We find ourselves on what would be a set that’s something like a modern day news anchor set. A long desk with two people seated at it. A CWF Season 3 logo, and behind them are a series of slot machines, branded for CWF.
Seated at the desk are Vanguard General Managers, Jane Coughlin, and CWF Commissioners, Blaise McClancy.
Jane Coughlin – Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, and welcome a bit of a preview of what’s coming this season to the CWF. I’m Jane Coughlin, the General Manager of CWF’s newest show, Vanguard.
Blaise McClancy – And I’m Blaise McClancy, the CWF Commissioner, and divisional coordinator for the IK0n Trios Division. And boy do we have some announcements for you tonight as we head into Season 3.
Jane Coughlin – First off, as previously announced, the CWF will be starting Season 3 in the area around Los Angeles, California as we start our tour of the Western United States and Canada for Season 3. It was already announced that Warzone would be in the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. We’re happy to announce that Vanguard will be technically just down the road at the Anaheim Convention Center and tickets are on sale… NOW.
Blaise McClancy – And why are we announcing this tonight? Well, that’s because the CWF’s relationship with the Ik0n network means we’re doing something for them, and them for us. We are having a little tournament to crown the inaugural Ik0n Trios Champions! First, lets get to the format of what we’re doing here.
Jane Coughlin – Well this little tourney is taking over Vanguard for our first show. We have 7 teams that came forward wanting a shot, so we’re doing a little mini tournament. The Quarter Finals and Semifinals will be on Vanguard.
Blaise McClancy – Of course we said 7 teams signed up. So we have an odd man out. So before the matches start on Vanguard, we’re going to have a representative of each team will come to a selected area, and pull on a slot machine’s lever. Each team will get scored based on their pull. The winning team on the pull is going to get a first round bye… and be advanced to the semi finals. Then also, based on the scores, the other six teams will have their quarter final matches assigned.
Jane Coughlin – And then the two semi final matches will be our main events of the night.
Blaise McClancy – And then the two winners of the semis, will go on to Warzone where they will main event the night in a good old fashioned, Ladder Match for the Trios Titles!
Jane Coughlin – So I guess you all want to hear the teams… First of course, we have the CWF’s own Bastards! Frank Windsor, Eddie Williams and the now former Conquest Champion, Rob Riot going after their dream of Trios gold.
Blaise McClancy – We have from the Ik0n side of things: The House of the Rising Sun, of which I believe Kuro Honō is a part of. He made his debut at Urban Warfare in the Valor Title Scramble match.
Jane Coughlin – We also have some new Combatants from the CWF, with Team Viper, of which we know two of their members: “The Peak of Freak” Monster Mammoth and “The Airdevil” Madd Morales.
Blaise McClancy – I understand they’re already booked in Ik0n as well, with their debut match for AWS being against our now former tag champions, Pacific Rim.
Jane Coughlin – Speaking of Pacific Rim, we know they’re good friends with Abbigail Dresden who is apparently representing Ik0n, specifically AWS as the Upstarts will be coming in. Abby Dresden, Miguel Lanza, Jr and… Testuo Oni IV.
McClancy gives Jane a look with that announcement. He’s holding something back.
Blaise McClancy – And we’ll also see Armand Von Krauss’ hand picked team, the Dark Kharnival of the Marquis de Harlequin, Katya Karnvalka and being joined by Von Krauss’ hitman, Gabriel Tuck.
Jane Coughlin – And also from the Ik0n side, World Elite, with AJ Flare, Lindsey Flare, and Kofi Von Erich.
Blaise McClancy – And finally, we have a team called Bad Company. I’m told they’re from the CWF, but I don’t know anything about them at this time.
Jane Coughlin – Well we’ll find out at Vanguard when they get to the ring!
A graphic comes up on the screen with the following combatant teams listed:
Ik0n Trios Title Tourney Teams
---
The Bastards (CWF) House of the Rising Sun (AWS/Kore) Team Viper (CWF) World Elite (AWS/Kore) The Upstarts (AWS/Kore) The Kharnival (CWF) Bad Company (CWF)
Blaise McClancy – And now lets go ahead and run down the rest of the leadup card for Warzone. We’ll be starting with some debut matches as Larry Landsdowne will be taking on Eoin O’Rourke.
Jane Coughlin – O’Rourke coming back from being suspended on the Warzone prior to Urban Warfare. And his wife, Apathy will be taking on the debuting Father Nathan O’Connell. She has been cleared to wrestle after what happened in her last match, when she faced Frank Windsor for the Valor Championship.
Blasie McClancy – Speaking of the Valor Championship, Lady Lana Hill is getting a chance to claim that title from the new champion, Iro Waters in his first defense.
Jane Coughlin – I’m actually looking forward to that one. Lana has been a stalwart in the CWF for a long time. I wish her well and wish her luck. But Iro Waters had his first win in a while and I don’t think he’s planning on stopping his momentum just quite yet.
Blasie McClancy – We’ll then have another debut with “Wicked’ Kat Hale taking on Mysterion!
Jane Coughlin – Oh, who will Mysterion be that night? So many possibilities in the area!
Blaise McClancy – Well, we’re going to then ramp it up with an Elite Championship Match up, with our Hardcore Icon, Steve Murdock getting a chance to dethrone Valora Salinas.
Jane Coughlin – And the randomizer is in play, ladies and gentlemen. What type of extreme match will they be in?
Blaise McClancy – And of course, then we’ll have have the finals of the Ik0n Trios Tourney, where the winning team will be the first ever Ik0n Trios Champions, and go down in history.
Jane Coughlin – And that is a hell of a CWF weekend for you. From the start of that tourney on Vanguard to the finish on Warzone. The CWF is looking to be about to do BIG things in Season 3… bigger venues, bigger names, bigger shows. And it will all end in our new home, Las Vegas Nevada. The road to Vegas starts with our first episodes of the season in the L.A. Area. Make sure you tune in.
Blaise McClancy – And remember, #jointheconquest.
Jane Coughlin – Oh, Eddie and Ben are going to be mad you said it and they didn’t.
