Show Opening
The patented CWF Drone flyby opening starts as the drones fly through the crowd of the entire overhead view of the crowd in the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
The Screens show the opening for Vanguard, interspaced with scenes of the CWF talent in various places around the Tampa Bay area, in both Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, most of them along the beaches over near St. Petersburg and Clearwater.
As the drones fly over the crowd the theme for Wardrums starts to play through the arena and over your streaming access, either through the CWF website, cable provider, or streaming partners.
The drones continue, as fireworks start to go off through the arena’s setup and the video overlay shows that 17,387 fans, out of an arena capacity of 20,000 have joined the CWF live tonight.
The drones all come to the stage and hover as Macela Sancho comes out to a huge pop from the crowd.
Marcela Sancho – Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the 4th Episode of the 5th Season for the Conquest Wrestling Federation. For those at home, welcome to the Gas South Arena, here in Duluth, Georgia. We’re just a short trip up Interstate 85 North of Atlanta, and in the Greater Atlanta Metroplex area. And now, let’s turn you over to your announcing team tonight: Victoria Hill and Jessica Carr!
The drones move as a series of fireworks go off around the ring, and then zero in on the announcers’ table once the smoke has cleared.
Jessica Carr – Good evening and as Marcela said, welcome to the 4th episode of our 5th season of the CWF’s Vanguard. We’re here in Tampa, Florida today and we have four matches lined up for you!
Victoria Hill – Our main event, will be the new Valor Champion, Madd Morales, a former Elite Champion as well, as he faces off against the Eternal Grove’s Karlie Nash, who is a former Valor Champion, herself.
Jessica Carr – That match should be a great one. Nash and Vespertine, also known as eNVy just lost the Tag Team Championships, and the Eternal Grove is looking to lay claim to another title to replace it.
Victoria Hill – That happened on our last edition of Warzone, as Bad Company’s Kara Reinhardt and her niece, Ravynn secured the tag team titles. But Bad Company also lost the Elite Title as Father Nathan secured a win over Greg Salazar for the Elite Championship.
Jessica Carr – And speaking of championships, we are in the middle of a tournament for our new Skirmish Championship. This title will be for those who are under 200 lbs, and so far the field is full of women and Upstarts, in the case of a few of them, they’re both. Abby Dresden, Akame McClancy and the 4 Winds Tempest Champion, Fiona O’Connel are all going on to the next round. We’ll see O’Connell against Zolothach later tonight.
Victoria Hill – But we’ll also be opening tonight with a 2nd chance triple threat: “Wicked” Kat Hale, Alex Nelson, and Annika Deveroux will be trying to claim a 2nd chance shot into the finals of the tourney, which will either be a 4 way dance, or two semi finals and then one finale.
Jessica Carr – On Warzone, we’ll see Rayvnn Reinhardt and Abby Dresden face off in one 2nd round match. And, Akame McClancy and Trelisa Perrault try to move on as well. In the end, the Upstarts could have three finalists in this tourney.
Victoria Hill – And one upstart is the current 4 Winds Tempest Champion, a title with similar specifications. And one other was the Inagural Tempest Champion.
Jessica Carr – And Kat Hale, in that triple threat 2nd chance match tonight is a former Tempest Champion as well. So this tourney is really highlighting how some of these smaller competitors.
Victoria Hill – As it should. We also have a match that will be just as important, just not involved in the tourney or the Valor Championship tonight.
Jessica Carr – Lord knows, Dylan Erickson would not qualify for the Skirmish Championship. But a lot are looking at his debuting opponent tonight has a lot of hype and talk about her: “The Final Girl” Sadie Graves.
Victoria Hill – Ms. Graves is arriving too late to be involved in the Skirmish championship tourney, but I think she’d be looking at trying to get into the Elite Title picture. She’s all about the hardcore stuff.
Jessica Carr – Normally a debut, they’d be given someone like Mysterion but Sadie Graves is going for a man who is, what, three times her size in her time to give us our first impression. Dylan Erickson has been impressive in his first few matches. He’s big, he’s powerful. Is Sadie Graves good enough?
Victoria Hill – Well we’ll find out tonight on Vanguard but first… Three people in a 2nd chance match for the Skirmish…
Segment – Madd Morales

“EvilJordan” by Playboy Carti begins playing as Madd Morales walks out from the back. He makes his way down to the ring and steps through the ropes.
The Valor Championship rested over his right shoulder, his hands folded calmly over the faceplate as thousands of fans showered him with a mixture of cheers and boos. He stood there for a long moment, allowing every reaction to wash over him before slowly lifting the microphone.
The noise only grew louder.
Morales smiled.
Madd Morales – Go ahead. Get it out of your system. Cheer. Boo. Scream until your lungs give out. I’ve learned something over the last few years. It doesn’t matter whether people love me or hate me. They always end up talking about me, and that’s exactly where I belong.
He adjusted the championship on his shoulder.
Madd Morales – Take a good look at this belt. A few weeks ago there were people saying my best days were behind me. They said Tribal Warfare broke me. They said Gabriel and Trelissa took everything I had worked for and left me with nothing but excuses. They were already writing the obituary for Madd Morales, talking about me like I was some fallen king who would spend the rest of his career chasing ghosts.
He laughed to himself and slowly shook his head.
Madd Morales – Then Vanguard happened. I walked into that ring carrying every scar they gave me, every betrayal they thought would keep me down, and I walked out exactly the way I promised I would… with championship gold resting on my shoulder. Funny how quickly the conversation changes when there’s proof staring everybody in the face.
He patted the Valor Championship.
Madd Morales – This isn’t a consolation prize. This isn’t me settling because I couldn’t have something better. This championship is a statement. It’s proof that no matter how many times people try to kill me, I keep digging myself back out. You don’t become one of the best in this business because life goes according to plan. You become one of the best because every time the plan falls apart, you build a better one.
He began pacing slowly across the ring.
Madd Morales – Now tonight everybody wants to talk about Karlie Nash. That’s the match. That’s the challenger. That’s the woman standing across the ring from me hoping she gets to write the biggest chapter of her career by taking this championship away.
