertine.
Victoria HIll – He’s set up for the finish now. He just needs to hit a big move.
Jessica Carr – He could be setting up for the Depth Charge Slam!
Vespertine comes up to her feet outside the ring. In the ring, Lanza hits a couple of knee lifts to Nash and then whips her to the ropes. Vespertine runs around and trips Nash, keeping her from heading into the Depth Charge slam that Lanza had set up.
She then says something to Nash, as she pats her on the leg, and breaks into a run around to where she had setup the ladder before.
Victoria HIll – Vespertine just saved Karlie Nash from a world of hurt.
Jessica Carr – He was going to finish the match with that move… that’s for sure.
Lanza saw Vespertine trip Nash, and has his eyes on her as she heads to the ladder. Vespertine climbs up the huge ladder, and climbs all the way to the top. Lanza seems to be ready for her to come off as he steps closer. Vespertine gets ready and… feints on a dive!
Jessica Carr – What’s she… Nash!
Nash hops up and then nails Lanza with a chop block. After she hits, Vespertine actually comes off this time, instead of a feint. She hits Lanza with a diving double knee meteora to his chest, taking him down to the mat.
Victoria HIll – Holy shit! She hit it!
She tries to hook his legs after the hit. Jones slips in and tries to check his shoulders, but she can’t quite get there right away. Nash comes up behind him and tries to hook him as well, laying across his legs, and helping to keep him down.
Jones finally confirms his shoulders are down
… One
…… Two
……… Three!
Jones comes up and calls for the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
Jessica Carr – They did it! Wait… what? They did it!
Victoria HIll – Vespertine is the Valor Champion? Or is Karlie Nash?
Jessica Carr – I don’t know.
Jones takes a look at the pinning situation and shakes his head.
Victoria HIll – I don’t think the referee knows either.
Jones walks over to the ropes and says something to the time keeper, who then picks up a walkie talking and starts to talk. The time keeper nods to Jones, and he starts to look up at the screen over the stage.
Jessica Carr – I’m being told that the referee has asked for a review of the pin to see just who of eNVy was involved in the pinfall on Lanza.
Victoria HIll – This isn’t football. You don’t review the play!
Marcela Sancho – The referee, Scott Jones has asked the production team to replay the last few moments of the match on the Tron-Screen to review the pin to determine who won the Valor Championship.
The scene plays out on the screen. Showing Vespertine’s knees holding down Lanza’s shoulders, and Nash hooking and laying across his legs when Vespertine can’t get the tree trunk sized legs hooked. Jones shakes his head and then walks back over and speaks to Marcela Sancho. Then it shows Jones starting to count, without looking up at the pile of people in the ring.
Jessica Carr – To my own eyes there, it looked like it took both of them to pin him down.
Victoria HIll – It did to mine as well.
Marcela Sancho – The referee has reviewed the footage and has determined that BOTH Karlie Nash and Vespertine had legal pins on Miguel Lanza. As such, for the first time ever, we have a DUAL VALOR Champion being named. Your winners and NEW Valor Champions…. Karlie Nash and Vespertine!
Jessica Carr – WE have dual champions?
Victoria HIll – We have dual champions.
Jessica Carr – What does this mean? I mean is every Valor Title match while they have it now a Triple Threat?
Victoria HIll – I guess we’ll be finding out, but the referee’s decision is that both members of eNVy, Karlie Nash and Vespertine are both being recognized as our current Valor Champoins. And by Valor division rules, every match one of them could win it, or lose it. But we’ll have to wait and see just what happens here.
Jessica Carr – This is not what I was expecting. Miguel Lanza leaves as the now former Valor Champion, we have two valor champions, and they’re a tag team. And… we’re heading for Lunar Warfare soon!
Victoria HIll – And I think that’s it for tonight… We’ll need to see what is going to happen on Warzone, as the second match out of a possible three between Samael Drago and Kronin Reinhardt will be taking place in a steel cage with escape rules.
Jessica Carr – And many more matches to come. We’ll also see you on Episode 5 of Vanguard!
Victoria HIll – Until then, remember…
Both – #JoinTheConquest!

Before the show can fully go off the air, both Vespertine and Nash look to be about to attack Lanza as he’s leaving the ring. They quickly disperse when Kelea Thulnaught and Tetsuo Oni both come running out and slide into the ring next to him.
Vespertine grabs the Valor title, and then both of the now dual Valor Champions slide out of the ring and disappear into the crowd.
