The CWF… and 4WW… heading into Shadow Warfare.

James “Jimmy” Collins – CWF News Director

Oh, things are happening around the CWF and 4WW and we can’t keep it all under wraps.

Hi, once again I’m Jimmy Collins, the CWF’s News Director and we’re going to catch everyone up on the news so far for the CWF and 4WW as we head into Shadow Warfare.

I’m going to go ahead and break them down, so you hear it from the CWF first, and not some other cut rate news source out there.

First some good and netural things before we get to the possibly bad…

  • CWF Valor Champion (and 4WW Albion Champion/4WW Legion Champion) Abbigail Dresden was recently seen doing a bit of charity work with the NASL team FC Edmonton. She worked with the women on the team, doing a skills camp. This was shown on local tv stations, in her eternal quest to make Football of the Soccer Variety more popular in the U.S. and Canada. Of course she also was working to help promote the CWF, some of their charity organizations and more in meetings with the team and other women interested in Soccer. (a small note: it’s said that Ms. Dresden also did all of this without mentioning her thoughts on the Canadian National Soccer Team.)
  • CWF’s Elite X match at Shadow Warfare is heating up. It would appear that Father Nathan has tossed his hat into the ring. He’s already go ta chance to earn a shot at the Elite Title if he beats Tarrasque, but nothing says he can’t also enter the scramble of the Elite X match as well.
  • Word has it that Monster Mammoth has been showing up to shows in his old stomping grounds, AFW (All Federation Wrestling). Either that or someone has been trying to steal his gimmick. Who ever it is, has been beating up his old rivals and spray painting Mammoths on the walls. A note, the CWF and 4WW have not condoned anything of the sort, but word has it that his contract allows him to wrestle elsewhere like a few others in the federation.
  • Eddie Williams seems to have found his niché in the hardcore world. His ascension to the 4WW Maelstrom Champion after the falling out with that other federation and interfed has fueled him getting back on track. He had a rough start after that in season 3… even failing to capture the Valor Championship from Abbigail Dresden, but now it seems he’s looking at recent changes as a sign of his future. Even though he lost his Death Match against Greg Salazar, his momentum has not stopped and he has to be considered a favorite for the Elite X match. But we’ll have to wait and see with everyone else seeing that vacant title as their means to raising above the rest of the roster.
  • 4 Winds Wrestling News – it’s official, the 4WW has launched and their first co-event will be Shadow Warfare with four of the 4WW belts up for grabs. It’s said that after Shadow Warfare is done, that they will openly start recruiting other federations to join in.

And now to some bad things coming off Season 3 Episode 5 of Warzone…

  • There has been word that the events that transpired between the manager of Tarrasque, Jasmin Minton and Gabriel Tuck have turned into charges of attempted murder. Tuck was arrested at the end of Warzone, and word has it that he’s made bail and an agreement has been made allowing him to travel to compete at Shadow Warfare.
  • On a similar note, Valora Salinas, who was the referee in that match, had both been subpoenaed as a witness and arrested for assault for when she hit Minton with a lead pipe. She has also provided bail, and been allowed to travel to Shadow Warfare on a similar agreement.
  • RCMP and Canadian authorities have said they’re bringing in anyone they can as a witness who was involved in the match up or production. No other arrests have been made at this time.
  • Word has it that CWF co-owner, G. Ian Childress has arranged for top Legal Representation for both Salinas and Tuck, through his wife’s legal business which does have offices and attorneys in the province of Alberta, Canada.
  • The official word is, that of course, this having been a wrestling entertainment show no one was in actual danger.
  • CWF Talent Relations has not returned any notes or comments on the status of Ms. Minton’s contract after these charges, allegations and other possible legal issues. But, as with how quickly Ms. Fortune-Salazar was getting onto a plane back to Seattle… and her current condition (8 months pregnant!), we fully understand and will update once we have official word from her.

That’s all for now.. more news as it comes in.