He shrugged.
Madd Morales – I almost feel bad for her.
The crowd reacted immediately, boos raining down.?
Madd Morales – Not because she isn’t talented. Karlie Nash has talent. She has experience. She’s earned opportunities that a lot of people in this business never will. I respect the work she’s put in because unlike a lot of people running around this company pretending to be stars, Karlie actually climbed the mountain instead of waiting for someone else to carry her.
He stopped pacing.
Madd Morales – But that’s where the compliments end.
His expression became colder.
Madd Morales – Because somewhere along the way people started confusing respectable with exceptional. They started talking about Karlie Nash like she’s this unstoppable force that every champion should fear. They started convincing themselves that tonight is supposed to be some monumental challenge for me.
He smiled again.
Madd Morales – It’s not.
The boos grew louder.
Madd Morales – See, that’s the difference between confidence and reality. Karlie believes she can beat me because every challenger has to believe that. The fans believe she can beat me because they desperately want somebody to shut me up. The commentators believe she can beat me because it’s their job to sell uncertainty.
He pointed at himself.
I don’t have that luxury. I deal in facts.
He raised the championship slightly.
Madd Morales – The facts say I’m standing here as the Valor Champion. The facts say I survived betrayals that would’ve ended lesser careers. The facts say every time people have counted me out, I’ve answered by putting another accomplishment on my résumé. And the biggest fact of them all is that Karlie Nash has to wrestle the best version of Madd Morales that has ever existed.
He walked toward the hard camera until it filled with nothing but his face.
Madd Morales – That should terrify her.
Morales looked down at the championship before continuing.
Madd Morales – I don’t want whispers after this match. I don’t want excuses. I don’t want anyone saying Karlie Nash would’ve won if she wasn’t attacked beforehand. I want one thing and one thing only. I want every person watching this company to look at the result and realize there wasn’t a damn thing they could say except that Madd Morales was better.
He spread his arms.
Madd Morales – That’s how legacies are built.
The crowd buzzed as Morales continued.
Madd Morales – This championship isn’t my destination. It’s the first checkpoint. Everybody knows exactly what happens if I keep defending this title. Five successful defenses. Five statements. Five reminders that I’m operating on a completely different level.
He held up five fingers before slowly lowering one.
Madd Morales – Tonight is number one.
He lowered another.
Madd Morales – Then comes number two.
Another.
Madd Morales – Then three.
Another.
Madd Morales – Then four.
Finally, he made a fist.
Madd Morales – And when number five comes, I cash this championship in for the Conquest Championship because that’s where I belong. That’s always where I belonged.
His voice rose with every sentence.
Madd Morales – So Karlie Nash isn’t the ending of my story. She isn’t the mountain I have to climb. She isn’t some final boss standing between me and destiny. She’s the first checkpoint on a road I’ve already decided to walk.
He pointed directly into the camera.
Madd Morales – Karlie, I hope you’re listening because I’m about to give you the most honest advice anyone in this business ever will. Walk into this match with confidence. Walk into it believing you’ve studied enough tape. Walk into it believing your experience is going to carry you through.
He paused.
Madd Morales – Because confidence makes disappointment hurt so much more.
The arena erupted.
Madd Morales – When this match is over, they won’t be talking about your offense. They won’t be talking about your heart. They won’t even be talking about how close you came. They’ll be talking about another successful title defense. Another step toward the Conquest Championship. Another reminder that Madd Morales isn’t rebuilding anymore.
He lifted the championship high above his head.
Madd Morales – I’m ascending.
He slowly lowered the belt onto his shoulder one final time.
Madd Morales – Tonight I leave this arena exactly the same way I walked into it.
He tapped the faceplate.
Madd Morales – Valor Champion.
His grin widened.
Madd Morales – One defense closer to the Conquest Championship.
He looked directly into the hard camera, his confidence turning almost arrogant.
Madd Morales – And Karlie Nash… congratulations.
He let the crowd quiet just enough.
Madd Morales – Years from now, when people tell the story of Madd Morales’ rise to the top, your name is going to come up. You’ll always have a place in my story. You’ll be remembered as the woman who stood across the ring from me during my first successful defense. You will tell your grandkids you faced a legend like me back at the start of it all. I will tell mine it was just a normal Tuesday.
He chuckled.
Madd Morales – You should be proud of that.
Morales handed the microphone to the ringside attendant without another word before leaving to the sound of his music.
Jessica Carr – Madd Morales with some strong words tonight.
Victoria Hill – Well, he got a chance and won, taking the Valor Title. He’s just got to defend it enough times to secure himself that prize that only so many people have claimed before.
Jessica Carr – Morales is ready for our main event tonight. But he shouldn’t really disregard Karlie Nash just like that.
Victoria Hill – I won’t disagree with you. And it is the Valor title, which has different rules than other titles. But it’s nice to see that the champion is sure of his win.
Jessica Carr – Well, that little interruption has pushed us to our first commercial break of the evening. So we’ll be right back after these words with our 2nd Chance Triple threat for the Skirmish Championship Tournament!
Victoria Hill – Alex Nelson, Annika Devereaux and “Wicked” Kat Hale when we return!

The show comes back from the commercial break with the cameras on our announcing team.
Jessica Carr – Welcome back, we’re ready for our first match up of the evening. This one could change how the Skirmish championship is decided. The winner of this match moves on to the semi finals or the finals. Do we know how we’re doing this ending?
Victoria Hill – Could be two semi-finals and a final match up. Could be a four way dance, a ladder match, we don’t know yet. The only thing I have heard, is that the finale will be on the Vanguard Pre-Show for Civil Warfare.
Jessica Carr – Makes sense, I’ve heard that this title will be one that is only defended on Vanguard, and of course other than the weight limit, the matches have a 10 minute time limit as well. So it’s designed for quick, skirmish style matches for light heavyweight or cruiserweight contenders.
Victoria Hill – Well, lets go to the ring for our first match of the night.
