S3E6 – Vanguard and Warzone Cards

We open to the Observation Deck of Armand von Krauss’ black airship. It’s a luxury lounge with large observation windows out through the front of the airship by which those sitting inside can see out across the landscape of where the ship is going. The airship is similar to something you would find in a Final Fantasy game except luxurious.  

Armand von Krauss and Esmeralda von Krauss sit side by side in easy chairs with a little table with an ashtray on it. An unused ashtray, mind, as Armand and Esmeralda flick their ashes onto the floor instead of using the ashtray. The floor looks like it had been recently redone with a fine carpet, probably because of this very reason. 

Armand von Krauss – Why hello there, meine Freunde. I have not taken a turn in reviewing the upcoming shows and so it falls to me-

Esmeralda von Krauss —  And me, dahling. 

Armand von Krauss – To give you the info of what’s to come. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  We will go to the Brandt Center in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada for Vanguard S3E6. The entire show is going to be dedicated to a single match with the winner getting a title shot at any championship, dahling. 

Armand von Krauss – Wait, any? I don’t know if that’s a good idea.

Esmeralda von Krauss —  You said it was a great idea when I was doing that thing with my tongue that-

Armand von Krauss – Right. It’s a great idea. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  It’s an elimination match, but it will not start out in the ring. It could end in the ring, but there’s that chance that it doesn’t even reach the ring. Everyone will start someplace in the arena. Just…someplace, dahling. The idea is to hunt them down and eliminate them by pinfall or submission. We will have name tags on each of the participants and the referees will all be on hand for this match to be able to find the action where it happens in the arena and go there to be able to officiate an elimination. Last one standing wins the match. 

Armand von Krauss – No disqualifications. I expect total chaos in the arena as I’m sure that each participant will have a set of look outs to be able to find each other and spark conflict easier. Who is in this celebration of destruction? Well let me be the-

Esmeralda von Krauss —  One to tell you, dahling! 

Armand von Krauss – Well, yes. Let my lovely wife tell you who is going to be participating in this match.

Esmeralda von Krauss —  We will have Justin Windgate, Monster Mammoth, Lady Lana Hill, Trelisa Perrault, Blood Angel, Johnny Sniper, Miguel Lanza Jr, Tracy Cage, and a mystery challenger. I know who the mystery person is, but I’m not telling. He’s so delicious is what I can tell you. 

Armand von Krauss – You could at least tell me.

Esmeralda von Krauss —  I think not. You’ll only be tempted to try to murder him. 

Armand von Krauss – Caia!

Esmeralda von Krauss —  Now, dahling. We are modern people now. Use my name.

Armand von Krauss – Fine. Esmeralda. 

Emeralda von Krauss – Thank you! Now, during this match, it will be expected that the participants will cut promos. We won’t pause the match so that you can so if you are found during the promo, then you are found during the promo. 

Armand von Krauss – After Vanguard is finished, we will move on to War Zone. This will be held at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in what I do believe will be the final War Zone in Canada for the rest of the season as we continue the road to Las Vegas. We will begin the night as Chris Ross returns to the ring and takes on Mysterion. Who will Mysterion be, Esmeralda?

Esmeralda von Krauss —  Why, I don’t know, dahling? But I’m sure he will be interesting. Chris Ross will knock him down. 

Armand von Krauss – Speaking of being “knocked down”, next we will have Frank WIndsor take on Gabriel Tuck. It’s a punishment for both men. Frank for losing to Kronin and Gabriel for trying to help Rob Riot. Heck with them both. I fully expect Frank to take out his anger issues on Gabriel and beat him to a pulp to show that he still has a fire lit within him. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  And then next we will have Tetsuo ONi IV and Kat Hale take on Zolothach in a handicap match. Don’t we know Zolothach, Armand?

Armand von Krauss – She has tried to kill you several times, but failed. She’s with Morgan Decker now just to upset Kat Hale.

Esmeralda von Krauss —  I wouldn’t be upset if my man was with a raggedy doll like Zolothach. I would know for sure that he was just trying to make me jealous. 

Armand von Krauss – Sometime during the night, we are expecting Kronin Reinhardt in the ring to talk about his victory over Frank Windsor in being the first one to ever retain the Conquest title at a pay-per-view. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  And then we get to the first championship match of the night as Abbigail Dresden defends her Valor championship against Iro Waters. How many chances is young Iro going to get before we simply give up on the boy?

Armand von Krauss – Hey, he earned that title shot. We will give out title shots to anyone who earn them. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  It will also be dear Abbigail’s fifth title defense so if she wins this match, she will vacate the title and earn a title shot at any title. She could even request a title shot at her father for the Four Winds Wrestling championship. 

Armand von Krauss – That would be intriguing, but I doubt very much she is ready to face her father in the ring so soon, but yes. She could take on anyone. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  The final match of the night is the Maelstrom championship as Steve Murdock takes on the champion, Eddie WIlliams. What kind of match will this be?

Armand von Krauss – Well, Esmeralda. The Maelstrom championship is a hardcore-based title. So, I would say whatever kind of hardcore gimmick he would like to have for the match. 

Esmeralda von Krauss —  I like that, dahling. I like that a lot. 

Armand von Krauss – The final match of the night, the main event of War Zone is where Father Nathan O’Connell takes on Madd Morales for the Elite championship. This should be an exciting match. Will Madd Morales be able to hold onto the title like Valora did?

Esmeralda von Krauss – Dahling, no one could hold onto a title like Valora could. Rob Riot and Kronin Reinhardt are thanking their lucky stars that she went into management. 

Armand von Krauss – I doubt Riot is. He’s arrogant enough to think that he could defeat her. 

Esmeralda von Krauss – Well, he is a lot like you in that respect. I think that’s why you hate him so.

Armand von Krauss – I am not a bit like Rob Riot!

Esmeralda von Krauss – Dahling, of course not. That’s why I chose Shane Mitchell instead of him. 

Armand von Krauss – Let’s not speak of Shane Mitchell. Esmeralda von Krauss – Why? You might slip where you put him?

Armand von Krauss – Well? It sounds like that’s it for the shows. We should be able to find the most excitement of the season yet.