Triple Threat Singles Match – Alex Nelson -vs- Annika Devereaux -vs- “Wicked” Kat Hale

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is the Wild Card match for the CWF Skirmish Championship tournament! Featuring first to come down to the ring, hailing from Dallas, Texas…he is Alex Nelson!
The opening guitar licks of “The End” play, and the lights in the arena strobe on and off as Alex Nelson walks down from the entryway to the ring, shadow boxing along the way. Rolling in from the bottom rope, he poses with his hands in the air in the middle of the ring and then goes to his corner, waiting…
Jessica Carr – Alex looks to be the underdog in this match, but in a match as chaotic as this one. The underdog might be the one to win.
Victoria Hill – I highly doubt that. The idea that he could just watch the other two beat each other down is laughable.
Jessica Carr – This is still a great opportunity for him to throw off the Prince of the Jobbers title that he has self-inflicted upon himself.
Victoria Hill – I think that title is crowd-sourced and not self-inflicted.
Marcela Sancho – Next to come down to the ring, hailing from Denver, Colorado…she is Annika Devereaux!
Gavin Rossdale by Adrenaline begins playing as Annika Devereaux walks out from the back to the cheering of the fans. She steps out onto the entrance stage and poses for the fans a moment before heading down to the ring. She looks across the ring at Alex Nelson before leaning in her own corner of the ring.
Jessica Carr – Annika sizing up the competition before the match starts.
Victoria Hill – Looking at the man she’s going to pin to get into the final match for the Skirmish title.
Jessica Carr – I don’t know if she’s doing that, but maybe.
Victoria Hill – For sure, I would. Alex has already accepted that defeat is coming, and Kat is going to come down wild to the ring wanting punishment for being a loser. Ohhh, maybe she’s the weak link in this.
Marcela Sancho – And the final person to come down to the ring, hailing from Grand Junction, Colorado…she is “Wicked” Kat Hale!
The lights begin flashing green, blue, and red as the initial jingle of “Nemo” by Nightwish starts. Kat delays hitting the stage for those initial seven seconds.
She comes out wearing a black leather jacket that stops at her mid-drift, and she comes out with high energy. Throwing up the rock and roll devil horns a few times before moving to either side of the stage to engage with the crowd. She points towards them and then starts to make her way down to the ring. She’ll continue interacting with fans near the ramp. High-fiving and occasionally pausing to throw up devil horns with other members of the audience.
She makes her way to the south side of the ring, jumps onto the apron, and throws her hands out to either side to pose for the audience. Then, slipping under the middle rope, moves to the opposite end of the ring. Climbing onto the middle rope of the turnbuckle, she’ll rock up and down with her head down, covering the top rope until rising and flipping her hair back over her shoulders and posing with her arms spread once again. Pointing to members of the audience.
She turns around and sits on the top turnbuckle, stripping her jacket off to drop to the ring apron.
Jessica Carr – Kat Hale looks a bit crazed in the ring right now.
Victoria Hill – She seems put together enough for now.
Jessica Carr – She has that wild look in her eye from when she was on FaceTwatter Live.
Victoria Hill – Oh, that.
The bell sounds to start the match, and Kat Hale hops down from the turnbuckle to join the others in the center of the ring. They look at one another to see who is going to make the first move.
Alex Nelson makes the first move, decking Kat Hale and whipping her into the ropes. Annika grabs Alex from behind and hits a release German suplex! She then catches Kat Hale with a back elbow as she is on the rebound!
Alex and Kat are quickly back up and go right at it, brawling back and forth. Alex decks her again, and Kat just screams at him.
Kat Hale – Hit harder! Like a man would!
Annika grabs Kat in a full nelson and yells to Alex.
Annika Devereaux – You heard the lady! Hit her!
Alex just stares a moment before shrugging and hitting her in the mouth as hard as he can, sending blood and spittle flying across the ring mat. Annika then hits a full nelson driver! She starts to get up, but Alex grabs her in a side headlock and hits a bulldog! He jumps back to his feet as Kat is getting up and hits her with a bodyslam before going for the quick cover!
….One
……two
……..thr-Kat kicks out!
Alex gets up and is grabbed from behind before being whipped into the ropes by Annika. On the rebound, she clotheslines him to the mat and kicks Kat in the ribcage as she is working on getting up to send her back to the mat!
Jessica Carr – Some fast action here, but Annika is on top right at the moment.
Victoria Hill – I wonder if Annika will get some flashbacks to the black rain during the match?
Alex gets back up from the mat and grabs Annika, hitting a snap suplex! He gets right back up, but is laid low with a spinning elbow from Kat Hale! She rushes by Annika, who is starting to get up, and leaps at the ropes. She springboards off of the second rope to hit a springboard moonsult on Annika that she calls the Wickedsault! She hooks a leg for the cover!
….one
……two
……..thr-Alex breaks up the pinfall!
Jessica Carr – Alex with the save!
Victoria Hill – Alex doesn’t want the match to end not in his favor. Duh.
Alex pulls Kat up and goes for the superkick! However, Kat backs up out of the way and Annika lunges up from where she was starting to get up and sorta spears the one leg that Alex was standing on to bring him down to the mat!
Kat Hale grabs the rising Annika and hits the Wicked Rhythm (cross roads) and then grabs Alex for the Bound by Blood which is a modified cross face, where she pins the arm of the opponent backward between her legs while wrenching the neck. It doesn’t take Alex long to tap out!
Marcela Sancho – Moving on to the finals of the Skirmish championship tournament…”Wicked” Kat Hale!
Kat Hale celebrates in the ring while her opponents make their way to the back.
Jessica Carr – All that fit throwing and Kat makes it to the title match at Civil Warfare! Dang.
Victoria Hill – I doubt that her opponents just “let her win”, but yeah that’s how it winds up.
Jessica Carr – After this commercial break, we go to Sadie Graves as she makes her debut match against Dylan Erickson!
Victoria Hill – Should be a crushing defeat for Sadie. I don’t know what she will learn from it other than to not fuck with big boys.
Jessica Carr – You never know. He’s been defeated by smaller opponents before.
Victoria Hill – Duh. I mean, most all of his opponents have been smaller than him.
Jessica Carr – I guess that’s right.
Victoria Hill – Right?

Jessica Carr – Welcome back again to the CWF’s Vanguard. Up next we have a debut match for our newest combatant, “The Final Girl” Sadie Graves.
Victoria Hill – A debut match, against someone the size and power of the Massacre Maker, Dylan Erikson.
Jessica Carr – Sadie Graves has her work cut out for her, but she’s coming with a hell of a resume. She may be tiny compared to her opponent tonight, but they do say it’s not the size of the dog, but the size of the FIGHT in the dog. Dylan Erickson is the Massacre Maker, but she is the Final Girl.
Victoria Hill – Well, only one thing left to see. How well does she do against an opponent of this size in her debut match up!
Jessica Carr – Take it away, Marcela!
Singles Match – “The Final Girl” Sadie Graves -vs- “The Massacre Maker” Dylan Erickson

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from Sudbury, ON, Canada, weighing in at 443 lbs, and standing at 7’4” tall, he is the Massacre Maker, Dylan Ericksssssssonnnnnnnn!!!!
The words appear on the ConquestTron, with a video of Erickson beating smaller opponents to a pulp over the years. There’s no special effects, pyro, or anything. The man walks out, towering over everything he sees – trying his best to remain stoic, but doing a pretty damn poor job of it. He walks to the ring, knowing none of these people care a lick about him.
Jessica Carr – Dylan Erickson. What a monster. I bet he is looking to prove himself after last week’s loss to Mozzy Rella.
Victoria Hill –Undoubtedly. But we’ll see if he can pull through this time.
Marcela Sancho – And introducing his opponent, making her CWF debut, from The Last House on the Left, weighing in at 135 lbs, “The Final Girl” Sadie Gravessssssss!!!!
The arena lights dim as “Nightmare” by Halsey begins to play throughout the arena. Sadie Graves emerges onto the stage wearing a black leather jacket over her ring gear (white tank top and black athletic shorts), a kendo stick resting across her shoulders.
She pauses at the top of the ramp and surveys the crowd before beginning her walk to the ring. Along the way she occasionally slaps hands with fans, though her focus remains fixed on the ring ahead. Upon reaching ringside, Sadie taps the kendo stick against the ring apron before sliding it beneath the bottom rope. She removes her jacket and drapes it over the turnbuckle before entering the ring.
Climbing onto the second turnbuckle, Sadie raises the kendo stick into the air as the crowd cheers. After a brief moment she hops down to the canvas and places the weapon in her corner before settling in, ready for the fight ahead.
Ding Ding Ding!
Immediately as the bell rings, Dylan Erickson walks forward to Sadie Graves, who stands more than 2 feet shorter than him. He smirks as he looks at the crowd. Then he shakes his head.
Victoria Hill –Wow, I guess he thinks this is not much of a match!
Jessica Carr – Well, he may be wrong about that!
Sadie Graves simply looks up at the monster in front of her. As Dylan looks away from the crowd and turns his head down, Sadie Graves hits a big slap, staggering Dylan.
As he looks back in disbelief, Sadie hits Dylan with a kick to the groin, and immediately runs towards the ropes to hit a jumping DDT on Dylan, taking the monster down.
Jessica Carr – Wow!
Sadie Graves stands over the downed Dylan, and poses for the crowd. Meanwhile Dylan gets back up, dazed, as he does. Sadie Graves tries to hit a measured Enzuigiri, but Dylan gets out of the way. The Final Girl lands face first on the mat. Dylan immediately capitalises, deadlifting the downed Sadie, and hitting a bodyslam.
He goes for the pin.
…One
…..Two
….Thr-kick out!!
Jessica Carr – What a show of power from the big man. But it seems it’s going to take more to keep Sadie Graves down.
Victoria Hill –She may be smaller, but there’s fight in her.
Dylan quietly waits for Sadie to get back, and as he finds an opening, he grabs her throat and lifts her up. He strangles her mid-air for sometime, and brings her down in a sitout slam. He goes for the cover again.
…One
..….Two
….Kick out!!!!
Dylan shakes his head. And immediately covers her again, as if the second time would change something.
…One
…kick out!!!
Jessica Carr – I don’t think that is going to change anything!!
Victoria Hill –Seems not!!
Dylan starts arguing with the ref about the pacing of the counts.
In the midst of this, Sadie Graves gets up using the ropes, and she springboards herself and performs a tornado DDT on Dylan Erickson.
She picks the momentum up, as the crowd cheers her on.
As Dylan gets back up, Sadie Graves starts hitting him with a series of punches. The dazed Dylan tries to hit a clothesline, but Graves ducks and hits him with a backstabber!
Jessica Carr – That has got to hurt…
She goes for the pin.
… One
……Two
………Th–Kick out!!!!
Sadie Graves, meanwhile, grins from ear to ear, excited to find her debut against a worthy opponent.
As Dylan Erickson gets back up, Sadie goes for a dropkick, but Dylan sidesteps and performs a northern lights suplex on her. He waits for her to get back, and as she does, he runs towards the opposite ropes and hits her with a big boot. Sadie is turned inside out, as she falls flat onto the mat.
Jessica Carr – A big boot from that monster of a man surely must feel like a tank hitting you!
Dylan catches his breath, and takes a minute to approach the downed Sadie, and as he reaches her, the apparently out-of-it Sadie comes alive, and takes the big man down with a leg scissors.
As Dylan falls jaw to the mat, Sadie starts locking in a crossface on him. Dylan Anderson with nowhere to go, starts struggling to break free of the hold.
Victoria Hill –Could this be it????
The referee approaches the trapped Dylan to ask if he will tap.
“NOOOOOOO!!!!”, he yells out.
“NOO!!!!”
One more yell.
Dylan musters up all his strength to stand up, as Sadie still has the crossface locked in.
Dylan somehow manages to slip through the lock, and transitions Sadie into a fireman’s carry, and drops her down face first.
Immediately, he pounces on her, and starts smashing her head onto the mat repeatedly, until the ref breaks it off.
Dylan wastes no time and picks Sadie up and positions her into a Razor’s Edge. He then runs and throws her into the opposite turnbuckle.
Dylan looks angrily at the crowd, who have now started cheering loudly for Sadie Graves.
He motions for Sadie to get up in the corner.
Victoria Hill –Dylan does not seem too happy with the crowd’s reaction!
As she gets up, Dylan goes in for a big spear!!
But Sadie sidesteps and performs a drop toehold on the running giant.
This trips him, as he hits nose first into the turnbuckle, and twists his leg wrongly in the process.
A loud yell can be heard, as the ref checks on him.
Jessica Carr – Wait. Seems like Dylan may be hurt
Sadie walks away, and prepares for her finisher.
Dylan limps as gets back to his feet. Sadie runs and hits a big forearm smash, which staggers him.
Sadie gets him in position for the Grave Digger (Package Piledriver), but Dylan Erickson proves too tall for her to lock it in properly.
Jessica Carr – Looks like Sadie misjudged!!!
Victoria Hill –That big man is not going to get into a package piledriver!
Dylan breaks free and pushes Sadie to the ropes, and as he bounces back, Dylan hits Sadie with a BIG SUPERKICK!!!!
The force of the kick from a 400+ lbs man knocks Sadie completely out.
But the weight on the wrongly-twisted ankle collapses Dylan, as he takes a moment to recover.
Jessica Carr – HOLYYYYY!!!!!! That could have been it!
He limp-walks to the downed Sadie, and picks her up by the throat to perform his version of the delayed chokeslam. He lifts her up, and chokes her for a good few seconds before bringing her down with a big slam.
Dylan’s leg, however gives way, and he collapses as well.
Jessica Carr – Oh hell! Dylan’s leg has given up, it seems.
Victoria Hill –This may just cost him the match.
The ref checks on him, as he pushes him out of the way.
He limps to the downed Sadie to cover.
He hooks her leg.
… One
..…..Two
………..Thre……KICK OUT!!!!
But as tries to cover again, Sadie hooks both of her legs on his head, and executes a beautiful hurricanrana into a pin of her own.
…One
……Two
……Three!!!!
Marcela Sancho – Here is your winner! “The Final Girl” Sadie Gravessssss!!!!!!
As soon as the bell rings, Sadie rolls out of the ring, and makes her way up the ramp with a smile on her face, as Dylan is knelt down inside the ring looking in utter disbelief at Sadie Graves.
Jessica Carr – Oh man, Dylan looks absolutely pissed at this. Sadie almost stole the win. But what a performance from her.
Victoria Hill –Dylan may have lost, but he proved that he deserves to be here. What a tough, tough man. I am sure there’s more in store for him.
Jessica Carr – It’s the CWF. There are surprises all around the corner. Sadie Graves, Dylan Erickson, welcome to Conquest Wrestling!!!!
Victoria Hill – I’m told we’re going to go ahead and get to our next match up here then do the commercial break so we can have our main event without interruptions.
Jessica Carr – So the next match up is a second round match in our Skirmish Championship Tournament. Zolothach and the 4 Winds Tempest Champion, Fiona O’Connell are about to become one of the final four. We just had Kat Hale secure her 2nd chance into that grouping as well.
Victoria Hill – The tourney finals are taking shape, who will go on.
Singles Match – Skirmish Title Tournament Round 2 – Zolothach -vs- Fiona O’Connell

Marcela Sancho – Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match is a Skirmish title tournament match and it is set for one fall with a 10 minute time limit! Introducing first. Hailing from Paris, Illinois. She stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs in at 165lbs. She is Zolothach!!!
‘Cuthulu’ by Gunship plays and Zolothach comes out from the back and makes her way to the ring. As she does, she mostly ignores the boos from the crowd and heads into the ring, sitting down in one of the corners and glaring daggers back at the entryway.
Jessica Carr – Zolothach in the ring now and boy, if looks could kill…
Victoria Hill – Well, we know Zolothach despises her ‘other’ name being used and Fiona, in true Irish fashion, went and hit her opponent’s soft spot with a great big sledgehammer. Interesting tidbit, Zolothach is the only member of the roster hailing from the Land of Lincoln.
Marcela Sancho – And introducing her opponent, hailing from Dublin, Ireland. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs in at 135lbs. She is a member of the Upstarts and is the 4 Winds Tempest Champion, Fiona O’Connell!!!
As ‘Blood’ by Dropkick Murphys plays over the PA, the crowd comes to their feet cheering, some of them singing along with the song as Fiona comes out from the back very much like a boxer, jogging in place, hopping from one foot to the other. She is clearly singing along with her entrance song but no mics pic up her voice and she lets loose a lightning fast flurry of punches before holding up her right hand into the air. Her Mother, Tera, stands behind her and Fiona makes her way to the ring slowly, stopping to shake hands with fans and as the fans cheer, she seems to feed off their energy and then, finally makes her way to the ring where she climbs in and throws another combination of punches and then moves to a corner and waits for her opponent
Jessica Carr – Fiona now in the ring as well and she is giving up a bit of size to her opponent in this match up as she is about 2 inches shorter and about 40lbs lighter than Zolothach.
Victoria Hill – The girl better hope for a growth spurt and put on some weight if she hopes to survive
Erica Costa-Alvarez begins the instructions but has to intervene as Zolothach tries to attack Fiona right off the bat. Finally, after calming Zolothach down, she completes giving them their instructions and calls for the bell
DING!! DING!!
Zolothach takes up a boxing stance and Fiona smirks as she shakes her head before taking up a boxing stance and urging Zolothach to attack.
Fiona O’Conell – Come on, Tabitha.
Zolothach lets out a scream of rage and charges throwing a flurry of wild punches which Fiona is ready for, dodging some of them, deflecting others before finally ducking under a punch and planting a left punch into Tabitha’s kidney, a split second later her right hand hits the rib cage, a left to the ribs a right that connects in the diaphragm and finally another left to the ribs before an uppercut to the chin puts Zolothach flat on her back.
Jessica Carr – In her promo, Fiona did warn Zolothach how easily she could be baited into making mistakes and we saw an example of it right there.
Victoria Hill – Yeah, Zolothach is gonna get killed if she keeps charging in like that.
Zolothach gets to her feet as Fiona waits patiently and Zolothach tilts her head as if the lesson is starting to sink in. This time Zolothach comes in and utilizes her training, Fiona deals with most of the punches but Zolothach is able to get a left-right combination to Fiona, the 40lb weight difference meaning just one of the punches is enough to bring Fiona to a knee. Zolothach wastes no time trying to shift things to a field she feels more comfortable in and locks Fiona in a headlock. She tries for a vertical suplex but Fiona blocks it, countering with a few more kidney punches, forcing Zolothach to break the hold, Fiona immediately tries for a double leg takedown but Zolothach sees it coming and takes Fiona to the mat, pulling Fiona’s head up by the hair with one hand and delivering forearm shots with the other to Fiona’s face.
Zolothach – I said don’t
A clubbing blow hits Fiona in the face
Zolothch – Call me
Another blow to the face
Zolothach – That name!!
She then slams Fiona face first into the mat.
Zolothach – Call me by my proper name!
Jessica Carr – Well, Zolothach did take the lesson to heart but now that she has the edge, she is making Fiona pay for the provocations.
Victoria Hill – If Fiona plans to win this, she’ll need to be just as ruthless and I don’t think Fiona can reach that level.
Fiona refuses to budge, fighting and eventually getting her feet under her and pushing up with Zolothach still on her back, In desperation, Zolothach tries to lock in a sleeper hold but Fiona drops to a knee and brings Zolothach to the mat with a snapmare style takedown, transitioning into a sleeper hold of her own.
Jessica Carr – Sleeper hold!!! Fiona’s father is famous for his skill with it, we’re about to see if Fiona can do the same!!
Victoria Hill – Credit where credit is due, Fiona got out of that predicament nicely. And she didn’t need to run and hide behind the ref.
Zolothach tries desperately to break the sleeper hold, finally standing up to her full height before dropping to a sitting position forcing Fiona to break the hold or risk severe injury to Zolothach. As it is, Zolothach turns the move into a jawbreaker, which drops Fiona to the mat.
Jessica Carr – That was an innovative way to escape the sleeper hold
Victoria Hill – and proof I was right and Fiona can’t be as ruthless as some of the others in this fed. She’ll need that killer instinct to survive in this fed.
Zolothach pulls Fiona to her feet and uses an irish whip to send Fiona to the corner, charging in and pelting Fiona with a flurry of punches as if Fiona was just another heavy bag she was beating up on.
Jessica Carr – Well, Fiona did question whether Zolothach had the patience to work the body, Zolothach is certainly trying to show she can
Victoria Hill – and not only is Zolothach 40lbs heavier than Fiona, but she’s been trained and beaten into someone who has no empathy and even less remorse so she will hurt Fiona if she needs to to achieve her goals.
In the ring, Zolothach sets Fiona up on the top turnbuckle and climbs up after, jumping off the top and hitting Fiona with a corkscrew cutter, she then crawls over and covers Fiona. Erica Costa-Alvarez sliding in to make the count
…One!
……Two!!
Jessica Carr – Just after the two count, Fiona kicks out!
Victoria Hill – The Irish for you.. Never know when to quit..
Zolothach rolls out of the ring and shakes her head, taking a moment to regroup and plan her next move. Erica Costa-Alvarez begins the count but Fiona rebounds off the ropes and dives over the top rope and hits Zolothach with her variation of the Tope con hilo, hitting Zolothach and taking her out as the crowd comes to their feet cheering the high risk move. Erica Costa-Alvarez sighs and restarts the count..
…1!
…2!
Jessica Carr – Celtic Dive by Fiona O’Connell!! Zolothach didn’t seem to expect that!!
Victoria Hill – They will need to get into the ring soon though.
…3!
…4!
Fiona pulls Zolothach to her feet and tries to whip her into the steps but Zolothach reverses and sends Fiona towards the stairs but Fiona steps onto the steps and launches into a moonsault which again takes Zolothach out, again results in both women on the crowd and again brings the crowd to their feet
…5!
…6!
Jessica Carr – Amazing exchange there! Fiona meant to use the steel stairs as a weapon, Zolothach tried to counter but Fiona used the steps to launch into a moonsault.. Let’s not forget, Fiona is training daily with Akame and Abigail in the Upstarts, both of whom are not afraid to go airborne and we’re seeing Fiona develop an airborne offense herself.
Victoria Hill – Indeed, I thought it was propaganda, but the Upstarts do seem to share knowledge and tactics and such freely between them, as much as it pains me to admit it, the Upstarts seem to be one of the rare stables that will make you better if you join them..
…7!
…8!
Fiona and Zolothach get to their feet, both using each other as they grab each other and seem to be about to continue wrestling until they hear the count and both slide into the ring,
Inside the ring, both Zolothach and Fiona tie up and begin wrestling, Zolothach moves Fiona into a side headlock, Fiona responds with an elbow in the gut and shrugs her off into the ropes, Fiona’s plans are derailed as Zolothach slams into her with a shoulder tackle that knocks the smaller girl down. Zolothach then pulls Fiona to her feet and hits a vertical suplex but keeps the hold and rolls over, pulling Fiona up. She tries for another vertical suplex, but Fiona counters with a boot to the gut and then locks Zolothach and jumps into the air to the point where she is completely vertical with Zolothach before coming down and planting her with a spike DDT
Jessica Carr – Celtic Spike DDT!! A move that can end a match by itself, but more often spells the beginning of the end for her opponent and the crowd is on their feet here!!
Victoria Hill – Well, it seems like the Upstarts are going to be 1 for 1 in getting their people into the next round of the tournament…
Fiona plays to the crowd dragging her thumb across her throat.
Fiona O’Connell – That’s it!
She makes her way to the corner where she hops up onto the turnbuckle and leaps off, hitting a perfect 5 star frogsplash, hitting so hard she rolls off with the momentum and scrambles back to make the cover, Erica Costa-Alvarez sliding in and beginning to count
Jessica Carr – Death from Above!!! That should be it..
Victoria Hill – Ref has the count..
…One!
……Two!
………Three!
DING!! DING!!
Marcela Sancho – Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match, by pinfall and moving onto the next round of the Skirmish title tournament, Fiona O’Connell!!
Jessica Carr – That’s two wins in a row for Fiona seems to be turning a corner and getting back towards cashing in her potential!
Victoria Hill – We’ll see if she can keep it up or if she…chokes on her aspirations,
Jessica Carr – Really? I’ll be surprised if 10 people watching at home catch that reference.
Victoria Hill – That’s their problem, not mine.
Jessica Carr – One final commercial break here, and when we come back… Valor Title… Madd Morales… Karlie Nash. It’s our main event of the evening!

The show comes back from the commercial break, and the cameras are backstage. A voiceover comes across the audio.
Jessica Carr – Welcome back to CWF’s Vanguard, our 4th episode of Season 5. We’re almost ready for our main event, but we were told there was something happening in the back with the challenger for the Valor Title Tonight, Karlie Nash.
Victoria Hill – And we’re already back there to take a look.
Segment – Karlie Nash

Karlie is sitting in the locker room, tapping her wrist as Vespertine walks in. Karlie looked her up and down.
Karlie Nash – Here to give me a pep talk?
Vespertine – Well, if that’s all you need, I’m not the right person since he beat me last week and we lost our tag titles to the Reinhardts. We can do a promo backstage, or I can just accompany you to the ring. You know, in case one of his freaks comes out and tries to take advantage. Maybe Trelisa will come out and help us too.
Vespertine visible shrugs
Vespiertine – Who knows. But in the meantime, how are you feeling about the match? You shouldn’t dwell on our tag team loss. Drago is right though. Despite how I feel about it, EG isn’t about titles. It’s about bringing the darkness and making people see the light.
Karlie Nash – I’m sick of Mad Morales, to be honest, so you want to know how I feel about the match? Simple: I want to beat his ass, and yeah, it’s not the time to dwell on our tag team time to move forward with Eternal Grove bringing CWF to its knees.
Vespertine – But you need to be aware. Right now, he’s the Valor champion for a reason. You have to focus on him, but don’t underestimate him. You may be sick of Morales, but it sounds like he’s already in your head. Don’t let him do that. Do you want me to accompany you to the ring? Not even sure what I’m doing here; I came to help set up. The road crew always needs help, but I don’t have a match. Up to you. You’ve faced people like him before and have beaten them. Go to that place you need to, step into it and beat him. Where is that place for you?
Karlie Nash – That place is me sitting on the dock by my hunting cabin. Maybe it’s peace and quiet, but yeah, I’m focused on beating him for sure, and yeah, come out there with me and provide backup just in case some of his freaks do decide to show while I’m beating him senseless, so work crew, huh, you seem to be a woman of many talents. Karlie laughs.
Vespertine – There we are. That’s the Karlie I know. (She puts out a hand for Karlie to dap) You ready?
Karlie nods, and they dap hands. They both leave the dressing room.
“Knuckle Up” blares in the arena. Karlie and Vespertine stepped on the stage; they are joined by Hilda. They make their way to the ring. Vespertine and Hilda enter. Karlie walked around the ring and grabbed a mic, then stepped into the ring.
Karlie Nash – And God let there be light, and there was light, and God saw* the light, that it was good: and God divided* the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night
Eternal Grove, we dwell in both; now I know all you worthless people here tonight look and see I am currently titleless, and as you can see so is Vespertine; she dwells in the Dark, me in the light. Tonight Madd Morales will no longer dwell inside either; you will no longer be a thorn in the side of The Eternal Grove. Morales, I don’t like you; Ves doesn’t like you, Hilda doesn’t know you, but she doesn’t like you either. Tonight everyone expects you to put down another member of the Eternal Grove, you can your life I will do whatever I have to to prevent that from happening, and if your fortunate enough to beat me, I guarantee you you will not walk out of here under your own power, or maybe you won’t do either, and I walk out of here tonight as the new Valor champion.
Karlie, Vespertine, and Hilda get ready for the match, now waiting for things to get started and Morales to come down to the ring.
Jessica Carr – Karlie Nash is ready for this, and its her turn to get her own singles title here in the CWF.
Victoria Hill – She just has to get past Madd Morales to do it. But it’s the CWF and the Valor Title. Anything is possible.
Jessica Carr – Morales has a tough one for his first defence, but why make you wait any longer. Both of them have spoken tonight. Let’s see what they have in the ring.
Singles Match – CWF Valor Championship – “The Natural Athlete” Karlie Nash -vs- “The Airdevil” Madd Morales (C)

Marcela Sancho – The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the CWF Valor championship! Featuring first the challenger, already in the ring… hailing from Grand Marais, Minnesota. She is a member of the Eternal Grove…Karlie Nash!
Jessica Carr – Karlie Nash is planning on avenging Vespertine’s loss and bringing that title back to the Eternal Grove.
Victoria Hill – Yeah, well, she will have to get by Madd Morales, who has beaten a good number of people to get to where he is now.
Marcela Sancho – And her opponent, hailing from Norfolk, Virginia…he is the CWF Valor champion on his first defense…”the Airdevil” Madd Morales!
The arena plunges into darkness. A low rumble kicks in under the silence then- “Beggin on her knees to be popular!”
The distorted, otherworldly beat of “EvilJordan” by Playboi Carti slithers through the speakers like venom in a vein. Red strobes flash in erratic pulses as static crackles across the tron. Then, from the back, through a curtain of smoke that glows hellish crimson, he emerges, draped in a black designer trench that sways with each step, hood shadowing his face. He moves like someone who owns the ground beneath him. It’s slow, cocky, like the devil on his day off. Every bounce in his step carries swagger, but in his silence, there’s something simmering. Something cruel. Something just waiting for someone to pull the pin. As the beat hits harder. He lifts his head.
His eyes shine under the flickering lights as he takes a deep breath, almost as if he is getting high on his own myth. A slow smirk curls across his lips. He drags a single finger across his throat and then points to the ring like he’s blessing it for sacrifice. At ringside, he sheds the trench coat slowly and deliberately, revealing taped fists ripped punk rock jeans that have various anarchism-themed patches that change every night, save for the ones on his left and right legs that read “Air” and “Devil”.
He climbs the steps and turns his back to the ring for a moment, soaking in the judgment from every soul watching. Then he spins and steps through the ropes like he’s entering church. He doesn’t posture. He just waits, eyes locked forward, body still, the music fading into a final eerie pulse. He hands off the Valor championship belt for referee Scott Jones to display to the audience before surrendering it to the timekeeper.
Jessica Carr – Madd Morales has gone on record to say that this championship reign will be a prelude to his getting the Conquest championship.
Victoria Hill – It’s a whole lot of bluster if you ask me, but he could be one to do it just like Abigail Dresden.
Jessica Carr – I mean, he is a good wrestler.
Victoria Hill – Yeah, one of the best! Especially when his… sumptuous tag team partner is around.
Jessica Carr – The Peak of Freak?
Victoria Hill – What a man!
As the bell sounds to start the match, Karlie runs across the ring and hammers Madd with some European uppercuts before whipping him into the ropes. She follows so that the second he comes off of the ropes, she’s on him with a power slam to the mat! She grabs him by the hair and slams the back of his head into the mat a few times before moving onto his legs. As she reaches for his right leg, he rolls away from her and back to his feet. She is on him, pummeling him with a few more forearm shots and whipping him into the ropes again. She sends him right to the mat with a drop toe hold and grabs him by the right ankle as she quickly gets back to her feet.
A spinning toe hold on repeat is what Madd Morales gets while staying absolutely silent even as he is in pain. Karlie holds onto the right ankle and kicks him in the hamstrings of the right leg a few times before wrapping him up in a figure-four leglock.
Jessica Carr – Karlie keeps Madd on the ground and unable to mount an offense.
Victoria Hill – That would be the way to do it.
Madd stretches out his arms as he is refusing to submit and reaches the ropes. This causes Scott Jones to have Karlie break the hold, which she does…after a five count. Karlie gets right back to her feet and stomps Madd’s leg.
Karlie pulls Madd up and puts his head between her legs. She lifts him up as if to go for a jackknife powerbomb, but Madd wiggles and punches Karlie in the head a few times so that he drops down with his legs around Karlie’s head and brings her down with a headscissors takedown! Madd gets back up to his feet and goes to the ropes as Karlie is getting up. On the rebound, he slams into her full force with a running dropkick that sends her backpedalling to the corner. He spears her into the corner and grabs the middle rope to do several shoulder thrusts into the corner using the ropes as leverage. Scott Jones tells him to back away, and he does with a smirk.
Jessica Carr – And the offense changes just that fast.
Victoria Hill – It is as expected. Madd is a champion after all.
Jessica Carr – And Karlie is a former champion.
Victoria Hill – True that.
Karlie takes a couple of steps out of the corner, and Madd is on her again. He drop kicks her into the corner and hits a back roll throw that sends Karlie across the ring! He gets right back up and goes to the top rope…
Jessica Carr – I don’t know if this is a good idea.
Victoria Hill – Prolly not, but when did that stop Madd?
Madd leaps through the air for an asai moonsault, but Karlie isn’t there when he lands! Madd rolls to his side in pain as Karlie gets back to her feet. She kicks him solidly in the ribs before applying the figure-four leglock again!
Jessica Carr – Karlie really trying to keep Madd on the ground.
Victoria Hill – It’s what I would do. Keep him on the ground and grind him up.
Madd yells in pain, but does not submit. He reaches for the ropes, but they are too far out of reach. Scott Jones checks again to see if he will submit, but Madd just yells no. He starts moving and rolls both him and Karlie over, reversing the figure four instead of breaking free.
The move is quickly released, and Karlie slowly gets up as Madd does. She decks him with a hard right hand, but he only grins at her.
Jessica Carr – Madd with a bloody smile as blood drips from a split lip from that shot.
Victoria Hill – Why is he just standing there?
Karlie goes to strike Madd in the face again, but Madd grabs the arm and twists it into a chicken wing behind Karlie’s back before hitting a suplex! Madd applies a calf slicer with a crazy grin. Scott Jones checks to see if Karlie will surrender, but she refuses.
Karlie reaches out and finds the bottom rope for Scott Jones to tell Madd to break the hold. Which he does, after a five count.
Karlie gets to her feet and grabs Madd in a collar-elbow lock-up. She pushes against him, and he turns, tossing her to the mat. She gets right back to her feet, and he launches at him, taking him down with a shoulder. She kicks him a few times before pulling him up and starting to get him into a double underhook, but Madd drops to the mat and rolls away to his feet. Karlie takes a swing at him, but he dodges the blow, grabs the arm, and pulls him into a short arm clothesline. Madd Morales climbs to the top rope with his fingers pointed up to the sides of his head like horns to taunt the crowd before leaping through the air with a corkscrew moonsault! He goes for the cover as Scott Jones gets into position!
….one
……two
……..three!
Jessica Carr – Madd Morales has done it! He’s passed the first defense!
Victoria Hill – The first of five.
Marcela Sancho – Winner of the match and STILL CWF Valor champion…Madd Morales!
Madd Morales stands in the ring with the Valor championship belt held over his head in one hand and the other, holding up one.
Jessica Carr – That’s crazy that he thinks he’s going to breeze through five defenses and get to the Conquest champion.
Victoria Hill – Looks like first defense tonight, next show second defense, third defense at the pay-per-view Vanguard, and then the next two shows. He could be the challenger for the championship at Cyber Warfare!
Jessica Carr – This is true, but that’s all the time we have for tonight.
Victoria Hill – Yep. Until War Zone comes at ya.
Both – #jointheconquest!
